"They have definitely improved many things like the item balance or if you fall off the race track, Lakitu fishes you out a lot faster compared to previous games. Game runs at a solid 60 fps, but when it is 3 or 4 player split-screen, the frame rate noticeable drops to 30 fps. Battle mode obviously had very little effort put in considering how you play on some of the race tracks (yes, the same race tracks you race on) that are barely modified. Btw, you should play battle mode with a large group of players; otherwise it turns into two people aimlessly wandering around a large empty race track trying to find each other. The 150cc AI would be a good start for what online play is like, considering my experience of the AI consisted of being shot at a lot and when I did get hit by the AI, every so often it would be multiple times in a row…. …which is nothing compared to how online play is like. I will admit that I have seen some pretty nasty moves that other players have pulled like people in lower places firing behind them a lot even though they are clearly in range of the racers ahead of them. I have ran into some instances where I was hit more times than the AI does in a single race."
"The music is fantastic, they updated some of the old songs from the previous games so some of them bring back great memories. I'm so focused on the road that I see flashes of cool stuff in the background but I'd love to really take the time to check it all out. The flying feature is new to me, there are times that you are launched in the air and you don't just get flung like in the Wii/Cube/N64 versions, now you have a glider that you can control...and it matters! This game is highly customizable, you can change the items available, the level of the CPUs, random tracks, this means you can tailor it to how you want to play. We spent 5 minutes looking for people to only see them blur by before being able to do real damage, the track was too tight to turn around and pursue easily. I do not like this change and only hope that Nintendo will release some battle arenas in an update, heck I'd pay for them in DLC."

"Within 20 minutes of playing I was in love with the visuals, mechanics, and gameplay and it became one of my favorite games. I'm trying hard to not write an entire article on how I feel about the game (plus I hate spoilers), so without getting into too much detail, here are some Pros and Cons. They can be sold for money or cooked into meals to restore hearts. - You can carry tons of food to eat whenever you want to replenish hearts and stamina (no more bottle limits). - Autosave system is super convenient. - Easy to switch between active quests and destinations. - Shrines range in difficulty from too easy (for experience Zelda players) to truly challenging. - There is no "one right way" to do something...you can defeat enemy camps by rolling rocks of hills, throwing and detonating bombs from hiding, sniping with your bow, or doing an all in rush attack with a swords, clubs, and other weapons.. You can ride your horse, climb up mountains, or glide from location to location. Cons: - Your horse can die. - Not as easy to place pins and stamps on map as I would have hoped (but it is still a neat feature). - Only one account (unless you switch the active Nintendo Account/user from the menu, then it MIGHT work...I've heard it does, but it's a little hard to go back and forth). - It was hard enough to come up with these three. I hated this before, but I love it now because it forces you to learn how to use lots of items and approach combat differently every time. For a long time Zelda fan, it is obvious that this game has totally changed the series."
"Now onto the Review: Like how 'Zelda Link Between Worlds' harken back to 'Zelda Link to the Past' in the 2D games, Zelda Breath of the Wild goes back to the open world design of the original Legend of Zelda (although technically not a 3D game). So for those who like more linear games and do not like to exploring or crafting then this game may be a bit off putting. Weapons are breakable in this game so you are not able to hold onto an attack item or shield for the duration of the game. There's a sense of wonder and discovery as you learn as you go instead of the game hand holding you through it. The 4 main dungeons does not have keys like in past Zelda games, instead you have to manipulate your surroundings to progress which is a nice change in the series and feels more life like/realistic. Overall very good game if you're the explorer type and like to learn game mechanics as you go."
"I bought this for my son's birthday, and he's thrilled with it."

