"I'm writing a review to give back to to the eczema community which has helped me find this product. Though Seattle is a rainy city, the air, when not raining, is very, very dry, so I attributed the cause of my skin problems to that. I had these strange, rough patches on my cheeks and chin that refused to be moisturized. Like I said, I thought they were pimples, so I put acne medication on them, which made them much, much worse-- they went from being mildly weird to causing huge scars. The nice thing about this routine is that my natural oils act as a really good protection for my hair on the rare occasion when I use a flat iron, so there is no need to add extra product that then would need to be shampooed out. Before buying anything, I decided to try to make my own at home, which is what I usually do before spending money on something that seems like it lends itself to a DIY version. I paid around $6-7 for the can, and I’m keeping track of how many times I use it by putting a slash mark with a permanent marker on the can so I can figure out how much it costs per use. Once I’ve completely finished the can, I’ll update this review in case anyone else is curious about this but doesn’t want to figure it out themselves. Usually, women’s fragrances tend to be citrusy, fruity, floral, with vanilla notes, or generally sweet. -After you spray it on your scalp, you massage it in a bit and it disappears - I have light brown hair and this dry shampoo doesn’t hang out pretending to look like dandruff (which my homemade concoctions did). Since I neither want to breath this in, nor add more bathroom cleaning to my list of annoying things to do, I always use this outside or on a screened patio. Tresemme Fresh Start dry shampoo: Cleans effectively without leaving much of a residue behind. Because it is a powder you squeeze out of a bottle (non-aerosol), it didn't give me that "choking feeling" I get from spraying dry shampoo all over my head. It is long lasting but stays close so that you don’t “advertise” your hair fragrance throughout the day, so to speak. Oh, and one more thing I really liked about this product is that it has very natural ingredients that don’t bother sick folks, cancer patients, asthma sufferers, etc."

He said the fragrance, once in the hair, is barely detectable unless one is up close and deliberately trying to smell the hair. To me, the odor of the clean & classic original is reminiscent of a cross between laundry detergent (that generic "clean" scent that we've been programmed to recognize) and baby powder - not things I want to smell like. Clean your brush of hair and then rinse after each brushing as you will see a buildup of white powder on the brush. (You don't want to brush your hair with a brush full of old, oil saturated power!). Since I've been using Batiste dry shampoo, I've been washing my hair once per week and my hair looks full and clean throughout the week."

I feel great using it because it doesn't have the questionable ingredients from almost every other shampoo - and I've even told my family about it and they will be ordering some soon. I try to avoid getting soap/shampoo in anyone's eyes (and in doing research, MOST tear free formulas still have eye irritants in them, they just have a numbing agent in them which I also wanted to avoid). Here's a tip: say yes, to the alcohols that start with "c" and "s." Cetearyl alcohol. Cetyl alcohol. Stearyl alcohol. "It's easy to see why "alcohols" are confusing to the average cosmetic label reader. But, as mentioned above, fancier fatty alcohols, such as cetyl alcohol are not drying; instead, they are actually conditioning to hair and skin." I bought the hair conditioning mask and the oil treatment. I have since used the hair mask 4 times (twice a week since it arrived) and have used the oil treatment every day for 2 weeks. If your hair isn’t as treacherous as mine, you could probably use the hair mask once a week or twice a month or once a month or whatever suits your hair care needs. Things I love about this product: Smells fantastic, easy to use, leaves hair smooth and manageable, perfect packaging means no leaks that waste the product (considering how often this happens with beauty products, it’s worth mentioning). The mask may go a little quicker than the oil, only because so little oil is needed for the hair and you get so much of it, but also because I am using the mask twice a week which is probably not necessary for most people. However, I did notice that the first time I used the mask, my hair seemed to soak it all in so much that I needed to use quite a bit, but after that, the moisture in my hair was so improved that I needed much less conditioner on subsequent applications. I have been doing a deep treatment conditioning of my hair for months now in the same manner and using hair oils for a couple months now (and I’ve always only washed my hair once a week–before you say eww, this is actually REALLY healthy for your hair.). Those products DID give me results, however, I would say that this product did for my hair in 2 weeks what those products took 4 months to do for me, and I think by this point I was capped out on what those products could do for me."

Since Arvazallia didn't like the fact that I bashed their marketing tactics (see their sweet response below), let's remove that part of my review and stick with just my opinion on the product. I was hoping for something that was actually "repairing" with argan oil being a main ingredient. I wanted something to continually make an actual difference in my hair, rather than offering superficial repair with silicones - which weigh my hair down and make it look greasy. Since they fail to list the ingredients anywhere in the description...let's talk about them so that people better understand the rating I gave: Amodimethicone, Trideceth-12 & Cetrimonium Chloride - These 3 work as a triad, which is why they are all listed together. It will create a thin coat, particularly where there is a lot of damage, smooth down the cuticle and provide superficial "repair" to your hair. Hence my assessment that this was a "thick conditioner in a fancy red tub" - because...well, it is. This makes the conditioner thick, but it also provides conditioning properties to hair. Citric acid in conditioner helps the hair appear shiny and smooth. So, basically what we have here is a lot of silicones, a thickening agent, a wee bit o' argan oil and preservatives."
