Find Best Price at Amazon"Thanks to the AAA batteries they were able to go with a slim, sleek design that stows away in a pocket/purse easily, yet is still fairly comfortable to play for long periods. If you need to open the case for deeper cleaning be aware that Nintendo has their own "Y"-shaped screw head. AAA are not as common as AA batteries but are compact and still easy enough to find in large packs. Neither system, however, completely isolates the battery compartment from the motherboard so if yours fell victim to leaky batteries you might need to open up the case to clean the contacts enough for it to boot again. COMPATIBILITY. This Game Boy, like the original Game Boy, is primarily meant to play black & white games (gray cartridge with a notch). The latter type tend to be see-through with a round bulge at the top so they are easy to differentiate from black & white-compatible games when you're buying used. Likewise, inquire about the battery cover if the listing does not state whether it comes with one. The battery cover sometimes jiggles and apparently got lost on a good number of Pockets, but most sellers that regularly deal with older systems seem to explicitly state whether it is present."
"With all that being said, the screen bows out because the replacement wasn’t flat and adhesive finally gave way and doesnt stick. $8 in replacement parts and a little tinkering and this device will looks as new as the day it was originally released in stores."
