"They've turned it into a swing using cheap blankets, a little play house, a hiding spot, nap spot and just a place to hang upside down while watching 'toons. Isn't easy to assemble and you really need to leave it assembled because the fitting are pretty tight and you DON'T want the connections to loosen, so leaving it set up might be a problem for some."
"We have it set up in a basement playroom but it's labeled as being an outdoor jungle gym so I think it would do well in the backyard also. We just live in a very cold and snowy climate so I wanted to put it inside so my energetic kiddo could get some energy out during the long winters indoors. Besides just climbing on it and dropping down through the middle, he loves to throw a couple big blankets over the top and turn the whole thing in to a fort. My best suggestion is to BE SURE you're reading ALL the instructions before you snap stuff into place because it's really annoying to have to undo your work and start over. After the first 45 minutes or so I thought I was smart and knew what to do and ended up having to go back multiple times and undo a lot of work and finger pinching because I didn't read the instructions. This is especially true when it comes to laying out the bottom octagon correctly and then attaching the sides with THIS ANGLE UP point up. - The metal pieces inside the connects that you snap into place pop out all the time during set up. After a few times you'll be a pro at it and will be able to get it back into place quickly and easily with a flat head screwdriver. Between this, a mini trampoline and a slide and ceiling mounted swing in our playroom downstairs, our son really has fun and can get a lot of his energy out and meet his intense sensory needs."

The diagrams for the track layouts are a bit difficult to read, and the photos included in the manual are way too small to see all the details. I may order a few more red pieces from vtech's website (under "Customer Support", go to "Order replacement parts"): vtechkids.com. For those of you who have misplaced the manual, it's also online at the vtech's website (search for "go go train" and you will see a tab for downloading the manual PDF file)."
"As another reviewer wrote, there is a hill that requires you to hand crank - my son picked up on this pretty quickly and it has added that much more interest to his play. The way the the track configures you can choose to send the train up the hill or under the tunnel, so if your child can't hand crank yet, don't worry they can still use this toy and have time to grow into it. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 (really minimal in the scheme of things) is that the track configurations are kind of tricky. My only other complaint (again minimal, but the real reason for 4 stars) is that the track comes with a number of pieces open on 4 sides. The train can't use half of the route you see configured on the box because it would need 2 of these pieces to stay on the track."
