Batiste Dry Shampoo Original Clean & Classic 6.73 fl. oz (2 pack)
Batiste original dry shampoo, with a refreshing fragrance, revitalizes greasy, dull and lifeless hair between washes. Innovative starch based "no water needed" formulation targets excess oil and grease, helping to eliminate it at the roots.
Reviews
"I had heard of dry shampoo many years ago and forgot about it until recently when I was browsing the web. He said the fragrance, once in the hair, is barely detectable unless one is up close and deliberately trying to smell the hair. To me, the odor of the clean & classic original is reminiscent of a cross between laundry detergent (that generic "clean" scent that we've been programmed to recognize) and baby powder - not things I want to smell like. Clean your brush of hair and then rinse after each brushing as you will see a buildup of white powder on the brush. (You don't want to brush your hair with a brush full of old, oil saturated power!). Since I've been using Batiste dry shampoo, I've been washing my hair once per week and my hair looks full and clean throughout the week."
"Sadly, it's not the best option if you get flakes in your hair as well - washing your hair would be the best option."
"I love this product!"
"Baptiste dry shampoo is not only the best product I've used, but also one of the least expensive. The solution- dry shampoo! I have shoulder length hair and it can look flat on a "bad hair day" unless I was and blow dry it. In fact, on some days my hair looks better with the "quick and easy" dry shampoo."
"This dry shampoo works wonders on my hair - between showers."
"It does a pretty decent job of helping keep the hair clean when I can't get to the shower."
"This saves me from having to spend two hours washing and straightening my hair."
"Of all dry shampoos, this one smells the best, works the best, and even adds a bit of volume to my hair."

Waterless formula absorbs dirt and grease to revitalize dull and lifeless hair.

"After the first time trying this, I noticed that the baking soda stripped my hair oils way worse than shampoo ever did - it left me with an extremely dry and itchy scalp. The nice thing about this routine is that my natural oils act as a really good protection for my hair on the rare occasion when I use a flat iron, so there is no need to add extra product that then would need to be shampooed out. Before buying anything, I decided to try to make my own at home, which is what I usually do before spending money on something that seems like it lends itself to a DIY version. I paid around $6-7 for the can, and I’m keeping track of how many times I use it by putting a slash mark with a permanent marker on the can so I can figure out how much it costs per use. Once I’ve completely finished the can, I’ll update this review in case anyone else is curious about this but doesn’t want to figure it out themselves. Usually, women’s fragrances tend to be citrusy, fruity, floral, with vanilla notes, or generally sweet. -After you spray it on your scalp, you massage it in a bit and it disappears - I have light brown hair and this dry shampoo doesn’t hang out pretending to look like dandruff (which my homemade concoctions did). Since I neither want to breath this in, nor add more bathroom cleaning to my list of annoying things to do, I always use this outside or on a screened patio. It does exactly what it claims to do, the price is right, the smell is pleasant, and it solves bad hair days in seconds."
"Pictures: I used herbal on one side and batiste on the other; used an old piece of chip board and sprayed each and let them dry for 5 minutes."
"This is like crack for my hair."
"I’m posting this review and will update it whenever I have any new product comparison to add to help those folks who need comparative feedback. Disclaimer: My hair is dark, thick, extremely long, and wavy with oily roots and dry ends. Doesn’t clean extremely well and thickens the hair due to the powdery deposit that’s hard to remove. Smells like nondescript citrus, unisex fragrance, similar to generic hand soap. Doesn’t clean extremely well and thickens the hair due to the powdery deposit that’s hard to remove. Garnier Volume Extend dry shampoo: Leaves white residue but goes away as you massage you scalp clean. Herbal Essences Color Me Happy dry shampoo: Absorbs the oil well as long as you dump a fair amount of the product into your hair. The unfortunate consequence of this “dumping” however, thickens and volumizes the hair to a point where it hurts to comb fingers through. Tresemme Fresh Start dry shampoo: Cleans effectively without leaving much of a residue behind. Because it is a powder you squeeze out of a bottle (non-aerosol), it didn't give me that "choking feeling" I get from spraying dry shampoo all over my head. It is long lasting but stays close so that you don’t “advertise” your hair fragrance throughout the day, so to speak. Oh, and one more thing I really liked about this product is that it has very natural ingredients that don’t bother sick folks, cancer patients, asthma sufferers, etc."

"So while this is my favorite dry shampoo, and I would highly recommend it, I will not repurchase the Amika version."
"This is great for when you don't have time to wash and style your hair."
"This stuff smells great, but it really doesn't work for me."
"I bought this to extend the life of my washes because extensions are great, but washing my hair is a process."
"I love this product!"
"Buy this product!!!"
"This is the best dry shampoo I've ever used!"
"I could not send it back to Amazon for a refund based on not be usable because I waited until I was on-travel to try it, and so it was a real disappointment that not only did I have no dry shampoo to use, but also that at this point I lost my money."

"UPDATE (5/5/13): I've added a star because the company now makes this product available for bulk purchase through a different distribution channel. Here's what this product comes down to: As a practicing dermatologist for over twelve years, I'd say that in my experience, more patients have come to me with scalp problems than any other. What makes these oils work is their chemical composition, and depending on location, the constituents vary. (UPDATE 5/5/13: I've been informed that it helps with broken capillaries) Either way, I decided to distribute this to patients to see if it's a shampoo worth giving my recommendation. I'm giving this shampoo is a four star rating because it's. 1) Effective. 2) Has a pleasant aroma. 3) Over time, works the gears in the scalp to take care of the problem. But I'm taking off two stars off for these reasons: 4) It's not in any stores in my area, so when I recommend it to a patient they have to order it online, an inconvinience for some."
"It took two weeks for my husbands hair to settle into this routine and now he will never go back. It doesn't linger on the hair to compete with your other fragrances, but right out of the shower it is delightful."
"I have really oily hair and a flaky scalp and usually used a basic clarifying shampoo, but I recently spent a lot of money getting my hair colored and my colorist recommended using sulfate free shampoo to help my color look good for longer, plus I'm always looking to be healthier and more earth-friendly. My hair looks clean and shiny and my hair is soft and silky!"
"I've tried several different shampoos from Walmart, Target, Beauty Brands, and Ulta and none of them took care of her hair and scalp as they claimed they would. My daughter has to shampoo her hair daily and this shampoo makes her hair look normal and healthy and shiny."
"It has become my go to shampoo now, after trying several other shampoos for oily hair."
"Really, this is a great product."

"It used to be an anti-hairloss shampoo with 15 DHT blockers - which was fantastic and I would have happily given *that* version five stars - and now has a completely different formula and, to no surprise, does not qualify to be returned."
"Amazon redirected to this product showing as if both are same product but the truth is that it doesn't have ketoconazole."
"Misleading new product riding on old product reviews."
"I have had to return in the past due to being different from what I had previously received, whether it was the smell, the runniness/viscosity, the ability to lather, etc. The latest formula, which oddly Amazon has not updated it's description to reflect this, is no longer compatible with my scalp and causes me allergic reactions."
"As mentioned in a recent review, the product that is shipping under this item from Amazon is not the same as what is shown on the label or the description."
"Anyone who is experiencing hair loss would know how difficult it is to shampoo your hair and then see your hands full of hair. After using the "new" shampoo for a couple of times, there is a day and night difference -- now I can actually count the number of broken hair that I have on my hand after I put shampoo on my hair."
