"They do not make my calf feel like its in a cast like most of the heavy duty cold weather boots do. They also have a really good grip on the bottom that does not slip easily; its the rubber they used. Mine are a size 7.5 and my pictures will show how they are not bulky and still have a cute look to them."
"As someone who lives in a cold/snowy climate (at the base of the mountains in Utah) and who participates in a lot of outdoor winter activities, I did a lot of research before buying a pair of winter/snow boots. The tread is really substantial as I mentioned and I feel totally comfortable hiking in these in winter or just hanging Christmas lights on a ladder outside. If you're look for the cutest and least boot looking waterproof boots in the world, these are not for you, but if you want a real winter work horse boot that you can actually wear under boot cut jeans to work and not look completely silly, these are a winner!"
"I bought these boots because I'm tired of my feet get wet and cold in the winter."
"Although winter isn't here yet, I filled a bucket with 4 inches of ice water and put my foot in it."
"The boots seem to have a wide fit in the toe box that make them look a little chunkier than necesary and feel really large overall even when I wear with really thick wool socks, so im taking off a star because I feel the sizing/cut could use some improvement to distinguish a size range between this wide fit and a more regular fit."

"Someone commented that there was no sheepskin fur on the insole where your foot rests. I can't see spending a whole lot of extra money when these are just as good. Some said that the outer skin of the others is sheepskin while Bearpaw if Cow leather. I can't wait to sink my feet in these when the weather gets colder. My friend's "Bearpaws" held up better for her than her more expensive brand. And remember, for all suede and sheepskin, you need to waterproof and stainproof them before using them in rain and snow. I will not be wearing them every day at the exclusion of all other shoes and boots so I plan to enjoy these for many years to come! Got mine directly through Amazon, not third party merchant."
"The return process with Amazon is so smooth, that I didn't mind ordering and returning.I would need to try a 7.5 in another color once they are in stock."
"The short hit slightly below mid calf."
"Not sure the tread will be as good in the snow as Uggs, which look like more slip resistant tread."
"These BearPaw boots are pretty amazing."
"I really thought that the Size 11 would be exactly the right size for my feet."
"I'm a solid 7.5 and these fir beautifully with any thickness of sock so far and they are super warm, without making my feet overheated."
"The fit of these seemed off compared to other Bearpaws I have tried on which makes me wonder if they are real."

Reviews
"These boots are true to size, so I bought a size 7.5 (I am either 7.5 or 8 in women's shoes, depending on the brand) and they fit me perfectly, even with my wide feet and with thick fluffy socks on. I bought the grey boots and they look wonderful. We turned around and went home and I took the boots off and inspected them more closely - turns out, the heel on the right boot isn't level!"
"The color is fantastic and not accurate in the preview images."
"The bottoms have a soft rubber on them with good grip. The boot has good cushion when walking. I hope not for the price I think their worth finding out. I'll see what my mom thinks but think I'm ordering a pair for myself. These boots are I can see being good for shoveling snow, walking to school in winter, shopping, looking cute in winter. When I put those boots on… I feel like I'm putting something on that works good but I find really unattractive."
"I have only had these boots for a couple of weeks, but in that time the state was hit with a blizzard and we got more than 2' of snow overnight."
"This is helpful if needing more room to tuck jeans into, for thick socks or if you have larger calves."
"They are forgiving to large calves, so if you have bigger calves like me, don't be nervous to order, I tried them on and they're great!"
"I wore them in Big bear recently with tons of snow on the ground and they didn't disappoint!"
"They seem like well made boots that will keep my feet cosy warm and dry from rain or snow."

"These are great boots!!!!"
"For ages have wanted this style of boot, but not pay the exorbitant prices of other brands. While I was skeptical of this brand, it turns out, they did a great job on these boots."
"These are my second pair."
"The fit of these seemed off compared to other Bearpaws I have tried on which makes me wonder if they are real."
"I see very little difference, but Emus are a bit smaller in the width, but they also have a little bit better support, but for the money I will stick with Bear Paws."
"Great quality for the price."
"I looked at reviews and sized like I would an Ugg boot."

Best Women's Rain Footwear

Sperry Top-Sider Women's Saltwater Rope Emboss Neoprene Rain Boot
Waterproof fashion duck boot. 50% Synthetic/50% Rubber.
Reviews
"But because I did not want to go into the hassle of returning and waiting for the correct size (which would've taken a week or two and also because I needed warm boots due to the weather) I kept the Sperry's and ordered a pair of thick sheepskin insoles which thankfully did the trick. That is for deep winter climate like below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Yes, they're water proof and I assume snow proof but these do not have a firm grip on ice, as I have noticed they don't have traction on slippery surfaces (like ice or a shiny wet surface) even though they do have good traction on dry and uneven surfaces. Very good quality shoe, well made and if you are like me, who keeps things well- then these will last an extremely long time which I'm looking forward to. Overall very attractive, good quality, waterproof shoe for autumn, cold rain and mild winter but NOT for very cold weather and the sheepskin insert helps in making it a much warmer shoe."
"Amazon charged me over $80 for these boots, but they arrived with a $39.99 price tag from Marshalls...."
"I really like these duck boot style all weather boots."
"loved these from afar for years, finally found the grean and brown ones on sale for 50$ on amazon (85 originally)."
"The shoes are comfortable with my orthotic inserts, so I suppose it's good they're a bit larger than I expected."
"Pretty true to size!"
"Love."
"Bought these for my daughter for Christmas, not even a week later the seam has come apart."

"EPIC CLIMBING SHOE!!!"
"These are perfect and fit to size."
"These are my first climbing shoes!"
"I love this pair and apparently, lots of other people in my gym love this pair too because I have seen various women wearing them."
"That took about 4 or 5 climbing sessions to complete."

Best Women's Hiking & Trekking Shoes

Ahnu Women's Sugarpine Hiking Boot
Stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centered on the line. If measuring a child's foot, it may be easier to hold the paper up to their foot. Heel measures approximately 1".
Reviews
"I was able to wear socks in them just fine, and they felt comfortable enough for me to think a size 10 would be just fine. Again, when I wear my hiking boots I do not usually just walk on flat terrain or on carpet, so my boots need to be comfortable no matter what terrain I encounter. It allows for wearing them with hiking socks and for swelling in the feet while hiking. While on my video you will see me wearing some light cotton socks, I recommend wearing appropriate hiking socks with these boots (I wore the white cotton socks in my video only to show socks do not get wet when shoes are submerged)."
"I was planning a short hike on the Appalachian Trail last year during a week that included a few possible days of rain, so i was looking for a shoe that wouldn't soak and had some traction. After reading Amazon reviews on all women's hiking boots I decided that Ahnu was the most promising brand. I walked through mud and streams that reached halfway up my boots and my socks stayed completely dry."
"We also go to the beach in the off season, hike as much as possible, and once a week we walk a 12 mile course that varies from pavement, to rocky muddy trails, old muddy logging roads, to other varied terrain. I wore these for 3 hours out with the dogs in mushy snow, I had on a fairly thin pair of Merino Wool hiking socks, and my feet were warm, completely dry, and I felt sure footed the entire time. My dogs were glad that I was outside with them for such a long extent. Sunday, we went to the beach, we are talking the Atlantic Ocean in Maine, in January, I am not lying when I tell you my feet were 100% dry, we were at the beach for 2 hours, and I was in the water or on the rocks almost the entire time with one of my dogs, who I do Dock Dogs with, he is pretty much a K-9 fish."