Super Smash Bros. - Nintendo Wii U

"The Roster: Most characters are unlocked right from the beginning, which is a relief when you have kids who want to play as X but don't want to wait. Overall, the roster is much better than Brawl, with fewer clones and some of my favorites from new Nintendo games, like Shulk, Lucina, Palutena, and Robin. They're a little confusing and I had a hard time explaining the differences between Disney Infinity and Amiibo to my six year-old, but using them cleared things up. We bought four (Mario, Peach, Link, Samus) and I had one figure player team up with each of my kids so they can compete with me. The "Everything Else": The graphics are beautiful and smooth and it's amazing how Nintendo is able to mesh all of these characters into a game and it somehow make visual sense. They are even selling GameCube controllers, which I love, but deem unnecessary to buy unless you're married to Melee. Even my wife who doesn't game much and 2 year-old got kicks out of it (I teamed up with him along with the Link amiibo he picked out). I haven't even touched online yet, because I'm too busy punching my daughter's Jigglypuff in the face with Pac-man while we giggle maniacally every time a Nintendog licks the screen, and my son growls like Bowser as he throws my wife's King Dedede off a cliff."
"Haven't really gotten to all of the game features yet, but Online mode works, main mode works, options are good, graphics, sound, controller responsiveness is good, Classic mode is my favorite 1P mode so far, and the 'Event Match' stuff is actually... pretty hard... So, yeah, it has a wealth of 1-player options available as it is, but the fact remains that Super Smash Bros. is ultimately a multi-player game and the 1-player stuff is just to be inclusive; if I could just find someone to play Smash Tour or 2-player classic mode etc."
"This Super Smash game is great on the graphics and has tons of character options."

"I'd recommend it to families and kids especially who are looking for fun and innocent games to play, by themselves or with friends."
"The Nintendo land has some great mini games in it that we have fun for hours playing. To give you a perspective on who is playing our ages range from 24 to 16 playing and then sometimes my parents come over and play. There are a few games in Nintendo Land that are awesome with 5 people playing."
"We love how it can still play the original Wii games, and that you can choose to use the original Wii controllers (wiimotes, nunchuck, or classic game pad), or buy the new Will U remotes (which are just Wii remotes with the motion plus built in). In fact, if you have a kid with small hands you may want to consider keeping your classic game pad around (or buying one) as it's harder for younger hands to hold and use the GamePad as a controller for some games (like Skylanders), which is what you will be forced to use without an alternative."
"My children have a Wii at their father's and like the Wii U a lot more than the Wii, there is more to do...can play multi-player games (Nintendo Land) with one person using the game pad, doing different actions, then the other person(s) using remotes and the tv."
"I only play video games occasionally. My girlfriend can watch tv and if I get bored I can play the games without having to hog the screen."
"Even though I'm a PC gamer, I highly recommend the Wii U for fun with your actual friends."

"Tried to save a few bucks going with a third party distributor once, then I decided to buy a few of these brand new licensed remotes, this is definitely the way to go."
"Peach's color scheme: Light Pink: Front, wrist strap clamp. Pink/Magenta: Back, rubber sleeve, wrist strap, 1&2 buttons. Yellow: D-Pad. White: Peach Crown Logo, A button. Also, these Wii Remotes are region free! So just pop those in, and push the small red sync button on the back of the remote where the battery compartment is, as well as the sync button on the front of your Wii/Wii U. One other great thing, is unlike the older Wiimotes, the sync button can be pressed through the case and rubber sleeve, so you *don't* need to remove the sleeve or battery cover to sync the remote."
"While I still have my Wii and WiiU I only had one Wii remote to pass among the two consoles and yes while the WiiU doesn't actually need the remote unless you're playing wii games on it or using a specific wiiu game that requires it it wasn't really needed for the WiiU."
"The extra remote isn't necessary to have fun with the Wii, but it eliminates the need to pass one remote between two players."
"The rubber grip is awkward and seems to interfere with the sensor, but it's easily removed and not necessarily as the remote is pretty durable."

"I love the famicom color scheme."
"Product came fast with no issues, I love the detail on the pixalated Mario it looks great and colorful great buy!"
"Very cute and great quality paint for the Pikachu amiibo."
"I expected a lonely figurine in bubble wrap and as long as it works, I'm been happy."
"They have great build quality and are very collectible, but with the limited integration there isn't enough to warrant more than your absolute favorites. If you are a huge Punch-Out or Animal Crossing fan you can bet that you are going to be paying much more than retail to get your amiibo because of Nintendo's inconclusive and wishy-washiness on their 'discontinued' stance."
"Palutena is as she looks, stands tall and is very detailed for the size."
"It is one of my favorite amiibos, it is really nice detailed, this amiibo is really big compared with others and it also is really heavy, i would like nintendo use it in future releases not only in super smash bros for wii u and 3ds."
"the only bit of advice i have is not to pay more than retail on the us ones, you are better off buying from an international seller for half the price."
