We used to practice walking around the cul-de-sac with a regular wooden walker, which I also liked because it was heavy and pretty well balance, but my daughter was always leaning forward to push it and her posture wasn't right to really practice walking. My daughter doesn't sit on the seat, but the little bit of a dip in the design keeps her button in line with her hips. In the last few days she's started to walk a bit and then sit on the seat when she needs a break. We are currently on the lowest seat setting and she is in 12-18 month clothes (to compare the size of your child)."

A screw driver helped me pry open certain areas, which maybe wasn't the best way to do it, but it worked. "A word to those of you who think you can use standard inline wheels like the Youtube videos and Instructables suggest...the width of the wheel wells for the back wheels are more narrow than the front wheels so if your inline skate wheel is too thick, it won't fit into the back wheel frame correctly - you can force it in, but the frame will squeeze both sides of the wheel and the wheel will not be able to turn smoothly."
