Fitbit Charge 2 Heart Rate + Fitness Wristband, Black, Large (US Version)
Make every beat count with Fitbit Charge 2—the all-new heart rate and fitness wristband built for all-day, workouts and beyond. PurePulse continuous, automatic wrist-based heart rate tracking to better measure calorie burn all day.
Reviews
"I found the Fitbit to be an incredible fitness device compared to the Apple watch. The fitbit can also track sleep, and give you an estimate of your cardio fitness score (V02 Max). Other features: Clearly the fitbit is not a smart watch, but the text and call notifications are great when you're working out and don't have quick access to your phone. Accuracy: Tie. I have no idea what the negative reviews are talking about (Maybe they received a defective device or have exceptionally hairy arms?). The apple watch is slightly more accurate when it comes to distance, and probably more suited for someone who runs at a competitive pace. I love watching my cardio fitness score change and keeping an eye on my resting heart rate overnight. Apple has a ton of 3rd party apps which are great, but it lacks the complete integration of the fitbit. I haven't decided which one I will be keeping yet, but if I were basing my decision on fitness alone, at a non competitive level, I would choose the fitbit hands down. There are other useful features that make the Apple watch appealing in my line of work, so I'll have to weigh those into my decision. The apple watch doesn't have the same coolness factor with regard to fitness, and really doesn't motivate me to workout anymore than my iPhone would. It is perfect for someone who doesn't care about tracking fitness goals, but wants to leave their phone at home during a workout. The ability to stream music, track distance with a built in GPS, and respond to text messages are wonderful. I have a 7 inch wrist and the large band fits me on the last 2-4 holes (keep it loose when not working out)."
"As a Blaze and original Charge HR owner, figured I'd try my hand at the newest Fitbit Charge 2. It replaces the original best selling Charge & Charge HR. Steps, Flights, Heart Rate, Calories Burned, Connected GPS (shows a little map post workout when tied to your phone, and yes, you need to bring your phone with you on walks/runs), and notifications (as of now, just texts, calendar alerts, and displays phone number of incoming calls). The Charge watch has been the workhorse of the fitbit line. Since you're familiar with the Charge already, let's go over some of the issues you may have experienced and highlights/common questions answered: 1) Build Quality: The Charge 2 is a far far superior quality than the original Charge. **If you had problems with your original Charge band bubbling, the ability to swap bands and how the tracker is connected to the bands should eliminate the issues you have experienced ** Obviously way too early to make a call on how the device will hold up, but given my experience with Blaze & Alta, this feels similar in build quality, if not better, and neither of those devices have suffered from bands falling apart on a wide scale. 5) Display is nice, 4x larger than the original Charge. The font is a bright offwhite, as opposed to the original Charge that had a soft almost blue to it. Some display day & date, and most have option to where when you tap the display it will cycle through stats (may display heart rate, date, steps taken, how far you are in your goals, your hourly movement reminders, etc). Yes, two of the watch faces are digital (numbers display, not hands) and have seconds displayed. There is no 3rd party support at this time such as facebook, instagram, etc (The Blaze watch will be offering these soon in next software upgrade, so I guess there is hope the Charge 2 will get those as well). Heart rate was spot on as it usually was with original Charge HR & my Blaze. Obviously some folks have trouble with them due to body hair and whatnot, but the sensors on Charge HR, Blaze, and now Charge 2 seem to be spot on. An issue I had with the original Charge was it getting "lost" when I hit higher cardio levels. CONS: - vibration is notably weaker than the original Charge. The Charge HR slowly scrolls texts and notifications to you, which can be annoying if you're used to the Blaze. They serve their purpose well though, and I can't ding it for this as it's a step up from the original Charge. The Blaze is their high end product at the moment, but the Charge 2 is a very close second. I'll happily answer questions as I did for when I originally reviewed the Blaze out of the gate, and edit this review to reflect common questions or any issues I face as I put the device through its paces in the coming days."

