"That was until March when suddenly my tiny cat start wheezing and gagging while walking around rather sluggishly. We flew into a panic not sure what was happening until suddenly she coughed up a long piece of black rubber. It was when we finally cleared the feeder and looked inside that we noticed the wheel that moves food from the funnel to the bowl had chunks of rubber tearing off. My first message was sent March 13 and they replied rather quickly asking if I could ship the device back to them and then offered to refund the cost of the machine. I sent follow-up emails in April, May, and June and was given the runaround the first two months until finally they completely stopped responding."

Find Best Price at Amazon"Went on vacation, set it for breakfast only (and let the pet sitter handle dinner) and it worked like a charm. My original review: This is perfect for pet parents who want to auto feed their four-legged kids on a daily basis. Instead of filling separate meal chambers, this style of feeder allows you dump a ton of food in and let it go. For me though, I rely on my little fuzzy alarm clock to annoy me out of bed in the mornings, and really just need something for the weekends and short getaways. It does have a power button on the bottom, so I could just fill it up then shut it off during the week, but I'd feel bad teasing my little long-tailed darling with a dormant canister of food in the living room. The rotating rudder that pushes food into the exit chamber doesn't touch the bottom, and doesn't extend very far, so it can't sweep much beyond the center. The minus: the first morning I tried it the thing woke me up.... out of nowhere I hear my own voice shout out from the other room, "Tinker!"

"The only things that stop me from giving this item a 5 star rating are: I don't like using military time, it just is not norm for us and wish it would just use a 12 hour setup. When the food drops some of it just sits at the back of dish which based on the design is difficult for the pets to reach... I've only had two hiccups so to speak and that's because I had to adjust feeding schedule and it was my error (though programming is not very simple till you get use to it of course). Forgot to mention that, this feeder does not make it easy for your cat or dog to steal food in between meals... another good thing:)."

You can check in from anywhere in the world (so long as your Feed and Go is connected to your wi-fi) and make sure your pet is ok. Note: We do not recommend leaving wet food in your Feed and Go for longer than 24 hours. You can create virtually unlimited one time or regular schedules for your pet’s food, treats and medication. Don’t worry if your Wi-Fi loses reception though – once a schedule has been set, it’s stored in the feeder so will still work just fine, even if your Wi-Fi is having a bad day. Find Best Price at Amazon"I got a kitten (Ping) and decided I wanted to feed her mostly wet cat food. My sisters cat (Missy) is free fed dry food and since I'm doing the absolute opposite (meal feeding wet food) I was worried that Missy would end up eating Ping's food. I also didn't realize until I got it that it might take a little time for Ping to know to go the feeder when the compartment opens; that's why the recording is awesome. It would be frustrating if it only had the feed now button because then there would be the possibility that Missy would come over and I would just have to watch her eat Ping's food on the webcam. Also, just something to be aware of, when I first got it and set it up I would try to click the call my pet over or feed now button and it would say it wasn't connected to the Internet, even though I just set it up and according to the back of the feeder it was connected. Ping has had a fine time getting all her food, but if this becomes a problem I would suggest getting some silicone cupcake holders and cutting them so they're shallow enough to fit inside the compartment and putting the food in there. Improvement: -one thing that really annoys me is that when you click "Call my pet over" a window pops up that says "do you want to call you pet over?" I often times have to click the call my pet over button 5-10 times until Ping will come over, in the beginning it was waaay more."
"I'm out at work for around 8 hours most days and I've started using the feeder to check in on Mackenzie. Feed and Go allows me to be just as strict with his feeding time, which as you know is essential to a good routine and to help him with his IBS. Feed and Go is super reliable, has never let me down, I can check the tray (simple) to see if he's been fed when I get back back, and the feeder also stores the schedule in its own internal memory incase my wifi goes down (not something I've had to test fortunately). ***Medication*** Mackenzie had to take some antibiotics 12 hours apart and Feed and Go allowed me to be exact with the feeding times. When I don't, I love to feed Mackenzie myself (for dominance / alpha and simple love) and can do so by hitting the unlock button and then the feed button on top of the feeder). But when I'm running late, at work, or time runs away from me, the feeder feeds him, and I get A TEXT to let me know he's been fed!!"

"This straw MUST be pushed all the way into the tube and pressed as close as possible to the plastic notch that you will see poking out a bit in the lid just at the end of the straw. To push the straw all the way in you can pretty much use anything that will allow you to press the ball bearing (that your pet pushes to get water out) into the tube until the straw is as far as it will go. Look for the plastic notch that sticks out inside the lid. The straw should be in contact with it."
