There is no line or instructions for attaching the backing to the middle support shelf. So, get a long straight edge, lay the cabinet frame down on its front side, position the backing correctly height-wise, push slightly off to one side and mark a center for the support shelf position on one side, then push other direction and mark a center line on the other side. Use the straight edge to connect the two center marks together to get the line for screw/nail placement. Reposition the backing to the correct location and start attaching with the nails (or screws if you're like me). For that price point, I would expect much better quality hinges, metal supports for shelves, and screws for the backing material."

Find Best Price at Amazon"although rather lightweight compared to Gorilla brand shelving........these work OK... assembly on the 2nd tier was a pain...keeping the upper corners aligned with the lower sections... take your 2x4 block used for assembly...and put small pry bar over the 2x4 edge to lock corners into place... lifting the upper tier into position..then tap all rivets into place...I also attached grabber screws into OSB wall board. to hold shelving tight & secure to wall."
"They're not as thick as you'd think, so placing them on top of one other is a giant pain, and frankly won't be surprised if one day come out and see they "slipped" and the shelves are tilted all of a sudden."
"I am a fairly handy woman but I am short....I did it by myself, but if I were to do it again, I would have someone help me to get things put together easier. The shelves are just particle board so it can't be stored outside in the damp unless you do some sort of protectant on the wood. It holds a lot of stuff though and has a great weight limit."
"Shelf brackets have 2 rivets per side, but the holes in the supports are closer together than the rivets. Because the rivets slide up and out of the support slots, and the top half doesn't lock in place well, lifting it by the shelves will cause parts to pop off. The biggest scare is the 2 section supports. In fact, on one shelf (we bought four) there wasn't enough space on the rivets to put two layers, therefore the top section is simply sitting on the top rivets, not locked in. I'd give this thing a 4 star, maybe 5 if the supports were a single 6' section."
"After some testing with known weights, I think storing more than 100lbs for any length of time would buckle the flimsy wood shelves. I'm requesting a refund, but in all honesty unless they are willing to pay the return shipping it's probably not worth sending back."

"I don't think I could have found a better option that was both this affordable and this sturdy. Based on touching things in the store, I think these are a more sturdy option than the press-board kitchen cabinets you can buy at the big-box home improvement stores. I was expecting it to be a pain like other press-board furniture, but really, it was fast and the end result is sturdy. I will always hate myself when buying press-board furniture, but if I have another need for it in the future, I would buy these again probably without even shopping around. At the very top and very bottom you get a small gap, in the middle the cabinets touch."
