The plastic lens cover over the LEDs is now a frosted (milky) type which diffuses the light giving it a softer and more even light distribution. In the first photo you will see a close-up of one of the two light "heads" showing the new frosted lens over the LEDs which help diffuse the light much like a frosted light bulb. In the second photo you will see a comparison of the relative light brightness (intensity) between full (highest) brightness in the top "head" and the dimmest (lowest) brightness in the lower "head"."
