Find Best Price at Amazon"This bag has been mine for 6 months and been through plenty of air and auto travel-- up and down stairs, over loud tile floors, etc. I loop another bag with additional gear over this one when I travel to take advantage of the wheels-- then when I hit a flight or two of stairs I grab the canvas loop handles while the telescope drag handle is extended and extra bag is looped over the telescope extended handle-- very durable. If you are running after a rental car bus and drag the wheels sideways across concrete or asphalt streets and sidewalks the wheels will sustain those flattened spots around the wheel that make loud thumping noises when you return to hard floor surfaces to roll it in conventional/normal use. There are bags with wheels made from better rubber compounds that better resist abuse. Not a deal breaker-- If you are careful to not drag the bad sideways when running fast while rolling the wheels with telescope extended, then this is not a problem."

I also knew that I preferred a distressed leather bag with slide-in buckles and a very sturdy shoulder strap (that wouldn't stretch out with use). It came as a lighter color than is pictured, but I bought a $5.00 can of mink oil and rubbed it down. The leather is very sturdy and holds up well when the bag is sitting on the floor...it doesn't fall over like a lot of the more expensive bags. The only issue I've had with the bag is that after about a week of use (carrying it to work and school and back), one of the slide buckles will no longer hold (it just slides out) and keeps the flap from securing on one side."

From everything I could learn an all websites, including Amazon, there were 2 models I was interested in. The only difference between these 2 models, besides the color, is this one has a compartment for an iPad opposite the laptop compartment in the section that opens up to lie flat on the airport's scanning conveyor. My only complaint with both packs is I wish it had just a couple of other small zippered sections inside for small miscellaneous items often needed on business trips (e.g. medications, snacks, sunglasses or reading glasses, etc.)."

"I was initially a little concerned about purchasing this pack because of the negative reviews regarding the zipper quality. What happened is the stitching started to come out of the seam around the zipper and was getting caught in the teeth and eventually broke the teeth of the zipper within weeks of owning the pack. I have multiple Camelbak backpacks and several of them are 15-20 years old now and this pack couldn't even last 1/2 a year."

Cons: - Nothing major at the moment, but I am starting to notice after a few months of use that some of the seams appear to be stretching a little too far and am concerned that it may tear after a while. - The plastic spring cord lock used on the sack that carries all the packing cubes (I used the sack as a "dirty laundry bag") broke after a month. Personal Experience: Ask me a year ago whether I would ever have packing cubes and I would have scoffed at you and declared that it was illogical to try to save packing space by using packing cubes that forced the cube shape. This concerns me slightly and makes me question the long term durability whereas eBags' double stitched design seems to hold strong regardless of how tightly I pack the cubes. Shacke Pak demonstrated excellent customer service, but at the same time I am a little concerned that something like that happened so quickly in the first place. Since then, I have had no issues with my two sets of packing cubes from Shacke Pak. I have had no issues with eBags in terms of the zippers or zipper handles in the 6 months that I have owned them. I personally think eBags is slightly more durable, but that Shacke Pak is slightly more attractive and gives you a little more for your money. I have not had any real issues with quality or durability (I travel and use these a lot, but I will update my review in the future), and Shacke Pak has already demonstrated to me that they have excellent customer service."
