"Somewhere I found a post from Top Greener Customer Service reps to call them at 1.714.569.9988 (8-5:30 PST) or email them at support@topgreener.com if you had problems or questions. They arrived along with a email detailing me that the new ones were tested on different devices getting results higher then 1.0, namely 1.2A, 1.4A,1.7A, 2.0A, 2.35A or 2.40A which I was able to verify with my own USB tester. Additionally, the reason I bought these was because my iPhone 5S's were causing random lock ups with the Leviton's T5632 model that you can read about all over the internet. I WOULD highly recommend calling TOPGREENER to make sure you getting one from the good batch and it will charge your device quickly! Here's a amazon link to a similar USB tester which are invaluable as you can also test your charging cables."
"You do not wrap the wire around the screw nor push the wire in and hope that the gauge is appropriate for whatever spring mechanism is in there - you push the wire in and then tighten the hidden clamp. The screws of the hot wire will still be hot, but it's better than having an extra wire wrapped around it, making it protrude more and be more likely to come within striking distance of the uninsulated ground wire when everything gets crammed back in the wall."
"This outlet was really easy to install."
"Great Product."
"I had deep boxes which just needed a bit of push and shove to get the receptacle flush with the wall, and it finally fit OK. One last thing - if you are using wall warts, they could cover up part or some of the USB connectors."
"The manufacturer assumes there is only one wire terminating at the ground rather than a continuous wire coming through the box and wrapping around post. Had to cut wire and piggy tail a ground wire to post."

"While the official line is to not use any extension cord with the Tesla UMC/EVSE for charging the Model S, I'm concerned that there will be a time that the 18' cord just won't be long enough."

"My 2006 Cherokee 5th wheel toy hauler ( cheaply made piece of junk) didn't come with a cord-- just a socket and a short adapter and a 'normal' outdoor electrical cord got warm and would not run the A/C."

"These have served the last 8 months in my boys' bedroom as a means for Mom or Dad to turn their reading lights off when it's bedtime and in that role they've actually been fairly useful. The solder trace on the back side of the board that connects what looks like a thermal switch to one end of the relay blew completely apart leaving a metallic deposit on the plastic housing."
"I use them in my livingroom for some lamps. The lamps have shades and the switch it all the way up under the shade so I would always end up knocking the shade and then I have to fix a crooked shade."
"The remote is so simple (just an on/off switch by each of the three numbers) and easy to use!"
"If the remote was a little more fancy and tougher this would be the coolest thing i have."
"The outlet for the tree is under a table and the outlet for the garland is in the back of our storage loft."
"We put picture frame command strips on the remotes and hang them by the entry into the room so we can press the button as we walk in or take it off the wall to bring to couch with us."

Wemo Insight Smart Plug, Wi-Fi Enabled, Control Your Lights, Appliances and Manage Energy Costs From Your Phone, Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant
Plug in a Wemo Insight Smart Plug, download the Wemo app, and control your lights and appliances right from your phone and even your voice through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Nest’s “home” and “away” modes sync with Wemo Insight for automatic control.
Reviews
"This light switch and the other outlet style plug has worked reliably for over 3 years. However, you are at the mercy of your internet connection and if you happen to be away while the network crashes, you won't be able to communicate with the switches. They do support security password keys, but if you want an extra layer of protection, turn on your router/basestation's MAC address control to enable only recognized and authorized devices access to your wireless network. IFTTT will integrate all the functionality of your smart devices with WEMO and ALEXA (NEST and others too). The GPS in a smart phone can be used to create an invisible fence that can turn WEMO switches on/off as you pass in/out of its perimeter."
"After receiving two defective units from Amazon, and before returning the second, I decided to play around with it more and do some more research online. I spent over an hour with WeMo tech support, who offered no solutions, and made me jump through a bunch of hoops in the process. The issue with these early units lies in the fact that they seem to get "confused" if you have other WeMo devices in your home. So long story short, if you have other WeMo devices in your household, and have trouble getting this WeMo mini to connect, try unplugging as many of the other devices as you can (they will automatically reconnect online after you plug them back in), factory reset the mini, and go through the setup process again."

