I think it was about $14 so if it didn't work out... well, I'd be annoyed about it, but it wouldn't be the worst thing... ive had my kiting dreams crushed many a time before. Normally our kiting experience is a little something like this: we go in with "HIGH hopes", we wait for the "right wind" (which definitely tests our patience) and I run around like an idiot that is continuously throwing and catching some crap-tastic piece of plastic, with intermissions of me untangling a messy spool of knotted string. My daughter is bummed that it doesnt fly and thats a wrap....as I say to myself, "please, please don't ask to play with this thing for another year!" I was planning to add this to her christmas gifts, but when it arrived I thought, "we live in ny. The rods are strong and stable, the material arrived and still is inntact... not made of plastic. And of course the little one was pumped about it being rainbow :). I want to take a second just to say thank you to this company, to the seller, and to anyone else who went into making/creating this oh-so-simple-to-fly kite. I never in a million years expected that spontaneous trip to the park to become such a meaningful day... who knew it could start with a good, sturdy kite!
