We found that the wire antenna works great for all the local FM radio stations ( about 25 miles out) as we rolled the wire around two fingers and left about 3 inches hanging, then used a plastic tie wrap to cinch it in the center close to where it comes out of the radio. The LED light on the side and weather radio is great for night time outside use."
