"A couple of installation hints: It's a little awkward to assemble by oneself, but a great help was to spray WD-40 along the panel edges, which then slid easily into the center bracket. I know they recommend installing on masonry, but using 3" lag screws (you can't use a screwdriver, absolutely a socket wrench) after reinforcing the window frame trim seems to make it pretty solid. Addendum: I came back to rate this 5 stars - while last night's rainstorm wasn't as windy as predicted, there was a lot of rain with some noisy gusts and the awning held firm."
