"I am the type of buyer who does a lot of research before pulling the trigger on a purchase and the case of buying a headlight restoration kit was no exception. I couldn't for the life of me figure out the difference int he kits, so I went with the cheapest, the 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System. 3M headlight lens polish sample. - The 3M 39014 Lens Renewal Kit includes all the above plus: 1 - 3M Masking Tape PN 0000 25 ft. - The 3M 39045 Lens Renewal Kit with Protectant includes all of the above plus: 1 - Container of protectant formula. I had making tape, so no biggie there, and I just used a high quality automotive wax on the lenses when I was done, so I didn't need the 3M "Protectant formula". I would say the lights came out at 99-100% I'm not sure what those who wrote negative reviews were doing wrong, but if you follow the directions and take your time, the results are great. - Finish up with a nice high quality wax on the lens to protect your work!"

The headlights were to a point where I barley even wanted to drive at night because I had a small blob of light MAYBE 20 feet in front of me, not even. I am very pleases with this product, and if it only lasts a couple months, then so be it. On another side note, my mom was so amazed by how well it worked she made me go buy another kit and clean her headlights too!"
"I bought the Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit after reading a positive review in Consumer Reports. I am amazed how clear the headlights on my 10 year old Honda look after using it. The paper will also tend to roll on you while sanding, which starts to get a little annoying. I would recommend rinsing once or twice during the first sanding to clean off the residue and help you gauge your progress. Don't be alarmed how hazy the lens looks before putting on the UV Clear Coat. REALLY, REALLY TAKE YOUR TIME APPLYING THE UV CLEAR COAT! This is especially true on a car that may not be totally smooth across the whole lens (there's a raised area on my highlights for the parking lights). The clear coat seemed to collect a little unevenly around the raised area. Even if the product only lasts a year, the results are still pretty good for the price!"
"Obviously I enjoy it because it is a sports car, but at the time, one of the coolest things to me were the headlights. They aren't like they used to be (my dad's Ford Aerostar and my mom's Chevrolet Corsica had glass headlights). What many people don't know is that your plastic headlights, when you buy the car off the lot, actually have a clear coat on them that provides UV protection. Over time this clearcoat wears down due to various elements, chemicals, and abrasives (sun the rain, pollution, road salt, bugs, car wash, automatic car washes - the bristles). When this clear coat is worn down, the sun's rays will eventually break down your headlights to that yellowish color with or without the haze. Obviously restoring is usually cheaper but the results vary and the yellowing of the headlights returns within weeks or months. I've used a handful, such as Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish -10 oz. and Stoner 95121 Invisible Glass Headlight Restoration Kit - Pack of 2. It wasn't until this Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit was one of the Lightning Deals of the Day did I decide to pull the trigger. The only time you apply firm pressure is in the last step of sanding with the 2000 grit sandpaper. In the last step where you apply the UV block clear coat, douse your blue cloth with it. This is the exact opposite from using this kit and finishing the Clarifying Compound step. I thought there was no way 1 more step of just a UV coating can clear up the haze from the sanding & clarifying compound. Again, clearcoats don't last forever so , if Sylvania is going to send me a new kit every time the clear coat wears away, then I'll definitely take advantage of it."

I was hesitant to purchase these replacement lights from a vendor I was unfamiliar with, but I decided to pull the trigger because: -the price is substantially lower than competing products. -the design is quite attractive with matching headlights and fog lights. -the anti-flicker module is built in to the headlights. -the reviews were quite positive. -the company seemed very responsive to issues on Amazon. -the lights are DOT certified. I installed the lights about 5 days ago. The fog lights included an adapter harness with bare wires (I didn’t need it), and the headlights came with two sets of adapters (I also didn’t need them since I’d previously upgraded to the H4 bulb connector). There is a ring bracket around the headlight which mounts it to vehicle; this ring must be saved for new headlight installs. With my stock headlights as well as the name-brand aftermarket headlights, the lamps did not fit securely; they relied on the bracket to squeeze them into place."
"I’ve got a 2013 Jeep Wrangler and like I’m sure many of you fellow owners are well aware of, the stock headlights leave much to be desired. Eventually though, I found these on Amazon, and not only do they look very similar AND they have built in anti flicker modules like the expensive LEDS, they also include the Fogs which seemed too good to be true. The lights themselves come with a clear peel off plastic that protects the lenses. The fog lights come with wiring harnesses as well which again, allow for a truly plug and play installation. First, there are 6 plugs that hold in the grill that you remove easily with a flat head. Overall, considering the build, packaging, quality and incredible price, these lights are a no brainer."

Cons: - No instructions for wiring. I will need to extend the wires back to the mounting point of the blower on the front of the tractor so I can leave them permanently attached along the back of the blower housing and be able to disconnect them from the tractor without a few feet of loose wire to tie up somewhere when the blower isn't mounted. - The wires from power to the light bar wires have female spade connectors but the foot long wires on the light unit are stripped with no connectors provided."
