"I've had Moen faucets in my house since I moved in 12 years ago, and they've worked great the whole time. - Installation will be easier if there are two people because there's nothing to keep the faucet from falling over before the retaining nut is tightened from the bottom. Also, because there are no features to set the clocking of the handle, and because tightening the retaining nut will cause the fixture to spin, having a second person to hold it in place would be helpful. After buying and installing this faucet, I was given the amazing privilege of being able to try out the Motionsense version in chrome, the Moen 7594EC, as part of the Vine program."
"Three months ago, I shopped around and settled on a Moen 7594SRS Arbor, which is the non-Motionsense version of this faucet in spot resistance stainless. I picked the sensorless version over the Motionsense version for three main reasons: (1) it was my first faucet installation and it looked less complicated to install, (2) it didn't have electronic sensors and a solenoid that could break down, and (3) it cost about $150 less. The video is mostly intended to show off the faucet and some of the features, as well as show the sensors working. A couple of nits with the Motionsense models: (*) The temperature control for water dispensed using the sensors is located on the control box under the sink. While it is more complicated than the install for the version without sensors, it's essentially one added step of mounting the control box and plugging in a few more hoses. It's great that the water flow controlled by the handle doesn't require the electronics in the control box. ----------------------------------------------------------. Here are two things that I didn't see/notice on the product pages and didn't realize before getting both faucets: (*) The Motionsense model has a higher flow rate spout, being 2.2 GPM versus 1.5 GPM on the regular model. (*) The handle on the regular model can be located on the right side, left side, or anywhere in between. The Motionsense model is located on the right side only. I had the Moen faucet that came with my house for over 12 years before deciding to get something new (and it still worked fine), and I expect that I'll use this faucet for a long time. I did a video review of that model, too, which shows the Arbor and Brantford side by side."

"The first time I turned on the faucet and tested all the components, the retainer snapped off and sent water spraying all over my cabinet."
"It's a very nice looking faucet; good size, craftsmanship, features, handle. The rocker switch is a hard plastic, which is much more durable than the soft rubber types. It cleans easily and shows no signs of chipping, scratching, fading, etc. Issue: at 2 1/2 years, we started noticing black specs in the water. I called Delta and they were really helpful; it's a known problem and supposedly not a safety/health concern. The hose braiding and connection near the head are totally different, and I suspect the slight increase in the height of the fitting is what keeps the back side from sticking as well as before."
"A few suggested silicone grease, which I would be concerned may collect dirt and gunk up on the hose and within the faucet arm (where you can’t easily clean) after some time. To lubricate, I laid the fixture assembly in our laundry tub to catch overspray, pulled the hose ALMOST all the way through the fixture assembly, sprayed it on the exposed hose and wiped it around with my hand, let it dry/soak in for a while, and gently wiped with a paper towel to remove any excess. I've also installed plastic shower rod covers over our wood hanger rods in our closets, coating with the silicone spray, air drying for some time, and wiping them prior to install. One thing that concerns me about the sprayer hose is that there is no brake to keep the hose from being pulled out so far that it would stress the rigid plastic junction where the vulnerable rigid plastic clip is installed. We have some extra weights around here from other fixtures such as the Moen I just removed, and on those fixtures they were affixed to an appropriate point along the hose in order to prevent excessive hose withdrawal. The main thing that concerns me about the sprayer hose is the precarious way that the hose assembly attaches to the faucet assembly, held in place by a rigid plastic clip. In fact, in attempting to replicate Mr. Mojo’s solution, the zip ties, when installed per his photo, actually dislodged the clip from the hose junction as I tightened the zip ties at the specified locations– the clip was left hanging in place but the junction was no longer secured."
"We had previously purchased another faucet from another mfg (expensive and poor quality)."

"I bought this one because it requires very little clearance behind (1.5" from center of hole) AND the handle does not move backwards at all - a necessity in my situation because of a window shelf behind the faucet. If you hold a dirty plate 6 inches below the faucet and turn it on, you may well end up with food on you or all around the sink if the last person left it on spray."
"Immediately on unboxing I noticed the cover for the temperature indicator had fallen out and the electrical wire seemed to be damaged so it had to be returned."
"This replaced a cheaper faucet that didn't have the magnetic lock which constantly drooped."
"I would rate higher if the cold/warm (blue/red) dots were visible in all positions of the handle."
"When I first installed it, I was not thrilled with the "touch" part of it."
"This is a replacement for a Kohler pull down faucet."
"I examined it and found that the plastic interior piece had come adrift from the metal outer part and this was allowing it to wobble so badly that I had to remove it since I was worried that it might spring a leak."
"If I rotate the shower bottom to rear, it is same~. My drop in sink is Elkay regular type which is sold Menards or Lowes."

"It's an easy thing to miss, and the regular customer who isnt buying faucets all the time won't know the difference, unless someone tells them."
"Chose this smaller version for the galley kitchen in my condo because I thought the other would spray past the sink."
"We love this faucet."

