Find Best Price at Amazon"You simply install the battery into the transmitter, wipe the outside of it and attach It, with the sticky provided, next to your front door then plug the receiver into the wall and that’s it. While I do recommend that you plug the receiver as close to the transmitter as possible I plugged the 2nd receiver in my bedroom which is some distance from the transmitter and I can hear it ring when I am in the bedroom, it is not quite as loud as the other one but I can hear it clearly."
"Press it multiple times to pick the audio level of your choice (do it while the bell is plugged to a power outlet). Anyhow, in order to place the battery correctly, you need to press the extruded plastic piece coming out of the switch INWARD and then use a sharp object to pry it open when you see a little gap open up in between the plastic parts. When it comes to the radio of frequency every time I pressed the switch both bells would ring."

I then disassembled my old doorbell and installed the two existing wires to the back of the Ring 2 circuit board. Although the video stated that it did not matter which wire attached to either screw on the back of the circuit board, in my case it did. I then mounted the Ring 2 to my door frame with the 4 provided screws, and made sure everything was level. Once mounted, I adjusted the motion sensor zones and live view settings via the Ring app on my iPhone. I got the notification instantly, connected via the Ring app, and was able to talk and hear her perfectly."

Few minutes later I could not shake that something was off, so I reviewed the entire video footage - Ring captures motion so I was able to see what he did prior to ringing the doorbell. This guy was wearing a hoodie so he covered his hands, looked through my front door window for a good 5+ seconds, then started to check the door to see if perhaps it was open, before deciding to ring the doorbell... all with his hands covered. I shared my Ring video with them and they said it was the cleanest video they had seen in some time. I've had the ring doorbell since September 2016 and this was the first and only time something odd/suspicious was captured and, to say the least, it works!!! Ring initially was recording very poorly and sometimes would not capture video properly if at all. My Ring doorbell went offline and it took me who knows how long to realize it."

Having 2 receivers allowed me to place them in multiple areas of the house so if I'm on the 3rd floor, I could hear it, etc. Distance, I have about 80-90 feet from the transmitter to the receiver thru brick exterior wall and up a level. I like the clean look with the blue indicator light. Some things you should be aware (which is why I only gave it 4 stars). 3 prong, doesn't allow you to rotate the receiver i.e. have one on the bottom of an outlet, the other on the top. On the loudest setting, a lot of the tones were distorted. Wish the 2 transmitter, one receiver unit allowed for 2 separate tunes, that would of been the ideal combination."
