"June 9, 2016 Product Update: I reviewed the Duffle below and wanted to add one more picture to the collection. There is an organization there that collects gently used or new sneakers to donate to mountain runners of all ages. Both EMS and REI have their own packable duffle bag which is used to protect backpacks while flying to your destination. While in Alaska I will use my backpack for day trips/rafting and my gear will go into the duffle which will be hauled, by the outfitter, to the next location. Plus, in the future, when I travel and don't need the duffle, it collapses perfectly and can be stuffed into my pack without taking up a lot of space. We'll see how it holds up in June and I'll report back then :-). UPDATE July 14, 2015: I just returned from my 10 day trip to South Central Alaska. I personally think eBags is slightly more durable, but that Shacke Pak is slightly more attractive and gives you a little more for your money. I have not had any real issues with quality or durability (I travel and use these a lot, but I will update my review in the future), and Shacke Pak has already demonstrated to me that they have excellent customer service."

From everything I could learn an all websites, including Amazon, there were 2 models I was interested in. The only difference between these 2 models, besides the color, is this one has a compartment for an iPad opposite the laptop compartment in the section that opens up to lie flat on the airport's scanning conveyor. My only complaint with both packs is I wish it had just a couple of other small zippered sections inside for small miscellaneous items often needed on business trips (e.g. medications, snacks, sunglasses or reading glasses, etc.)."

"I was initially a little concerned about purchasing this pack because of the negative reviews regarding the zipper quality. What happened is the stitching started to come out of the seam around the zipper and was getting caught in the teeth and eventually broke the teeth of the zipper within weeks of owning the pack. I have multiple Camelbak backpacks and several of them are 15-20 years old now and this pack couldn't even last 1/2 a year."
