Find Best Price at Amazon"This Palm can do a basic (but outdated) wireless Internet, has full Bluetooth, an excellent display and battery life, and finally fixes a lot of the bugs and patches missing features while adding new ones, such as multi-tasking in Applications when the Home button is held down. The case is a deep, navy blue color with a black, polyester-like flip-back cover, and it presents the standard four buttons and five-way Navigation control in the center. Otherwise, the build is very solid, like the rest of the Tungsten series, and unlike the iPaq I had tried to buy and use a few years ago, dropping it didn't break the screen."
"I knew it would be a pain because I sync with 2 PCs (one Vista PC at home and one XP PC at work), and the one at work I sync with Outlook calendar/tasks and Palm Desktop memos/contacts. I'm still not done because I discovered that I need another software (Intellisync) to split the sync at work (sync with Outlook for calendar/tasks and sync with Palm Desktop for memos/contacts). The conduit that accompanies the Palm T/X only lets you sync with Palm Desktop OR Outlook -- all of it (memos, contacts, calendar, tasks). that comes with the Palm T/X looks cheap and doesn't even cover the Palm."

"I moped around for a while (The Palm company is dead & buried, etc) but then had an inspiration and went out on Amazon to see what I could see about E2s. I ordered a new one and it arrived a few days later and worked like a champ right out of the box, with one MAJOR exception. I called Guaranteed Tech and spent the next TWO HOURS working with a guy there (I think he's the owner or some such). I lost all the data on the old one but that was partly due to auto backup that I had running weekly, PLUS dear ol' McAffee antivirus software."

"Last year, I purchased an E2 to replace my Tungsten E - which had become increasingly difficult to turn on and impossible to turn off: the power switch died within months of purchasing it and I had to use the function buttons (e.g. the address book / date book buttons) to get it to come on. This is unacceptable from a service standpoint - if you have a PDA, chances are you rely pretty heavily on it and cannot be without it that long!! The screen display is great indoors but very, very hard to read outdoors in the sun. Battery life usually serves nicely for a full day of out-and-about (I tend to pop the thing out whenever I'm waiting anywhere, to play games or read ebooks, so it gets used heavily). We've tried two third-party alternatives: GroupSync, which ran in the background with every sync but was very, very wonky - duplicated entries constantly - and didn't work when we moved to a Tungsten platform; and SyncUs, which requires us to manually bring up the application, which compares differences in the two users and suggests things we should copy from one to the other (and makes that easy by providing appropriate onscreen buttons)."
