Others have said in their reviews that they had issues with rail mounts on the same S&W M&P but a proper rail mount should be very snug and the manual points out one for front and one for rear, not either or and since mine slid from the back rail to the first of the barrel This might be the issue especially when you consider I reverse mounted mine with no issues after trying the other ways. I feel good rail mounts should not require loctite especially Mil Spec.."

"Most picatinny compatible accessories I am familiar with have a loose piece on one side of the rail and a stiff mounted side with a screw that tightens to make it work like a clamp. I was using these on a 10/22 rail (have to buy a picatinny compatible rail, they won't work on a weaver), and I had to use a rubber mallet to whack them into place. If these are supposed to be for an AR, they won't work on a Knight's RAS II because of the little hump that rail system has."
