"I generally only buy Logitech when I get third-party stuff because I trust the quality, and this keyboard is really good EXCEPT for one shocking problem."
"If it lasts any longer than that, you are in the minority and you should consider yourself a lucky owner of a Wave that actually works". I expect this one will die also but I won't repeat the same behavior when it starts acting up...and I am so sure it will. In some respects I am reviewing this keyboard based on my past two experiences, so let me be fair."
"So far so good."
"Cons: too many additional keys make the keyboard bulky, no CAPS LOCK or Num Lock indicators (on screen only, probably to conserve battery), software is online and separate for mouse and keyboard."
"If it lasts any longer than that, you are in the minority and you should consider yourself a lucky owner of a Wave that actually works. Here are a few issues I have documented over the last year: - Mouse will randomly stop moving or become erratic. Mine did it at least once an hour before I finally took a hammer to it and bought a new mouse (which was also Logitech and is now starting to have the same problem. - At least half of the keyboards got the "Flashing battery indicator" problem. - two keyboards had an issue of "lag" where they would work fine for awhile, and then suddenly stop working for a second or two, and then spam the last letter pressed. Unfortunately, thanks to the previous SysAdmin, everyone is comfortable using Waves, so I just continue to replace them. I've started using a wireless mouse and keyboard from Microsoft and haven't had any problems."
"I would gladly pay a lot more than this new Wave Combo cost for a new Logitech Wave Keyboard, wired or not, if I could use it for at least a year. As for the mouse, I threw it away within a week because it was too buggy from the start. I use one for my laptop and it's always worked great."

"I have an ergonomic keyboard at work and decided that I wanted one for home."
"(The old keyboard will be kept as a spare.)."
"The layout of the keys is similar to a standard keyboard but the keys are angled for easy access. It also has 5 programmable keys, as well as the standard audio triplet (mute, volume+, and volume-) It doesn't have the keys for accessing the DVD drive but a shortcut on the desktop will suffice."
"I did not want to take the KB apart and clean the keys that were sticking. This KB is 1/3 the weight of my previous KB. My only complaint is the standard KB shortcuts do not work."
"Eventually I found a way to write a batch file and launch a command session to do the job, then assign it to a function key."
"The browser Forward and Back buttons below cener of the space bar are a lot nicer that you would think when surfing a web site. It comes with an application you can load if you want to that gives you the capability to program a number of buttons to do whatever you want, like launch an application that you use often."
"F-Keys are split set of 5 on the left and 7 on the right - again, just took getting used to it. Traditional keyboard F-Keys are in three sets of 4."
"This is the best rubber dome keyboard ever made (or at least one in the series of microsoft natural keyboards since 1994)."

"Jumped over to the web browser, typed into the google search field no problem, surfed the web for awhile, leaving posts on forums, still no hassles, now the app test: Went into netflix, it let me scroll around with the touchpad, opened the search, went to type, nothing... Now considering I'm not planning on writing any 30 page thesis in Apps, basically just using the search field, and the auto suggest usually tosses up what I'm looking for after two letters have been put in, and the touchpad makes even putting those two letters in 10x's easier than using the remote, not being able to type one or two words into an apps search field is not a deal breaker. with the keyboard, a working and valuable addition to your smart tv., So if you have a Samsung, judge your own use, are you getting it for the web browser?"
"Over 1 year of battery life at many hours a day use.K400 plus vs. K400: The newer version feels more rugged with better quick key layout.Mouse pad works seamless .I can not give it a 5 star rating as the older version's print is much bolder and easier to see in dim light.Neverless I still recommend this product. Thanks Logitech for another quality product at a reasonable price."
"Unfortunately the speed of the trackpad is a tad bit slow (also sometimes sluggish) and isn't configurable on Linux as there's no Logitech driver blob available. I dual booted into Windows to max out the trackpad speed with the Logitech software (as a claim was made that the settings are saved in the keyboard itself) and upon rebooting Linux I think it did help some."
"There were times the remote would go into sleep mode I guess, and it would take a while for it to wake up and start responding. It was a pain since, if you wanted to pause a movie, you would have to sit there and wait until the iPazzPort would wake up and then you could pause."
"Works very well, it's a little bit small so keys are too close to each other."
"The mouse was oddly plasticey and sticks to your finger like a cheap laptop from 2006's trackpad."

"I generally only buy Logitech when I get third-party stuff because I trust the quality, and this keyboard is really good EXCEPT for one shocking problem."
"I decided to use bigger keyboard and mice at home, though I like my Logitech K360 and other Logitech mice. According to Logitech, the keyboard has 3-year battery life, and the mouse has two years. The Logitech SetPoint software (6.67) does not support M510 mouse. I can pair my other Logitech devices in the Unifying Software and manage all of them in SetPoint, but M510 is an exception."
"I've had bouts of carpel tunnel syndrome and wore a wrist brace for awhile, and switched to this set long ago, and it's never returned. The keyboard got a little wonky after about 6 years, which pissed me off at first, but then I decided that's a pretty good life. Unfortunately, I cursed it for months before deciding to shell out for a new one, wondering if it was another factor and I'd pay all that money and have the same problem. If people think this is an unrealistic expectation, maybe I'll add back a star."
"Overall Satisfied, wishing it had a trackpad that was capable of Mac level gestures, Dreaming of Windows being even remotely as awesome as Mac OS.... Dreaming, dreaming, dreaming..."

"After doing a deep dive for some information, the internet scholars on a couple first-page forums have confirmed a few facts for me. Laser sensors have inherent issues - some complaints on the old 510 were that it exhibited cursor stutters, jitters, and shakes - and the modified design is likely to address those concerns. Fortunately, the folks at Logitech seem to be pragmatists and have figured that, while they took away some of the super-awesome DPI's, the mouse actually performs more satisfactorily during real-world use. I almost didn't even open the packaging because I thought it was counterfeit, so my first time using it was littered with skepticism."
"The new 2nd generation M510 uses a "laser grade" optical sensor whereas the 1st generation M510 used an actual laser sensor."
"This one is only a couple months old (a replacement through Amazon for another purchased one), and will no longer accept a left-click input (and will actually randomly toss in its own). Logitech makes great products, ordinarily, but I cannot recommend a model that has malfunctioned on me three times--especially since it's failed in roughly the same way all three times."

"I really enjoy the 25 to 50% of this mouse pad that I can use."
"For the person(s) complaining about not getting this mouse pad to unroll flat, be smarter than the mouse pad, roll it up the opposite way it was rolled and stick it back in the box for a while, pull it out and it will lay flat, that easy, thank me later."
"The G640 has an excellent, smooth feel, and the precision is incredible. However, it is quite expensive, and it absorbs dust, etc."
"It feels strange to actually be paying for a mouse pad, but all of the free ones I had around were small, thin and poor quality."
"It is nice that the mousepad is large, so no risk of going over the edges; but I find that I only use the bottom left corner of it, probably an area about the size of my old mousepad."
"Mouse mats are one of those things where quality seems to still matter, and you definitely pay the price for going cheap. I pair them with Logitech's LS1 laser mouse and it is a match made in heaven, both at home and in the office. Because these come in a few sizes, I feel it important to point out that if, like me, you just want a more or less standard mouse mat, the QcK Mini is it."
"It's a great material and great size, so, this is where I would draw the line at spending for a mousepad unless I had 50 million dollars."
