Best Women's Rain Footwear

Sperry Top-Sider Women's Saltwater Rope Emboss Neoprene Rain Boot
Waterproof fashion duck boot. 50% Synthetic/50% Rubber.
Reviews
"But because I did not want to go into the hassle of returning and waiting for the correct size (which would've taken a week or two and also because I needed warm boots due to the weather) I kept the Sperry's and ordered a pair of thick sheepskin insoles which thankfully did the trick. That is for deep winter climate like below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes, they're water proof and I assume snow proof but these do not have a firm grip on ice, as I have noticed they don't have traction on slippery surfaces (like ice or a shiny wet surface) even though they do have good traction on dry and uneven surfaces. Very good quality shoe, well made and if you are like me, who keeps things well- then these will last an extremely long time which I'm looking forward to. Overall very attractive, good quality, waterproof shoe for autumn, cold rain and mild winter but NOT for very cold weather and the sheepskin insert helps in making it a much warmer shoe."
"Amazon charged me over $80 for these boots, but they arrived with a $39.99 price tag from Marshalls...."
"I really like these duck boot style all weather boots."
"loved these from afar for years, finally found the grean and brown ones on sale for 50$ on amazon (85 originally)."
"The shoes are comfortable with my orthotic inserts, so I suppose it's good they're a bit larger than I expected."
"Pretty true to size!"
"Love."
"Bought these for my daughter for Christmas, not even a week later the seam has come apart."

The Original MuckBoots Adult Chore Hi-Cut Boot

Reviews
"There are reinforcement strips of harder rubber that run up the front and rear of each boot. All four reinforcement strips have fractured at the junction of the soft upper to the harder rubber bottom of the boot."
"I wasn't terribly hard on them, just walking and basic work around the farm. I can't be in anything too deep, but they do still keep my feet dry when I am walking in dewy grass with my dog, which is all I really care about right now. I am a bit disappointed in such a huge company like MuckBoots, basically a household name, doesn't have a product that lasts longer and is more durable for the expense. I will take my business somewhere else and try to find a product that can last a bit longer, especially when all I am doing is walking and standing in them."
"Since I never know how shoes and boots will fit, and this was the first time ordering Muckboots, I ordered two pair in two different sizes."
"These boots are sturdy and have great support."
"Other than them being just a little on the big side, they are a fantastic boot."
"I've been using these for years."
"He wore the other ones completely out in about 2 years on a lot of wear time!"
"My original muck boots finally wore out after many years of almost daily wear, through rain, snow, sleet, hail and cleaning the barn. There was a sizing chart, which I looked at, since this style doesn't come in men's and women's sizes, and they are plenty big, but I'll be wearing heavy socks, so that's OK."

"I live in a pretty dry place so bought these just to have on hand for a trip where we're expecting rain."
"I wear a size 9 but after reading the reviews, I decided to try a size 8."
"Loved these for a trip on a rainy weekend to Philadelphia."
"I have received lots of compliments on these rain boots I live in Boston and it is raining a lot right now they are great you will need some cushion insoles these hardly have any in them."
"I even had some room to put in winter boot socks - I have the capelli sweater topped ones and they still fit comfortably."
"I contacted Nomad's customer service, they replaced my boots, with the message: "If you want to extend the use of the boots we advise not to use them in extreme weather conditions or soak them in water because they are water resistance and not water proof". Disappointed :(. Maybe there is a "break every nomad boot" curse on me, but I will not be purchasing new nomad boots and will be looking for something tougher to walk in."
"Problem number 2; there was a note from Nomad in the package that states "rain boots are water resistant, NOT WATERPROOF, and are not intended for extreme weather conditions or submergence"."
"Perhaps I have enormous calves or something but these boots did not fit comfortably. If you are like me and have wider-than-usual calves, I suggest you do what I'm going to do: purchase shorter boots or extra wide calf boots."

"They do not make my calf feel like its in a cast like most of the heavy duty cold weather boots do. They also have a really good grip on the bottom that does not slip easily; its the rubber they used. Mine are a size 7.5 and my pictures will show how they are not bulky and still have a cute look to them."
"As someone who lives in a cold/snowy climate (at the base of the mountains in Utah) and who participates in a lot of outdoor winter activities, I did a lot of research before buying a pair of winter/snow boots. The tread is really substantial as I mentioned and I feel totally comfortable hiking in these in winter or just hanging Christmas lights on a ladder outside. If you're look for the cutest and least boot looking waterproof boots in the world, these are not for you, but if you want a real winter work horse boot that you can actually wear under boot cut jeans to work and not look completely silly, these are a winner!"
"I bought these boots because I'm tired of my feet get wet and cold in the winter."
"Although winter isn't here yet, I filled a bucket with 4 inches of ice water and put my foot in it."
"The boots seem to have a wide fit in the toe box that make them look a little chunkier than necesary and feel really large overall even when I wear with really thick wool socks, so im taking off a star because I feel the sizing/cut could use some improvement to distinguish a size range between this wide fit and a more regular fit."

"I love this pair and apparently, lots of other people in my gym love this pair too because I have seen various women wearing them."

"It's better to buy shoes a little smaller for Rick climbing, you use your big toe so all the weight needs to adjust to your big toe, not be evened out."

Best Women's Hiking & Trekking Shoes

Ahnu Women's Sugarpine Hiking Boot
Stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centered on the line. If measuring a child's foot, it may be easier to hold the paper up to their foot. Heel measures approximately 1".
Reviews
"I was able to wear socks in them just fine, and they felt comfortable enough for me to think a size 10 would be just fine. Again, when I wear my hiking boots I do not usually just walk on flat terrain or on carpet, so my boots need to be comfortable no matter what terrain I encounter. It allows for wearing them with hiking socks and for swelling in the feet while hiking. While on my video you will see me wearing some light cotton socks, I recommend wearing appropriate hiking socks with these boots (I wore the white cotton socks in my video only to show socks do not get wet when shoes are submerged)."
"I was planning a short hike on the Appalachian Trail last year during a week that included a few possible days of rain, so i was looking for a shoe that wouldn't soak and had some traction. After reading Amazon reviews on all women's hiking boots I decided that Ahnu was the most promising brand. I walked through mud and streams that reached halfway up my boots and my socks stayed completely dry."
"We also go to the beach in the off season, hike as much as possible, and once a week we walk a 12 mile course that varies from pavement, to rocky muddy trails, old muddy logging roads, to other varied terrain. I wore these for 3 hours out with the dogs in mushy snow, I had on a fairly thin pair of Merino Wool hiking socks, and my feet were warm, completely dry, and I felt sure footed the entire time. My dogs were glad that I was outside with them for such a long extent. Sunday, we went to the beach, we are talking the Atlantic Ocean in Maine, in January, I am not lying when I tell you my feet were 100% dry, we were at the beach for 2 hours, and I was in the water or on the rocks almost the entire time with one of my dogs, who I do Dock Dogs with, he is pretty much a K-9 fish."
