"I generally only buy Logitech when I get third-party stuff because I trust the quality, and this keyboard is really good EXCEPT for one shocking problem."
"I decided to use bigger keyboard and mice at home, though I like my Logitech K360 and other Logitech mice. According to Logitech, the keyboard has 3-year battery life, and the mouse has two years. The Logitech SetPoint software (6.67) does not support M510 mouse. I can pair my other Logitech devices in the Unifying Software and manage all of them in SetPoint, but M510 is an exception."
"I've had bouts of carpel tunnel syndrome and wore a wrist brace for awhile, and switched to this set long ago, and it's never returned. The keyboard got a little wonky after about 6 years, which pissed me off at first, but then I decided that's a pretty good life. Unfortunately, I cursed it for months before deciding to shell out for a new one, wondering if it was another factor and I'd pay all that money and have the same problem. If people think this is an unrealistic expectation, maybe I'll add back a star."
"Overall Satisfied, wishing it had a trackpad that was capable of Mac level gestures, Dreaming of Windows being even remotely as awesome as Mac OS.... Dreaming, dreaming, dreaming..."
"If it lasts any longer than that, you are in the minority and you should consider yourself a lucky owner of a Wave that actually works. Here are a few issues I have documented over the last year: - Mouse will randomly stop moving or become erratic. Mine did it at least once an hour before I finally took a hammer to it and bought a new mouse (which was also Logitech and is now starting to have the same problem. - At least half of the keyboards got the "Flashing battery indicator" problem. - two keyboards had an issue of "lag" where they would work fine for awhile, and then suddenly stop working for a second or two, and then spam the last letter pressed. Unfortunately, thanks to the previous SysAdmin, everyone is comfortable using Waves, so I just continue to replace them. I've started using a wireless mouse and keyboard from Microsoft and haven't had any problems."

"It took me about 2 days to figure out which one to order and I'm just so glad I decided on this one. There are so many to choose from, but I knew mine had to be wireless, have a 10 key keyboard on the right side and be large enough, but not too bulky. Just plop 2 AAA batteries into the back of the keyboard, put a AA battery into the mouse and stick the little nano receiver into your laptop's USB port."
"The keyboard and mouse both connect wirelessly via a small USB drive that is flat (almost flush) to the laptop when plugged in."
"The package was shipped with only the original product box, no outer box whatsoever, and of course some visible dent on it, can't believe it was sold by Amazon themselves."
"We have purchased a number of these for both home and office and so far they have held up and are working great."
"This keyboard is not designed specifically for use with Chrome O/S computers, but it works fine even though you don't use any of the function keys."
"Bought this for $12.50."
"Took the keyboard/mouse out - yes indeed the receiver only says "Nano Receiver", and it doesn't have the orange star unifying logo. One has "Unifying receiver" clearly printed on the box and feature list and the other one doesn't."
"My receiver and my keyboard are literally 16" away from each other and sometimes it still misses words that I type."

"The clicks are short and distinct and the scroll wheel feels smooth. Range: I sometimes use this set with my TV while the PC (connected via long HDMI cable) they're connected to is in a room about 15 feet away and works without interruptions. Overall, a great set and a good price that lasts and is backed by a good brand!"
"Then I needed to get a mouse pad for the mouse to work better and not get hung up (the arrow stops) which is especially annoying when playing games."
"I have been using this for 1 year now with about 10 hours per day with heavy use (I'm a gamer and also software engineer) and must say that I'm quite impress with Logitech endurance and quality on this matter, not a single issue nor problem with it."
"Update: 3/18/16: After using this keyboard for about two years I haven't seen any deterioration in the keyboard and can honestly say that I've only replaced the batteries one time. I purchased a different model of logitech mouse to replace the one that came in the set and the middle click died on it as well so it seems to be a problem with logitech mice in general. If you're disappointed with how loud the keys of this keyboard are, you can purchase a silicone keyboard cover for your keyboard that cuts down on noise significantly."
"distance away from where the keyboard and mouse sit on my desk. Other than that, the keyboard and mouse are great; setup was extremely fast - plugged in the receiver, turned on the keyboard and mouse, and it was ready to use in less than a minute."
"Very disappointed with this, bought it to replace my old Logitech that went bad after many years. The one HUGE annoying feature that unfortunately now I csn not return it is the scroll on the mouse sometimes works on websites and some it doesn't."

"The only downsides are the touch pad which is overly sensitive and sometimes skips a beat or lags a bit and the unit is very light weight (feels kinda cheap)."
"As a specific example, prior to this update if you wanted to launch an app from the "Make" menu, you had to use the OUYA controller, now this is no longer the case, you can fully navigate and select apps using the arrow keys and OK button. As for my durability concerns, the keyboard is still holding up, but it gets a little creaky if you squeeze it with even a small amount of force. On the OUYA, I had to power the system off and on to get it to recognize the H7 for the first time, but it's worked fine ever since then. The device is incredibly light, with some more heft and higher quality materials I'd be more confident in its prospects of surviving a long time. The only other negative thing I have to say is that on VERY rare occasion so far its seemed a key has repeated a little faster than desired when pressed. However, using this makes web browsing and navigating non-game apps much more smooth and efficient than with the OUYA controller and I still highly recommend it."
"PROS: Nice touch intuitive and well laid out keyboard you mostly do not need to look at to use. Rechargeable battery lasts forever and I never turn it off. Touch pad is pretty precise and also works as a left mouse click when tapped. Nice to have the media and directional controls as separate keypads up top. Nice to have the touch pad in the middle up top vs it being on one side or another. CONS: Slightly mushy key press feeling despite the soft click. No back-lit keyboard. miniUSB charging port and not microUSB."
"Since it turns itself off if it hasn't been used for a while, and then takes a few seconds to turn itself back on after you press some key, I found it a good idea to turn the keyboard off after I was done using it, then turn it back on when I was ready to use it again."

