"The range providers superb control over the flame height in all of the burners. Overall, this range's ability to deliver a consistent distribution and height of flame along with the oven's consistency with how it cooks food on particular settings makes it one of the most delightful ranges I've ever had the pleasure of cooking on."
"Update 7/26/16: Ran it's first self clean cycle (we rarely use the oven itself), and the display won't turn on. It's not really practical to clean burned on food with oil, and sometimes you just have to get out a green scrubby and some barkeepers friend. The only issue I've had with it is the front right burner can sometimes be finicky to light, but it doesn't bother me enough to get it fixed. In my past career, I was a professional chef in elite restaurants, so I have certain expectations with ranges. After much research, and flat out refusal to buy a Wolf, I settled on this for dimension and BTU reasons. I let the grill portion heat up for at least 15 minutes on high and some meat barely sizzled when I applied it. I worry about scratching in the future as I wipe down ranges immediately after use, and that could add to some wear. I might just be excited because I'm back to gas after almost a year of electric coil, but I would even consider replacing my Wolf with it if it came down to that."
"The only cons: the stainless is hard to clean, the grills are super heavy, and the range has black sides (which only show a little bit when installed)."
"Have been using this range at least once a day for the last 3+ months and we are completely pleased!"
"Easy to clean, simple input interface, and looks nice."
"I am enjoying it very much."
"Love my stove!"
"The first set of knobs were breaking away from the metal heavy weight where the screws attach, then next set crack in the center where the knobs slide onto the gas valve controls. Once the knobs crack, it's virtually impossible to control the gas as the metal insert spins around inside. Keep a pair of pliers handy to turn off the gas once all of your knobs crack and you want to cook or turn off your gas."

"Lots of great features."
"Good range."
"I really wanted to love this range and had such high hopes, but sadly after a few months things went downhill and I've encountered a number of problems as follows: both the upper and lower ovens cannot maintain the set degrees...e.g., I set the oven at 350, but according to my freestanding oven thermometer (which the service technician verified), the oven runs either at 550 (lots of burned food) or 275 (undercooked food)...very frustrating. At this point, I'm sick of Samsung, sick of the various technicians (some were wonderful, others told me that it's "normal" for a 350 oven to run at 550, and it's "normal" to have to jiggle the range knobs to keep the burners on "high"), and sick that I spent almost $2k on a range that continues to disappoint."
"I tapped it on the side sliding a pot during Thanksgiving dinner and it cracked all the way across the rear corner. Which is rare, the repairman told me, when the glass cracks, it is mostly at the corner. Note that my old GE stove, with a ceramic top, banged around for 20 years never even suffered a dent. 2 weeks ago, the entire computer screen at the front went blank, meaning the oven part of the range, except for the stove top, is now completely useless. I hope this post will be read by even 1 customer before they purchase this worthless piece of crap. It is simply a money pit of parts going to Samsung in the future."
"They could not even locate where I was to recommend a repair."

"It's a real term). The push to release warming door is ok and some times needs to be done over and over. Speaking of the doors, let's talk about how easy the oven and warming drawer are to remove and clean. Heating a big stock pot to boil took less than half of the time my 25 year old range did at 10,000 btus per burner. So while the power is there, other smaller burners are quite capable and sensibly put in the back of the cook top. The quick and kind customer specialist looked high and low to find that it comes on only after it has pre heated completely. Luckily, the point of purchase discounted it, checked it with a Bosch technician, and offered me to return it with no issues on shipping. The Bosch tech rechecked everything (still good, even the lightbulb still worked after their aggressive straightening tactic) and I was in business. Installation was easy and only needed a few times to adjust the feet for the perfect look. This unit is incredibly heavy though so we opted to take the door off for this part and make the adjustments easier."
"This slide in range provides a sleek modern built-in look as it slides in slightly over your countertop edges. Additionally the sunken top provides a nice flush top that is only slightly higher than your countertop. The back has a nice cutout that accommodates your gas hookup and electrical cord allowing the range to mount nicely against the back wall."
"It's a very nice stove, the only thing is that it takes a while to warm up the oven to the right temperature, longer than any other ovens I've experienced."
"A qualification: although the flames look big and bright, there's less oomph than I've had in previous gas stoves -- in particular, bringing a pot of water back to a boil, after you've put stuff in it, doesn't happen as quickly as I'd like. I looked at other reviews online before buying, and they either praised how easy the stovetop was to clean, or complained. So it's actually easy to get gunk off (like washing out the sink), much easier than previous porcelain stovetops I've used. And during the outage the flames were uneven, which I suppose means that some gas flow regulator must be electronic. Here's what I saw when I followed up: I'm now the dubiously proud owner of an AC clamp, so I can see what the temperature inside is, in real time. The issue isn't the loudness, it's *what* noise it is: it sounds pretty much exactly like the wind whistling through the treetops, and is the soundtrack for ghost stories. You'll probably get used to it quickly, or at least I did, but if your eating area isn't separated from your kitchen, your dinner guests won't, and they'll find it really distracting. Turning to Installation issues: Other reviews I read before buying suggested that if your countertops are a little high, the feet will handle it. My counters are 37", and extending the feet far enough to accommodate that made them pop off when the installer tried to slide the stove in. The installer also noticed plastic shavings coming off the feet when they were turned, and was worried about damaging them by adjusting them further. In any case, here's my recommendation: if, after all this, you're still thinking about this range, don't decide until you've spent, say, a week cooking and baking with it... and if you can't find a friend or vendor who can put you in a position to do that, definitely, definitely hold off."

"I purchased this oven based on descent reviews but read a few that made me nervous. The design of this range looks great and is good quality. I had zero problems but I had a professional installer do the job so... maybe that helped? I have zero issues with the oven racks - again I'm not sure what happened for the other reviewer but they are pretty standard - I suppose if you misalign there could be a problem but that would happen in any oven."
"Absolutely LOVE this oven."
"Of course with the price of a Thermador or similar professional range all I could tell her was, "someday." This Thor Kitchen range does not seem to suffer that same loss of cooking power on LP fuel. Awesome job Thor Kitchen, thanks for finally figuring out that average households...with average income want that chunky professional looking range just like you find in home designer magazines!"
"TERRIBLE PRODUCT, WARNING DON"T BUY. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! For the money I paid for this range, I am deeply unsatisfied. The engineering and craftsmanship of this range is NOT worth the money. I give it one star because I expected better craftsmanship for the money I paid."
