"The FM radio antenna is a 15" or so insulated wire, about 22 gauge. Outside in Central Florida and daily summer deluge rain storms? We found that the wire antenna works great for all the local FM radio stations ( about 25 miles out) as we rolled the wire around two fingers and left about 3 inches hanging, then used a plastic tie wrap to cinch it in the center close to where it comes out of the radio.
