"It is a hard plastic construction with what a lot of companies advertise as a 'soft touch' finish. 3 of these click crisply while 1 mushes and the other is super stiff and can barely be pushed down. The switch can be slowly rocked and you can feel exactly when the piece underneath moves to spring it in the opposite direction. It features the same soft touch material in an inset oval to guide your finger. I expected a smooth rolling marble, but this catches and becomes much harder to move periodically. This is just a wheel that you spin by catching your finger on the tiny bump on one edge. Overall, almost every single one of my gripes can be attributed to poor manufacturing and too large of tolerances. That being said, there are no sharp edges, flashing, or burrs anywhere on this, and is has yet to break or any single part to change in the way it works, so the manufacturing is within the acceptable range for this type of product."

The purpose of this product, or I should say, the "target consumer" are people who cant stand still or pay attention in class or meetings. My kids liked it anyway because when you press something into it you get an imprint - like, you know, you get with regular silly putty - only for significantly less money. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because I'm sure it has some unexplored scientific benefit, like bonding bulletproof cloth with silk or something."