"I was going to order this but decided to call Moen first to make sure I had the right part."
"But just like the attached photo of Moens original hose, this is a cheap piece of garbage. I'm writing this comment to make people aware of what Moen does for a hose and what you can expect from this one. Bottom line, this hose works so far, but stay away from Moen when buy new fixtures."
"I haven't been impressed with the service life of this part of the Moen kitchen faucet. The failed hoses always seem to fail near the faucet head although we put very little stress on it when using the retractable feature (i.e. we seldom pull the thing out more than 6 inches and purposely try to avoid bending it)."
"Product is good but be sure this is the right hose for your faucet."
"I have a Moen Arbor pulldown faucet in the kitchen that I have had for four years that was professionally installed and it has worked reliably with no issues or leaks until recently when the pull down hose started spraying water everywhere. I was initially concerned about the warranty since this was part of an upgrade on a home purchase but after contacting Moen and sending pictures of the faucet and the leaking hose, they shipped a replacement with no questions asked. Considering the Moen Arbor faucet is expensive (over 200 dollars without motion sense), I was really surprised how poor the quality is of the original hose and this particular replacement."
"Now the replacement hose is leaking from under the chrome shroud, where the braided hose disappears."

"For those of you that are unsure about buying a sink with barely any reviews: I did a lot of research on a sink in this price range and narrowed down my options to this Kraus and a zero-radius Vigo VG3219C (with the strainer and bottom grid as well). Both were very close in price I couldn't pick one from only looking online and reading the handful of reviews, so I ordered both (so I could touch them sinks for reals). Both sinks arrived the same day (Vigo ordered from Home Cheapo). The box is air tight and made of that incredibly durable, thick cardboard, and everything is padded like crazy inside with styrofoam and the sink itself comes in a canvas bag. Looks: Kraus (10 out of 10): This sink has small radius corners and those grooves that go towards the drain, I know you are attracted to that style. Here's the deets: Kraus (8 out of 10): It feels very close to those expensive sinks. It appeared that someone had already opened it up (I blame this on Home Cheapo for passing it off as a new item, I doubt they sent it back to Vigo to repackage). didn't even go all the way up to the top in one corner, so there was literally a hole in the sink (speaks to their quality control). Sound-deadening material: Kraus (10 out of 10): Most, if not all, of the stainless steel sinks I have seen, have the entire underside coated with a hardened foam. This was applied thicker on the Kraus compared to most other stainless steel sinks I have seen (at all price points). We have been using the bottom grate and the sink still looks as good as the day we bought it."
"When our kitchen remodel had gone over it's $40k budget due to some unforeseen aditional issues we had to try to make our money count but without ruining the end goal so we decided to take a chance on this sink because of the good reviews, and the specs."
"The main reason I bought this particular sink was it was the only sink of this size I found that was reviewed to fit into a 30" IKEA sink cabinet."
"I wanted this sink because the grid was included, but because it scratches anyway and has to be removed to properly clean the sink anyway, so I'm not sure it was the right choice."

"I had been searching for a dual spray aerator for my bathroom faucet, which didn't detract from the modern style of the bathroom."
"If it were more of a teardrop shape (from the top) so your fingers had something to push against it would be a little easier, but I don't change from stream to spray very often, and it's not that hard really."
"Pros: -Strong stream. -Even spray. -Easy to switch spray styles. -Swivels very easily. Cons: None that I've found yet."
"Have tried a variety where one pulls it for spray, pushes for aerated flow: This one's better."
"I am very impressed with this product."
"Still a huge improvement, and the models that can tilt more are generally much bigger and have lots plastic."
"This attachment compliments my Delta high arc faucet very nicely."
"The spray is very strong so I usually use the regular flow."

"This is true ONLY if using a flat lipped SS sink, and even then the rubber seal is optional as opposed to the putty (you can use only one, the putty or the seal with a SS sink, but not both). It's better said that you WILL need plumber's putty, and if you have a stainless steel sink, you have the option to use the thin rubber gasket (I'd use plumber's putty)."
"Update: As an aside, I also learned from my research that the best way to clean my disposal is to use citric acid. Having previously had no idea what citric acid was used for, I decided to order some from Amazon, going with the brand my sister uses: Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz) and gave it a whirl after 3 months of using my disposal. I let the citric acid sit with some water in the disposal for about ten minutes, and then I let it run for a solid 2 minutes."
"The immediate issues I have with this product is the plastic connections and the sound of the motor. This is the first disposal that has had plastic connecting the disposal to the sink."
"All I needed to do was to install the new fitting for the sink and take apart the p-trap to make it slide over the outlet tube (I needed to trim that tube to the same length as the one from the Badger)."

"The special water supply connector to the heater is attached to the faucet/dispenser hose. My older cabinets needed new 1/2 ply on the insides for mounting. It will work with any 1/4 inch line filter system, including R/O. Mine has not a drip even with all the 1/4 inch lines for the filter system. If you are concerned about leaking, put a small pan under the heater and use a $10 water alarm."
"Replacing the old one was "plug and play" although the old water filter is a different size from the new water filter, and the way it was installed under my sink doesn't leave room for the new style of filter, so I just put that aside for now."
"When I think of all the time and energy I wasted over the years heating the water in a kettle repeatedly throughout the day, I want to cry."
"One of the few on-demand hot water systems that don't require 240-volt electrical supplies."
"Since we were replacing a Franke cold only unit this is not an improvement.... in fact we wasted a day installing a pretty faucet with a defective heater."
"When we called InSink they told us we would need to purchase this adapter."
"Product info does not mention the following: This product needs an InSinkErator proprietary part to hook up to a Hot Water Dispenser not made by InSinkErator."
"I had a couple of problems with the original unit even before it leaked so I wasn't thrilled about getting the same type of dispenser, but figured I'd just replace the tank so that I wouldn't have replace the entire thing, including the faucet."