"Works great with my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro 13", The Mac recognizes the keyboard when you plug in he USB adaptor that it comes with, and then it prompts you to identify the keyboard type by pushing specific keys and done."
"For anyone who is wondering, not all buttons on every remote work for every box. I wish more remotes came with this!"
"The battery life is extremely long and I hardly ever have to actually plug it in to charge it. Of course the backlit keyboard is very nice for when you are watching something in the dark and need to pause or if you are just plain working in the dark."
"Unit does turn off, probably to save battery, but I found that selecting the Backlight LED button, the keyboard comes alive after a few seconds. I have fat fingers, but the keyboard buttons are not too small so I rarely select an incorrect key."
"Only downside is that I feel that the mouse pad on this version isn't as smooth as the Bluetooth version. But as with the bluetooth version I couldn't even rely on a connection, I'll take it."
"Side note/Neat tip - if you use this for a Kodi box and have a red mute circle appear in the right hand corner of your TV that you can't fix with the volume buttons, use the + sign on the keyboard; it will fix the issue immediately and volume will be restored!"
"Update: After contacting the seller, Mike responded and showed me how to activate the backlit (Fn + F2), so I have changed my rating to 5 stars as the AAA battery does not warrant a whole star deduction."
"A friend thought it was the radio, but I'm unconvinced, since it happens regardless of distance or angle or other nearby devices."

"If it lasts any longer than that, you are in the minority and you should consider yourself a lucky owner of a Wave that actually works". I expect this one will die also but I won't repeat the same behavior when it starts acting up...and I am so sure it will. In some respects I am reviewing this keyboard based on my past two experiences, so let me be fair."
"So far so good."
"Cons: too many additional keys make the keyboard bulky, no CAPS LOCK or Num Lock indicators (on screen only, probably to conserve battery), software is online and separate for mouse and keyboard."

"I would gladly pay a lot more than this new Wave Combo cost for a new Logitech Wave Keyboard, wired or not, if I could use it for at least a year. As for the mouse, I threw it away within a week because it was too buggy from the start. I use one for my laptop and it's always worked great."

SteelSeries Rubber Base Gaming Mouse Pad (450mm x 400mm, Black)
With the use of high quality cloth material, an optimized texture which guarantees both smoothness and glide and a specially designed non-slippery rubber base this pad blows away the competition and is a great choice not only for the hardcore gamer but also for graphic designers and others who use their mouse for extended periods of time. Heavy thickness reduces problems from uneven surfaces, XXL sized.
Reviews
"I really enjoy the 25 to 50% of this mouse pad that I can use."
"For the person(s) complaining about not getting this mouse pad to unroll flat, be smarter than the mouse pad, roll it up the opposite way it was rolled and stick it back in the box for a while, pull it out and it will lay flat, that easy, thank me later."
"The G640 has an excellent, smooth feel, and the precision is incredible. However, it is quite expensive, and it absorbs dust, etc."
"It feels strange to actually be paying for a mouse pad, but all of the free ones I had around were small, thin and poor quality."
"It is nice that the mousepad is large, so no risk of going over the edges; but I find that I only use the bottom left corner of it, probably an area about the size of my old mousepad."
"Mouse mats are one of those things where quality seems to still matter, and you definitely pay the price for going cheap. I pair them with Logitech's LS1 laser mouse and it is a match made in heaven, both at home and in the office. Because these come in a few sizes, I feel it important to point out that if, like me, you just want a more or less standard mouse mat, the QcK Mini is it."
"It's a great material and great size, so, this is where I would draw the line at spending for a mousepad unless I had 50 million dollars."

Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse

"After doing a deep dive for some information, the internet scholars on a couple first-page forums have confirmed a few facts for me. Laser sensors have inherent issues - some complaints on the old 510 were that it exhibited cursor stutters, jitters, and shakes - and the modified design is likely to address those concerns. Fortunately, the folks at Logitech seem to be pragmatists and have figured that, while they took away some of the super-awesome DPI's, the mouse actually performs more satisfactorily during real-world use. I almost didn't even open the packaging because I thought it was counterfeit, so my first time using it was littered with skepticism."
"The new 2nd generation M510 uses a "laser grade" optical sensor whereas the 1st generation M510 used an actual laser sensor."
"This one is only a couple months old (a replacement through Amazon for another purchased one), and will no longer accept a left-click input (and will actually randomly toss in its own). Logitech makes great products, ordinarily, but I cannot recommend a model that has malfunctioned on me three times--especially since it's failed in roughly the same way all three times."
