"Got this for my friend and so far he is hooked on it."
"This game is a lot of fun, I love the destiny Franchise."
"---The final mission takes place on this incredible and well designed space ship with vehicles and explosions. It was probably from an early design build of D2 where that was a part of the raid and got scrapped in favor HoW deuce. Buckle up that's a 3x/week activity with other asinine modifiers like: only regenerating shield and health when running, or extending the timer by shooting blue balls, or extending the timer by literally jumping through hoops. Well, unless you want to spend 10-20 hours farming them on repeat for tokens to turn into a faction vendor that only comes by once a month to sell a gun. One can't help but wonder if it is dynamic at all or whether bungie is just deciding which faction to award the gun to. First faction rally was won by the emos in Dead Orbit. It was unsurprising, the destiny community is known for its love of all things dark and gloomy since the cod shader affair. IF your faction loses the event you get the privilege of buying their gun for fifty times (50) more. You can buy the gun at the winning price on whichever character pledged to that faction. Overall PVP is unexciting, frustrating, repetitive, and ultimately has less incentive to play than CODs competitive playlists. Good luck with that, most groups picking up randoms require that you can prove you've beat the raid before accepting you into their midst. There's a high chance it'll take several attempts per activity, per character. Between connection issues, griefing clans, and communication barriers it's a total waste of time. Recently the community manager spoke about how the end game is supposed to be forming and building relationships with other players. What about the fact that I've never seen another player even join shared voice chat, even in guided games? It's so good players have built websites to fill in the gaps that bungie couldn't be bothered to. Assuming your competent as well, and don't waste time searching for people to play with, or wiping excessively in the raid, or at all in the nightfall. So once your milestones are out of the way so are your guaranteed opportunities to advance your power level, which doesn't matter for anything but the raid by the way. Your options are to rerun the raids/nightfalls, public events, or the wholly unsatisfying pvp. So many weapons and armors are reskinned versions of another piece it's hardly worth paying attention unless you're going for that fancy looks and have either the time to grind out hundreds of bright engrams, or buy them at the destiny slot machine for $2 a spin. The only late game vendor that sells anything directly is eververse, for cash. Have fun dumping tokens into npcs for the same pulse rifle and boots you've gotten 100x already. I'll come back and update later if Bungie does anything to improve or worsen this game."
"The original Destiny evolved over the course of three years into something many people took on as a hobby, and enjoyed with numerous friends who found the game engaging long after one had "played through all the content". Despite some glaring plot holes and weak writing, Destiny 2 has a very fun and engaging campaign, to be sure - certainly in comparison to the original. The "I've played about 10 hours" reviews reflect only a brief exposure - that's roughly the time it takes for one playthrough of the campaign on a single character. Unfortunately, beyond the campaign, D2 is missing just about every aspect of what made its predecessor fun and engaging from that point forward - the so-called "endgame" as it's called. Inexplicably gone - replaced by weapons and gear that are identical to what you get everywhere else in the game, skinned to match the sterile, plastic-looking raid environment. The skills and super abillity have been largely nerfed to oblivion, with only a few things like Pulse Grenades left to make Guardians feel anything remotely close to "Legend". As such, the player should be ready for LOTS of duplicate, identical items with every token submission, the vast majority of which comprises mediocre guns and unremarkable armor. As beautiful and large as the environments are, the reality is that the whole thing becomes a repetitive, unrewarding activity that grows stale and boring very quickly. The majority of rewards - especially the upcoming "enhancements" in 'Season 2' - are cosmetic items that are either directly or indirectly connected to the Eververse microtransaction kiosk."
"Raid gear is about the same as armor you can get from anywhere else in the game, cosmetic only and no special bonuses. Great, turn in these tokens and get a piece of armor not related to the special event, a piece of armor that you can get from literally EVERY vendor in the game."

Reviews
"The extra horse power is easily apparent from the get go, from the Dashboard and guide being super quick and slick, to the 4k HDR options or on certain titles that can't reach 60fps you have 1080p 60fps ultra settings options and a mix of in between for some games."
"The Xbox One X is my 3rd Xbox system, having owned the 360, Xbox One and now the X. I've enjoyed them all - and the X is by far, the most polished in terms of user experience and user interface. 2) UX/UI: Over the generations of Xbox consoles, I've always felt the UX/UI has always been a step or two behind Playstation. Audio also gets a nice improvement as well with the addition of Dolby ATMOS. My Samsung HW-K850 supports it - but getting the Xbox One X to allow me to select Atmos output was a royal pain in the a$$. To get Atmos to work, you're first prompted to download the (kinda) free Dolby Access app (I say 'kinda' free, because there is an 'Atmos for headphones' option that will cost you $15 to enable). The Dolby app then guides you through the necessary settings you must enable on the Xbox - but this is where it went awry in my case. I did stumble across a solution, in which you must also enable a setting in the TV & One Guide section; "Audio" must be set to "surround" (instead of the default "stereo uncompressed" in that menu too - something the Dolby app (and Microsoft support) missed. 4) Other features: Coming from the Xbox One w/ Kinect, I had opted to connect my cable box (Charter/Spectrum) - which offers the most outdated and terrible guide/menu in the known universe. The issue here, is that for games that take advantage of 4K resolution, typically offer higher-resolution textures to go along with it - which, according to Microsoft, can inflate game size by 33% or more. I feel that Microsoft may have missed the mark on this one; Why tout the most powerful console ever, and pair it with a HDD that is honestly too small?"
