"Lemonade is the sixth album from R&B singer Beyoncé. The album is presented in most discussion so far as a kiss-off to Jay Z and while that’s certainly one way to read it, Lemonade also gets into how cheating has been generational within the Knowles family (Beyoncé’s mother and sister were both cheated on as well) and connects this to how women (and specifically, black women) are always treated with disregard in this country. But speaking as someone who doesn’t really listen to much mainstream pop and who didn’t give two hoots about most of her music prior to 4 (I put this out there only to make it clear that I’m not Beyhive, I’m not unduly biased in favour of Beyoncé), I think Beyoncé has grown into our bravest, most adventurous, most exciting pop icon. I generally don't review albums but I had to express how much love I have for Lemonade."

With a brief pause at the 2:30 mark Joe unleashes a primal guitar solo for the next two minutes only to drop you off right back where he left you to finish off the song. Then there's "No Good Place For The Lonely" an 8:33 killer where at 5:00 he unleashes for the remainder of the song; leaving you to just shake your head in wonder."

Joe Bonamassa's voice is perfect for this kind of rockin' bluesy sound. ❖ Mountain Climbing - The opening riff on this song gets your blood moving. ❖ Drive - This brings the tempo down a notch, but keeps the intensity high...if that makes any sense. ❖ No Good Place For the Lonely - Has a more typical blue sound, though it's distinctive. ❖ Distant Lonesome Train - The beat certainly smacks you in the face to start this song. ❖ How Deep This Rivers Runs - Starts off slow and mild but really picks up. Joe's bluesy voice with the slow jazz music is a GREAT combo. It's the song you want to hear at the end of the show when you still want to feel the music but you're too tired to dance anymore. ❖ What I've Known For a Very Long Time - GREAT blues guitar riff to open this song. The vocals kick in and it's a softer song that's the perfect end to the album."

(Full disclosure: when it comes to seventh graders, it is hard to beat flesh-eating zombies who can flat out dance.). I have received several notes from parents thanking me for introducing them to Stirling (and to a lesser extent, The Piano Guys, 2Cellos and some others). In addition to Stirling, we have The Piano Guys, David Garrett, Bond, Vanessa Mae, 2Cellos, and others producing music that doesn't readily fit into any current node. To my ear, they have the same basic rhythm and sound, but seem richer in supportive percussion and orchestration. "Roundtable Rival" has terrific guitar rifts, reminiscent of AC/DC and other classic rock groups."
