Find Best Price at Amazon"I have always had the kind of hair that no matter how much heat, styling, gel, or spray I use, my curls are falling out while I'm in the car on my way to the event. It's no surprise that at nearly 30, I still can't do my hair ;-) Some days, even mastering a pony tail is a struggle! The first time I used it was ok - it took forever, I didn't have a lot of volume on top of my head, and boy did I get my hair tangled in it. I don't use any product or sprays to get the curls to stay, which AMAZES ME, because again, I have always been the type to lose my hairstyle before I even get to an event. It is shocking to come home from an event hours later and have my curls intact, especially without use of any styling sprays or products. I don't know what that other person was talking about being disappointed that their curls last "only" 2 days - this isn't a PERM, it's a daily styling tool. I attached some picture of my hair after using this product because sometimes seeing is believing (assuming Amazon approved and posted the images I shared)."

"I'm 48, have thin color treated hair and haven't purchased new curling irons in years and years, and I like the "Clamp" type better than the newer types of wrap around style rods that my 17 year old uses all the time, as I HATE HATE HATE those pointy looking ends those no clamp rods leave, so I was looking for a combo that had both. PROS: * Has several clamp type of rods, and I love the "CLAMP of old school" curling irons. * Has 3 different barrel sizes with the clips/clamp style. * Has 2 different ROD sizes for the wrap around style (one tapered, one straight). * Gets hot QUICK. * Cools down fairly quickly as well when off. * Swivel type cord is paired with a longer length cord for more freedom of movement. * Curls set quick, and seem to last all day & all night for me. * Heat resistant case is nice to travel with (cool them off to at least WARM before putting them in, as it is thin and will still transfer heat, or melt the cord from the base if too hot and touching a rod/wand). * I found that switching out the barrels was easy, not hard, just a good tug pulls them off (do this when they are COOL!). * Clamp irons have a kick stand to set on counter area. CONS: * NO COOL TOUCH TIP with the clamp/clip style! Out of habit, I reached for the tip to get better control of the iron when I was unrolling and I burned myself the first time, thinking these were like my old clamp/clip style that have a cool touch tip, these have none! When I curl my hair, I just want it to get hot quick, and this does, but my daughter is the wand connoisseur ... and she says the temp readout &/or adjustment is essential. "The irons attach to the control handle snugly and then lock in a place with and turn of the knob at the top. The irons can be set low for easily damaged hair or really rather hot for quick styling. A glove to protect your hand against burning was also including which is nice when working with some of the irons and when taking it apart."