Reviews
"I solved this by marking each unit with a black marker in large numerals. With a little less attention to styling, and more to functionality, the manufacturer could have easily solved this problem."
"These remote control outlets are fantastic! Even though these things work even better than expected, I'm knocking off one point for the two cons below (neither of which is a huge deal, just a little inconvenient): Cons: - These remote control outlets are just a little too big, so if the other plug you are trying to fit in a shared wall outlet is anything other than just a simple plug, it won't fit."
"Although it is possible that I received a different or updated model, I thought I should correct, or rebut, some of the misinformation that I read in other reviews. In another case, I had a three pronged plug that I was using in the spare outlet, which had to be relocated, as it would not fit after installing the remote switch. But, very easy to just add the remote switch into a short extension chord, and the problem is solved. After the Holidays, most of these units will be relocated to my basement workshop where they will be subject to much higher loads and more demanding use. I will use one on a dust collector (about 12 amps draw), one on a vacuum, and even one on a strobe light so my wife can summon me if she needs to, without me cutting my hand off if she yells at me to come to dinner. So now my wife just hits a button upstairs and my strobe light in the basement lets me know she needs me to come up!"
"Additionally beyond that, the remain 4 that were functional out of the first set have been cycling daily (via RPi) for about 4 months now."
"When you plug your appliance into the Etekcity outlet, in this case a lamp, into the front of the Etekcity outlet, the Etekcity body will either cover the top wall outlet when plugged into the bottom of the wall outlet. Or, if you plug the Etekcity Outlet into the top wall outlet you may find it difficult to use the bottom wall outlet if you were to want to use the bottom outlet for something like a Vacuum Cleaner or any other appliance that has a large plug."

Sensi Smart Thermostat, Wi-Fi, UP500W, Works with Amazon Alexa
Designed to work with the wires you already have, Sensi thermostat does not require a common wire (c-wire) in many cases, so it is compatible with most heating and cooling systems* (U.S. and Canada only). Set your Sensi thermostat to automatically adjust your homes temperature for location-based temperature control with geofencing, or quickly create a 7-day schedule to reduce wasteful heating and cooling when no one is home. Integrates with Amazon Alexa for voice control and Wink smart home platforms, and works with Google Assistant and Google Home using the free Wink app.
Reviews
"In my research I learned that my primary complaint the Nest - that the temperature swing was too wide - was addressed by Sensi's "cycle rate" setting. Nest's no-button design is cool, but using a thermostat is not a lecture in UX minimalism, and black-and-chrome doesn't really disappear into the background of my home (white trim and all). Granted, we didn't also install a second Nest to have more temperature sensors, and we didn't buy their $200 talking smoke detectors which also report environmental statistics back to the thermostat. Most people won't care about this but being a network security engineer, I'm impressed that the thermostat has exactly 0 open TCP ports, outbound communication is with one IP, and total traffic is very modest."
"--. I had been wanting to get a WiFi Thermostat for a long time now, but I held off because I was worried that I would buy one that wouldn't be compatible with my home or that I wouldn't be able to figure out how to install it. You select the wires that your current thermostat has, and then the app tells you what to label them and where they will go in the new thermostat. I had never replaced a thermostat before, and it took me under 30 minutes (which includes unboxing, looking for screwdriver, looking for AC unit shut off switch, watching how-to videos included with the app, etc). The app is handy because it also tells you your local Hi and Low temps from the forecast as well as the humidity in your home, upcoming schedule, set temp, actual temp, and the background is either blue, red, or grey depending on if your system is on Cool, Heat, or off at the moment. The only thing this is missing is a few more advanced options for the app, such as specific alerts (like if the temperature is changed manually, I would like to be able to get an instant alert on my phone) and an air filter change reminder that can be set for a certain amount of time (like 1, 2, or 3 months)."

Howard Leight by Honeywell Impact Sport Sound Amplification Electronic Shooting Earmuff, Classic Green (R-01526)
Features low profile earcups for firearm stock clearance; adjustable headband for secure fit; compact folding design for convenient storage; classic green color.
Reviews
"There is a reason these Howard Leight Impact Sport muffs are probably the most popular model of their type on the market -- they're dirt cheap and work very well. We're also big into the night vision world, so I was pleasantly surprised when the Team Wendy ComTac headset adapters worked with these muffs almost PERFECTLY (see photos I've attached to this review). They Howard Leights -- in our extensive experience -- are: MORE durable, MORE comfortable, have MUCH better battery installation, LOOK better, FEEL like they're higher quality, PERFORM better, and now that we've discovered they can use the Peltor helmet mount adapters, there is simply NO reason to ever get another set of the cheap Peltors."
"feel free to Check my references, I am a 15 year veteran of Live sound and own a recording studio in Maui. [...]. I am a Life member of the NRA and a member of the Valley Isle Sport shooters."
"It's been mentioned in one or two other reviews but I would like to emphasize that this earmuff is for outdoor shooting ranges or other unenclosed areas."
"You can thank 12 years of awful grocery store music (you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy) incessant ad/jingles or other unpleasant noises when exposed to the public."
"On the plus side, the low-noise sound amplification was excellent, allowing me to hear a conversation upstairs at my home, so hunting in the woods, these would be great to have."
