"Update : Solved the kinky hose problem by adapting the 1/4" quick disconnect adapter from Harbor Freight. Its a pity that the bleeder cap already has the threading for it and all it needs is the disconnect adapter which the bleeder does not have, which when using it resulted in a big frustration with the kinky hose. I should further mention that for those bleeder without the air release valve, it is prudent to loosen the cap a bit to let the air out before disconnecting from the quick-disconnect."

"To eliminate the spark plug as the problem as their website implies, I used my old Actron timing light from 1993 (doesn't have the timing degrees or rpm) which works like a champ. I also picked up a Harbor Freight Xenon Timing Light this holiday season which includes timing degree adjustment and it also works fine with my ignition. I then tried the Harbor Freight harness with the 3568 timing light and for about 15 seconds it was working, but then the flashing went erratic. For example the Craftsman Digital timing light controls and wire harness is a dead ringer for the Actron digital timing light and the Matco timing light looks like a dead ringer of the Innova 5568."

How to do it: From all my reading the best way to tackle this issue is to attach the funnel to your radiator cap opening while cold and fill the funnel about 1/4 up so when system burps fluid falls into they system rather than more air. Once car is cooled down follow the instructions on how to remove the funnel. and close your radiator, by this point 95-100% of the air is out of the system."

"I thought about using this "portable" device to inflate my motorbike too, but the extra step of bringing my bike to my car, and see ^^ above ^^ dissuaded me. I considered getting an AC to DC power supply, then I could just bring the "portable" inflator to the house and use an outlet. A decent AC to DC power supply capable of outputting 15A would have cost at least $50. I guess I could have used my bicycle floor pump, but the sweat effort I once exerted trying to top off a single car tire quickly dissuaded me. This can be fixed by purchasing a Topeak Pressure-Rite adapter, which has a check valve built in. The instructions say to spray cleaning fluid (I used some automotive glass cleaner akin to Windex) directly on the windshield and then rub it with the tool, but for my car (Subaru Outback with EyeSight) I can't spray anything directly on the windshield (Subaru fanbois know why) so I just equipped the rubbing sock on the tool (it's a little awkward stretching it so tightly to fit over the triangular head of the tool) and then sprayed liquid on the cloth."