Hydro Flask Double Wall Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Leak Proof Sports Water Bottle, Wide Mouth with BPA Free Flex Cap
Hydro Flask's insulated water bottles are made of high quality food grade 18/8 stainless steel. Fresh Carry System cap design seals tight to hold carbonation.
Reviews
"Originally, I couldn't justify spending this absurd amount of $ on a water bottle. But then he spent all day out in 90+ degree weather and came back incredibly enthusiastic, going on & on & on about how amazing it is. So I got another one for my teenager, who needed a water bottle, but doesn't pay much attention to mundane things like this. Even the straw lid (bought separately) is constructed so that it is much easier to clean than, say, a Camelbak. Flip top lid is also easy to use & clean, but the company warns that it is not watertight, and it definitely isn't - bottle must be kept upright, or it spills. 8) No BPAs (in case, after we've all been using them for years, "they" decide that HDPE 2 or other plastics aren't safe, after all.). (Ok, vacuum bottle - you can put other stuff in, but still...). 2) The screw on cap works great, but is not so convenient. The 40 oz is also quite tall; it overbalances in pockets made for water bottles (e.g. on all our backpacks. If you're drinking in a library, people will notice ;-). I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a great water bottle."
"I'm wonder if there is different models or something I've shared photos I took off from Amazon... my original hydro flask has the logo that isn't filled in where all three new ones I bought have the all white filled in logo... is there different versions or what!?!"
"Finally, a vacuum insulated bottle larger than 24oz."
"I can get easily 80-120 ozs a day with this bottle because it keeps the water cold, has no plastic taste and it takes a beating."
"The bottle is very well made and does not disappoint whatsoever it keeps water cold forever and I mean that."
"BEWARE I don't think these are all authentic."
"Briefly looked at the lifetime warranty on Hydro Flask's website but it was very cold and distant, like you were disturbing them with the disservice of being on the defective end of their product."

Reviews
"Mind you, I was a bit skeptical at the price, but in the end, I locked and loaded on this one and am very happy. Aside from putting one bolt in backwards (kids could have bonked their head on it so just turned it around) it all worked out nicely. I recorded a couple of videos which shows you how the back board sits right on the pole. If you have a limited budget and / or you just want something for goofing around, or for little kids who have an interest in Bball, really I can't find any faults."
"It is also easy to move the net up and down, I have an 8 and 4 year old so when they are both playing we can switch the heights quickly and easily."
"The product is okay for what you are paying."
"pain in the.... To set up, but worth the smile on my daughters face!"
"If you are not handy, then you will need to find someone who is to help you assemble the hoop."
"Love the hoop - wish it was easier/more convenient to adjust the height of the hoop!"
"Missing two stars only because package came incomplete due to the box arriving open, missing the two wheels to move the system around."
"Sections where top and bottom met cracked/split."

"Love this!"
"I love my band I bought this in 2 colors."
"I really love the way this band looks."
"(I lost a similar Misfit tracker and band with a different kind of attachment.)."
"It is very thin and flexible, which makes it much more comfortable than the thick silicone band that the Fitbit came with."
"It looks really good, it fits very well (even my super small wrists). And, I'm allergic to everything, but no reaction from this even if I wear it days in a row."
"The only think I really don't care for is the fact that things stick to it when I get close, like forks, spoons or anything magnetic."
"I really can't give a great review, but it's just a personal preference, I have an immune disorder and so the band bothers me because of the magnetic band it is heavy, I order the large and it's way too big, but my husband has the Hargett 2 fit bit and he can use the band for dress so I don’t have to return it."

"Recommend purchasing with mat (ROOF CARGO BAG PROTECTIVE MAT for Car Roof Storage Bags with EXTRA PADDING and GRIP Place the car roof mat under any rooftop cargo bag TOP UNIVERSAL ROOF RACK PAD for PROTECTION from Car Roof Racks. * Really is WATERPROOF. * Car handling/gas mileage - May affect car's handling and gas mileage. When I was driving, it felt to me as though, particularly at high speeds or in high winds, the cartop carrier was affecting handling. This would be true of anything you put on top of your car, but maybe the sleeker hardtop carriers are more aerodynamic?"
"I would say our trip probably put this Keeper to the ultimate test and it passed all without a single scratch. The first obstacle for our Keeper was that our Mazda3 does NOT have sidebars or any rooftop rails, nor did I install any removable or inflatable crossbars. Getting things soaked didn't really bother us since the clothes were all vacuumed sealed but we were worried that water might add extra weight if it's trapped inside. The ONE little inconvenience we had was that water would occasionally drip into the car when it rained very hard because the straps were linked into the vehicle, but that's only because we didn't have sidebars or rails to tie it."

