Reviews
"This bike earned five stars from our household because it's a good-looking, thoughtfully designed option for small kids who want a big-kid ride. -- It comes in a hard-to-find 14" size, which is just right for many riders ages 4 and 5. He was riding a 16" bike with training wheels, and although he had developed the balance necessary to ride without trainers, he was afraid to ride without them as his feet couldn't touch the ground."
"I sat down and read every single review of this bike, and I would like to address what seemed to be the most popular complaints: * "Too heavy!" Then, thinking about the mess of returning this large object, I ran out to the shed to see how heavy her 12" bike was. * "Wheels don't spin freely" - This was also a big concern of mine, as I am a stickler about quality control at the factory level. One thing I noticed was that the front caliper brakes needed to be adjusted, as they were rubbing slightly against the tire, creating that "imbalanced" sound when spinning the wheel quickly. If the coaster brake is engaged in the slightest, you can hear it rubbing as the wheel turns, so take note. Which leads me to the next con to address... * "Wheels out of true" - This one was concerning because it was mentioned by a few reviewers who claimed to have experience in bike assembly, maintenance, and repair. Once I figured out tightening the spokes was counterclockwise, in about 10 minutes I had both wheels very close to true and they spun much easier! Since I was able to correct the issue, and I'm pretty sure that places like Wally World and Target don't "true" their bikes prior to purchase, I decided not to dock a star. However, after easily peeling off a few decals, and throwing out the ridiculous stickers that come with it, this bike only says "RoyalBaby" in two places...the seat and the center of the handlebars. Even the company logo on the front of the frame has a predominant crown where you can't even see the small print "RoyalBaby" unless you stick your face right up to the forks. However we have several bicycle water bottles in our home and they all fit snugly in the holder, which is made of metal and bolts to the frame. Besides, the rear axle sits in a groove which allows you to slide it backwards or forward to adjust the tension in the chain, which apparently, some of these reviewers failed to realize. With a little time taken to read the instructions and make some basic adjustments, this bike seems more than capable of providing our kids with years of good riding."
"The only negative I have to mention, and it’s a small one is that the water bottle holder doesn’t fit too well between the seat, and rear tire."
"Looked like it was easy to assemble (I caught Santa putting it together Christmas Eve) and I love that it comes with all the extras that you would want on a bike like a water bottle, a bell, and the training wheels."
"The bike comes in about 5 pieces, so no need to pay for "expert" assembly unless you are truly incapable of the simplest directions - or have a physical handicap that would be an issue, and even then just hire a neighborhood kid to it."

"The differences in cost in the sub-$150 range are licensing for movie/tv characters, one or both hand brakes (which are always of so horrible quality they are unusable after a few weeks, if they were ever very useable at all in the first place), and brand name (like a company that actually makes some quality adult bikes). The things you have to attach are the front wheel, pedals (make sure you have left and right correct so you don’t strip the threads), seat (which is already attached to the post), handlebars (which are already attached to the stem), and training wheels (which are also pre-assembled). Otherwise I would have had to make a trip to the hardware store that would have had me rather pissed off. It does. The pedals don’t spin freely on the crank arms – they spin, but if you flip them they won’t make a couple revolutions. The wheels don’t spin forever – but they spin fine enough for a small kid. He’s been riding it for the past couple weeks and there have been no issues."
"We have only had it for a week but it seems like a sturdy bike and is a good value for the price."
"Best gift I ever got for my 6 year old son he really enjoys it and it was easy to assemble it rides smooth and safe."
"We bought this bike for my son's 5th B-day and didn't think I needed to open the box to check the hardware."
"Last time i checked a bike with no front wheel is useless unless you want to purchase a unicycle."
"Even though this looks like its a good bike if you get one with the right pieces, I would recommend avoiding the headache and getting a different bike,"
"Rear tire will not hold air."
"Very frustrating to tell a 4yr old on his bday he can't ride the bike in front of him."

Reviews
"My only criticisms are that it takes a little while to put together (20 to 30 minutes) and also the adult handle bar could be a couple inches longer."
"So I wanted to buy my daughter a trike that I can push until she reaches the peddles and also adjusts to her size. I really needed this to be a sturdy, easy to maneuver, and durable trike for long periods of use since we do plenty of walking. I've read in some reviews that some trikes have handles that come off and feel cheap because of the plastic materials they are made from. It has a hatchback, meaning there is a compartment on the back that can hold keys, phones, toys, and rocks that your child might collect on your walk. And lastly, the seat moves, the harness can be taken off, the pedals can be adjusted to stay still while you push the bike... Basically many things that other trikes didn't have."
"Make sure the petal screws are tight-they were already on the bike, we did not put them on. Once we put the new screws on tight, the bike did fine over rough sidewalks but I am not sure this will last."
"We have been extremely impressed with the versatile nature of this product."
"It is a great trike, but a bit large for my 2 year old grandson."
"Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my eight month old son."
"The only problem I would like to see changed is to have a place for the child to put his feet when he is small - it could unclip when they get older. My grandson simply dangles his feet down, which means the pedals bump his feet when we are rolling."
"Back wheels are not good and no tray to keep the legs for toddlers under 19 months and handle is not good at all."

"My 8 yr old son loves this bike exhaust system!"
"Easy install, 7 year old has a lot of fun with it and seems to like it."
"This is a cute item I would suggest not buying the replacement cards save your money you could make your own out of some type of hard plastic and trace the original ones I did not hear any difference between the three plastic cards it comes with this will not work well I'm sorry it will not fit well on a 14 inch kids bike."
"Cute product."
"I used the biggest ones that would fit through the bolt holes and the included rubber piece (to grip the frame) and it's been flawless since."
"Missing a star because I would be more than happy to pay quite a bit more for a metal version if one existed."
"The plastic "Pringles" top/lid that he was using prior was louder and more realistic than this."

"The gloves were not as small as I had hoped but everything else worked well!"
"Within 3 days of arrival and one use the straps of the guards are tearing off ."

Reviews
"This is the second set i bought from them..she got a new bike so i ordered these for her new bike."
"So trying to adjust chain slack, height of wheels and making sure the rear wheel is straight at the same time was kinda pain in the (;&:'."
"Now that she's older she was passed down a 16" bike which doesn't have training wheels."
"A problem may come up because the rear axle on the bicycle wasn't long enough to correctly add the training wheels to the axle."
"A bit of a challenge putting them on the Firmstrong Urban Girl Single Speed Beach Cruiser Bicycle (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004CZEBX6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but overall pretty sturdy."
"Razor High Roller BMX/Freestyle Bike, 20-Inch,... is what we bought these for - you can't use the braces/locks/brackets pictured on this bike, but the training wheels if you tighten them good, don't need them."
"She was fearful of graduating to a larger bike, but these gave her the confidence to move forward, and within a very short period of time, they were removed from her bike."
"Purchased these to replace a set of factory OEM diamondback training wheels that collapsed after about 15hrs of use by a 40lb child (scary). In the old set the lack of support there caused the metal around where the bolt passed through to collapse and my son to fall off his bike (luckily into the grass)."
