"NOTE: I see that the supposed soft-lock system is a series of different textured rubber rings embedded on the screws, inner one is softer and the outer one is harder. But to adjust the ruler I had to loosen screws pretty loose, since the softer rubber tends to kind of deform if it is a bit tight."