"The XBox One S should have been the real first version of the XBox One released in 2013 But, MS made a number of huge missteps and let the Internet dictate there "Brand". The last 4 years have been anti-climatic to say the least on every platform. With the internet having a lot more damaged then good for all consumers. All gamers should be on the same page But, it's not that way everyone is to busy fighting over Frames Per second, or picture resolution. Brand loyalty should go so far. Fast Forward to November 7th 2017 and you have the One X aka XBox One 4k Pro. This is for now the most powerful console until the next Generation begins (2-3years from now). Is it worth the somewhat high SRP. Yes and No. Cons: You should have a Ultra HD tv this system is built around 4K. If you have a 1080p HD tv stick with the Xbox One or XBox One S. It's a massive waste of money to own this now if you don't have the tv it's made for. Have a middle of road Home Theater. with two different audio choices in digital optical and HDMI Audio. You should have a Home Theater set-up. Playing some of these game with DTS sound or Higher enhances the experience 10x. almost 1/2 the games during this generation have better pure audio then some of the biggest summer movie block busters. The HDMI Cable is cheap much like the cable that was bundled with the XBox One S. You'll need a 4K High-Speed HDMI as of late they are dirt cheap at the most you should spend $20 on a replacement Cable. You'll need a 4k High-Speed HDMI cable to get the most out of your console and tv. 1TB might sound like a lot it's not. Make sure you have at least one 4-5tb external Hard Drive. The 4k Patches are insanely huge. The Quantum Break 4K enhanced patch is almost 200GB. Titanfall 2 68.7GB, Wolfenstein 2 51.5BG, The Evil Within 2 29.7GB, Tekken 7 43GB, Rise of the Tomb Raider 30.5GB, Mass Effect: Andromenda 45.5GB, Mafia III 50.2GB, L.A. Noire 17GB (which is a pretty much 4k up scaled) , Homefront: The Revolution 45.5GB, Gears of War 4 107GB, Halo 5 98.3GB. Doom 58.7GB, Dishonored 2 54GB, Dead Rising 4 59.1 GB, Assassin's Creed: Origins 43GB, Killer Instinct 47.1 GB, Just Cause 3 47.2GB, Ghost Recon: Wildlands 52.4GB, Agents of Mayhem 45.4GB, Injustice 2 31.8GB, Resident Evil 7 20.4GB. The disc tray has been moved more toward the bottom of the unit. I don't like the location just seems weird to me maybe it's my OCD?"
"For $500 you get a Vega architecture GPU that's capable of pushing 4k games, UHD BluRay, a TB of storage and it's all packed in a sleek package."

"I purchased a 12 month Xbox Live Gold membership for the first time on Amazon a couple years ago and I love the convenience. This allows me to make the purchase and basically instantly redeem the code on my Xbox Live account. ;) I prefer not having a credit card linked to my Xbox anyway because it helps prevent fraud and the kids can't "accidentally" purchase something. If you've got extra cash burning a hole in your pocket you can also pony up the dough for a 24 month Xbox Live Gold membership and take advantage of the discount it offers. I'm a bit too cheap and try to hold our household to too much of a budget to justify buying the $99.99 24 month subscription card/code. If your'e lucky enough to find these Xbox Live Gold membership cards/codes on sale you can always buy and redeem multiples. I believe you can redeem up to 3 years worth of Xbox Live Gold membership credits on your account at any one time. There are rules governing the actions of players online, but for the most part things are on the honor system. Things ARE moderated to a certain extent but for the most part any disciplinary action is reactionary and comes long after violations of the Xbox Live terms of service. Just know if your child plays online multiplayer games they WILL eventually hear adult language and sometimes worse. You can supervise your child, change settings to reduce risks slightly, but in the end you can't control what other players say or do."
"Not because it. did not work. ; also the added bar code sticker is in English. The card worked as promised on my son's old X-Box 360."
"Exactly what it is supposed to be."
"only issue I had with the digital subscription was trying to use firefox."
"I was sitting at home with snow on the ground and nothing to do."
"This product is way better to purchase on Amazon over your Xbox One console due to the huge discount you receive on Amazon (It's marked up on your Xbox console), plus you won't have to worry about re-occurring charges."
"You can not beat the price!"
"One thing that was disconcerting about using the card: When we tried to redeem it on our game console, we were being told that the code would not work, implying a faulty code or a code that someone else had already used."
