"Usually I purchase flat irons with two-inch plates because it straightens my hair quickly but I'd noticed many flat irons are one-inch plates. The HSI Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Flat Iron is a one-inch ceramic flat iron. The entire flat iron measures 10 1/2 inches long, has a 360-degree swivel cord so you can move all over the place and not have to worry about the straightener getting tangled, and the cord itself measures about 93 inches long (almost 8 feet). The flat iron has an on/off switch and an indicator where the light is red when the flat iron is heating up and it turns green when it's ready to use. This flat iron is made in China and comes in a box along with a nice storage bag, a glove to protect your hand from the high heat, a 5 mL bottle of argan oil hair treatment, instructions, and a style guide for different hair styles (some different tools may be required). It's no surprise that at nearly 30, I still can't do my hair ;-) Some days, even mastering a pony tail is a struggle! The first time I used it was ok - it took forever, I didn't have a lot of volume on top of my head, and boy did I get my hair tangled in it. I don't use any product or sprays to get the curls to stay, which AMAZES ME, because again, I have always been the type to lose my hairstyle before I even get to an event. It is shocking to come home from an event hours later and have my curls intact, especially without use of any styling sprays or products. I don't know what that other person was talking about being disappointed that their curls last "only" 2 days - this isn't a PERM, it's a daily styling tool. I attached some picture of my hair after using this product because sometimes seeing is believing (assuming Amazon approved and posted the images I shared)."
