"I started hearing the stories from other Prius owners that the HID's were burning out early and sometimes at the same time while driving down the highway (scarey), and at first dealers were charging $800 per bulb (even more scarey). I bought 1 at a time, I replaced my passenger side first because my driver side didn't have any issues at that time. Seconds after I replaced the passenger side HID, I was standing in front of the Prius testing the new bulb, it looked great and bright, and I was happy, and wouldn't you know it, but the driver side flickered out right then. When I pulled out the old HID from my 2008 Prius, and put them side by side with the new HID, they were identical, same numbers, same Philips manufacturer. The solution was to re-seat the HID bulb, I un-clicked the HID pulled it out an inch and put it back in straight this time. Update 2: August 2016, 5+ years later, drivers side HID replacement bulb just burned out at 126,000 miles on the 2008 Prius."
"Knowing that the market is flooded with fakes I was put off at first by the fact that the boxes did not have holographic COA stickers on them and contacted the seller. This results in many knock-off bulbs outputting much higher levels of UV light, which could damage the lens and headlight glass."
"Bottom line - the Toyota Sienna has the ballast on the back end of the headlamp - it needs to roatate about 30degrees counter clockwise (if you are facing the back of the headlamp from the windshield). At the end of the braided cable is a metal box - this also needs to be rotated ~ 30 degrees counter clockwise and pulled straight out."
"Took me four hours but I took my time and also rotated all the tires which I'm glad I did because the wheels were very difficult to remove, would have been impossible on the side of the road with a flat."
"Fake product."

"Wiring harness - durable and by the looks and materials used will hold the brutal condition of every day driving and heat dissipated by the vehicle's engine. 2. ( i moved the white plastic gasket 1 step lower as it wouldn't fit when i first tried putting the bulb on the headlamp assembly). I didn't use the plate and decided to use 3M doubled sided tape mounted away from any moving parts or extreme heat dissipation."
"I do believe if you only have low beams (2 ballsts) the warmup time is almost instantly as 2 vs 4 requires much less power, the more you have the longer it takes to build that energy up into the ballasts hence (Warm up time). When testing these just 1 ballast plugged in instantly went to full power no warmup time, with 2 it was 1 or 2 seconds of warmup then full powerful."
"I've used these for a few months and had problems with two of the ballasts already, in one case the lamp would go out after a minute or so, in the second case the ballast burned out entirely and smelled nice and smoky. One thing to note is that because these are focused beam lights on the Prius, minor adjustment to the placement/alignment of the lamp in the fixture affect how much light makes it past the glare-guard."
"In my vehicle, there are some very mild diffusion problems and thus the 4 stars, however the light output is amazing compared to the regular bulbs that were in there and the price is definitely right!!"
"After reading other reviews, I decided to go with the 55 watt 8000K headlights and same for fog lights. I ordered the two harnesses (headlights, and fog lights), and got to installing them. It was great seeing such a big improvement in visibility and light output. (It was in a dry place, not exposed to high heat or moisture) after replacing the relay, all was well again. Then about a week after that, the fog lights quit again, and the headlights started turning off randomly, mostly one at a time."

55w Kensun HID Xenon Conversion Kit "All Bulb Sizes and Colors" with Digital Ballasts - H11 - 6000k
More power produced by a 55W kit means a more intense light, and more brightness. To avoid potential damage to the vehicle, the ballast should be mounted in a well-ventilated location away from any heat sensitive parts. The correction for HIDs is that the ballast input connector needs to be put in the other way around. If you diagnose your HIDs flickering or turning on/off, you may need an additional item for your vehicle, such as a relay harness with resistors or warning cancellers. We strongly recommend you to disable your DRLs and contact us for further help so as to make your lights work perfectly. Includes: smart aluminium carry-case; pair of H11 super-bright performance hid xenon bulbs; 100% weather-proof, shock-proof, water-proof universal high-performance 55 Watt ballasts; mounting brackets and installation instructions. Our HID xenon headlight conversion kit and replacement bulbs are available in cool neon colors including white, blue, bright yellow, purple and pink. Confirm your bulb size at Osram Sylvania or Phillips websites or with the seller of your aftermarket projector headlight housing assemblies.

"So far, so good."
"I installed in less than 10 minutes, but there was something I was concern about, THE HEAT people say it produces, with a lot saying that it melt the headlights, wires etc...they turned on with no problems, everything good, I took one bulb out after 10 minutes of use to find out that the bulb itself was melting, yes, the base where the bulb rest it was melting in the inside."
"So pretty much you are going to want the 35w version, these are not brighter, will burn out faster and cause more wear and tear on your headlights."
"I bought this and a relay harness for my wife’s vehicle which is a 2012 Cadillac SRX. After letting them know the problem they diagnosed it and sent a new harness with resisters to replace the one I had bought (without resisters.)."
"I've ordered these 55watt ballast with 5000k bulbs and although they look more white with a hint of blueish in them when your looking at your headlights from outside, when your inside and looking at the light shining out on the road, the out out looks like a greenish blue. I have a rather expensive German made HID kit installed with my retrofitted headlights and those are 5000k 35watt and they give me that OEM NATURAL white light."
"I installed these lights on my 05 Honda CBR600RR without much problem at all. After about 3 seconds of warm up, these lights shine true white light, with not a single hint of blue or yellow (the first 3 seconds they shine a slight blue tint until they warm up)."

"I was actually debating on buying completely new aftermarket headlight units because the factory halogen lights were so abysmal. The halogen bulbs simply didn't put out enough light ahead or to the sides, not to mention making out details was impossible with the murky yellow color. Before spending over $400 on new headlight units I decided to give these LED bulbs a try (both high and low beams). Install: Installation was a breeze, these bulbs don't seem to have the polarity issues some other LED bulbs have that could require rewiring. Another thing that became apparent is the light's response time, HIDs are notoriously slow so they aren't even considered, but halogens seem incredibly slow next to these LEDs, to the point it is surprising that I never noticed it before. Immediately upon setting out it was apparent that these bulb were the answer I had been looking for; the entire roadway was being lit up, I could see things on the sides that I could never see before, when using the low beams light was reaching farther ahead than the halogen high beams could ever hope to. 30 minutes in, I can see eyes reflecting ahead on the side of the road, I start to brake, just as I near a group of javelina (native pigs) they rush out into the road, I easily avoided them thanks to the LEDs lighting them up way ahead of what the halogens would have. 2) The LED bulbs have to use their own cooling fans to stay cool."
"Reading some other customers reviews I decided to stick an aluminum heat sink in order to try to cool this module and may have some extra lifetime. I also noted that the LED bulb itself don't rise the temperature above 60 degrees Celsius (140F) due to the cooling fan "till it fail lol".. The last thermal image is an interesting comparison of heat signature of my Prius engine and on left side the bright led controller.."
"Since I was looking for new fog light bulbs with my 2013 Subaru Forester, I determined glare would be an issue, although I still need to re-adjust them down a bit... =/. Due to the size of the cooling fins/fan portion of the bulb. After ten minutes of trying to finagle the new bulb into place I determined removing the fog light housing would be my best bet to seeing why it wasn't fitting."