Reviews
"Minutes after I installed it, I set off on a 35-mile ride north of San Francisco and was blown away by how much more helpful turn-by-turn cycling directions are when you can actually see the map."
"I was a little dubious at first but this thing really works, it clamps tight on the stem of my fat bike and the adjustable phone clamp grabs my wide 5.5 inch phone in place, the last piece is the stretchy orange rubber bands that wrap around the corner of your phone."
"This is a very versatile mount for holding your device while you ride your bike."
"My phone has stayed on through some bumpy bits of trail and the occasional bunny hop on my cyclocross bike which does not have shocks. Side note: I forgot to bring lights for a night rise and I was able to use my phone's flashlight with this mount to give me some light for the trail and to make myself known to traffic."
"It does work well and pretty securely clamps the phone in place."
"There is a small rubber insert inside the mount designed to help it fit snugly around bars, they should use a different type of rubber because the kind they use slips a little unless you crank down really, really hard."
"The only down side and the reason I’m not using it anymore is the rubber strap slides between the components and causes the mount to go into “swivel” mode."
"Other then that it will hold a phone well in a slim case."

HurryCane Freedom Edition Folding Cane with T Handle, Original Black
To find the perfect fit that will provide lasting comfort, adjust the cane height between 30.5" to 37.5" by simply pushing the button located on the handle. Cutting-edge, patented technology allows the HurryCane, the #1 selling cane in America, to feel like a seamless extension of the body.
Reviews
"The HurryCane is my favorite, all-purpose cane because it is comfortable to grip, lightweight, pivots to make walking more natural, and will stand on its own, with careful placement on select flooring. With careful placement, it will stand on level surfaces, such as wood floors and flat tile, but sometimes it still falls over in this setting. However, the ability to have the HurryCane stand alone allows you to use both hands for something else (like finding that item at the bottom of your purse). My husband calls it my "Ninja cane," because of the way it folds and unfolds, so it has added a little humor to life as well. Basic cane (shown on left in picture): this was issued by the hospital a few years ago as I was getting out of a wheelchair after pelvic fractures. Overall, unless you need an added feature like the light, storage, or sit-to-stand assistance, I recommend that you spend your money on the HurryCane. Unlike the HurryCane, the quad cane will stand alone on gravel and in the grass, although it occasionally falls over if I place it on an incline."
"I had to use that because my balance was poor and I needed the support from this type of cane. If a cane were set on a large acorn or a pine cone it would roll & you may lose your balance. I also recommended they have a clamping device on the cane to hold it in the folded position. The Freedom Edition HurryCane has feet attached more securely and they implemented my clamping device idea. It is lighter, and it folds easier When I send their customer support a message they usually get back to me the same day! Another example of how committed to customer satisfaction they are is they asked me if I knew of anyone who would benefit from having a HurryCane. I told them I have a friend named Floyd who I felt would greatly benefit from a HurryCane. I know this has been a long review but I wanted to make sure I tell you about the fantastic features this All-Terrain Cane has. The other mechanical problem I had with it was the pin that is used to set the height was sheered off on day. When I checked my email Monday morning two associates with HurryCane had apologized profusely for what happened & they told me that they had already addressed the issue with that pin. I'm only telling you that if you want one that is guaranteed to work exactly like it is described you should buy it directly from the HurryCane company."
"I really like it so much more than my regular quad cane BUT there are some thing you need to be aware of before you buy the advantages of the cane outweighed the disadvantages for me but judge for yourself. Here you go: 1: The base of the cane is a bit smaller than the regular quad cane and for me it has a harder time sanding on its own, it falls frequently. No more struggling to get the cane in the car or walking without the cane to the backseat to get the cane you just get in fold it up and put it in you floorboard or even in the handy carry case it came with."

Fluke 87V/E2 Industrial Electrician Combo Kit
Since its founding in 1948, Fluke has helped define and grow a unique technology market, providing testing and troubleshooting capabilities that have grown to mission critical status in manufacturing and service industries. Maximum resistance of 50 MΩ and a maximum capacitance of 9,999 μF.
Reviews
"Fluke's reputation for accuracy and ruggedness is legendary, and this meter is every bit as capable as the model 179 it replaced - with some noteworthy features added. The relative function, expanded display resolution, and temperature probe are all helpful in pinning down intermittents. Tested well within published specs when compared to 2 other DMM's, a function generator, tray of precision resistors, and several different capacitors. Handy for finding leaky PS filters, funky varactors, and borderline chip caps. You can't go wrong with any of their meters, but if you're planning to expand your hobby or upgrade your bench, give this model a look."
"Great tool for those that do electrical work."
"No time to write the 87 reasons why I like this meter."
"This is a great meter."
"I am not an expert, I only use multimeters for my hobby projects as my profession is not related to electronics, so I cannot say I really needed it, but I have got tired using cheap multimeters and felt I can afford better."
"Great meter love it could stand a few things such as Bluetooth but great USA built workhorse."
"Has true RMS, multiple ranges of resolution, relative zeroing, easy to use, rugged, and accurate."
"One of the best multimeters you can buy."
