Power Boost Technology: New feature automatically increases suction power when extra vacuuming strength is needed to get the best clean.

"I've owned 3 of the original, better well known robot vacs and I always felt like none were really engineered to work in a real family environment (area rugs, pets, kids, etc...). I saw a review combined with a low price alert on one of the many gadget blogs I read and I accidentally bought this thing... I'm pretty sure the algorithm for moving around objects in the other robot vacs was better, but the algorithms don't mean much when the gadget can't effectively do its main purpose."
"We have owned several roomba early models over the years, and we have been mostly underwhelmed with overall suction, noise, and pickup power for the $300~$500 range robot vacuums. Skeptical but curious, we picked this "little RoboVac that could" on a whim, without expecting much given its' very reasonable price. This overgrown hockey puck eats more socks and stray underwear than our dogs! The suction on this compact little dust demon is so strong that the exhaust port on its side, makes our curtains billow from 5 feet away, while on MAX mode. In standard cleaning mode, our Euphy runs well over two hours on a single charge. Full disclosure, I sadistically tucked away the charging station three rooms away. This little dust, dirt, dog-hair, underwear, sock, phone charging cable gobbling little robot vacuum."
"The Eufy has only finished one vacuum cycle, so I clearly can't speak to longevity, but just some general early observations for anyone considering this brand new model. It picked up a lot of cat hair that the Roomba wouldn't have, and the floors look just as good as they do when we do a full vacuuming. The one issue I did find with this was that for things like chairs with dust ruffles, the Roomba would have gone right through the dust ruffle to clean under the chair, but the Eufy views it as a solid vertical surface and turns around to go somewhere else. Overall we're very happy with it so far, and my mind is blown that in three years, Anker managed to make a vacuum so much better than our old Roomba at around half the price."
"Small and quite quiet. Dust bin the size of vermont. Dog hair disappeared."

"It reminds me of things I bought in the past which I wasn't sure I needed, but once I started using them, wondered why I had waited so long. I've watched it disappear under low end tables and thought, "uh, oh, I'm going to have to rescue it from that tight space", and then it whirs, reverses, backs, jogs, tilts, and exits the maze and keeps on cleaning. Note to those who have trouble connecting it to their home wifi network: I had the same problem, but found I needed to stand very close (4-5 feet) to the unit when I started the network sync up, then everything went smoothly."
"Also the fact that Roombas are well known to not do a great job on carpet unless you buy the really expensive one and even then some people complain. Upon arrival I unboxed it and noted the high quality engineering, extra side brushes and spare filter. I let it run for about 30 minutes, then checked the pickup bin and was horrified at the amount of stuff this thing got off my man-cave carpet. Not a huge deal of course, but added a small 1-2lb piece of metal in the bottom would really improve the feel and stability of the station. Reluctantly I decided to check the catch bin and again was horrified at the amount of debris it picked up.. Where did it find all of those toenail clippings??? My wife was 100% impressed with how incredibly well it cleaned our first floor - a mix of rugs and hardwood. (Android) I had great difficulty getting the Deebot to connect to the app then realized why - I had AP Isolation on between SSID's.. Alternatively, you can put the Deebot into WLAN mode and connect directly to it from your phone/app using it's built in hotspot. So much so, I purchased a second one a couple days later since my wife refused to give up the little guy for the main floor. We have a dog and a cat, and kids.. We literally have to vacuum everyday to keep the house feeling and looking clean. I can imagine saving hundreds of hours of work over a year or two AND having a much cleaner home."
"We have a mixture of laminate floors, tile and carpet in our house, and we have 4 cats and 2 dogs that continuously shed so keeping the floors clean is a challenge. I use the DEEBOT about 3 times a week to clean the entire house and it keeps my floors super clean. I use the Spot Option every day to pick up the cardboard from the cat scratcher that my cat shreds, it's super easy to direct it to the spot I want cleaned and let it do it's thing. The DEEBOT is very easy to empty and the trash bin holds a lot for such a tiny vacumn and the filters are easy to clean, they even provide you with a special tool to clean the filters and roller."

"If you have a very messy house with lots of stuff laying around on the floor like bedding, shoes with laces, towels, laundry, workout barbells, toys or furniture that is lower or right at 3 3/4" high underneath, or a puppy that is not housebroken, yeah it happened, not once but three times! This IS for you if you are very neat and have nothing laying around, you have a cat or dog that sheds and you just don't have time to vacuum every day, then Yes Yes Yes you will be over joyed with this robot! It got under my beds, bathroom vanity, most dressers, my commercial fridge, the sofa, the bar, all my tables, the dining room set, behind the recliners and what was in all those places left me speechless! It was sometimes able to tilt on the edge of a rug close to the dresser and force its way underneath where it was stuck in circles and the battery eventually ran out. The unit goes back to the charger on its own unless it gets trapped in an area by clutter and runs the battery dead. This happened in the workout room several times when it got stuck between a barbell, total gym and an exercise bike, again, not for those with lots of stuff. This for me, even though I am somewhat of a clutter bug, was still worth having especially for keeping up with two small shedding dogs and a heavily used kitchen with flour everywhere. We have become very good at taking the brushes, door, wheels etc off the Roomba and it does come apart easily for thorough cleaning but do try to avoid poo, it's not pretty!"
"We recently built a decent sized home, and our downstairs is around 2800 sq ft. Keeping up on vacuuming/sweeping was almost impossible with 2 young kids a cat and a dog! Our GreatRoom/Kitchen/Dinning/Laundry is all hard surfaces (tile and hardwood) and this thing picks up nearly EVERYTHING that falls on the floor! There's been one time over the past 2 weeks he caught up a string from a cat toy and stopped. I hope these machines to continually get better (smarter, as in map a room without setting up laser fences)."
"I doubted the robot's ability to properly vacuum and wasn't willing to gamble a few hundred bucks to let it try to prove me wrong. In the box is the Roomba, charging/home base, an extra filter, invisible gate with included batteries (more on that in a bit), and a cleaning multitool. Just put in your wifi info and press 2 buttons on the top of the Roomba and it syncs up in under a minute. It shows you the most recent jobs detailing their duration, dirt detect count (times when it detected dirt deposits), status (if it completed the job, was cancelled, something happened etc) and the date and time it was started. The app keeps you posted of the progress, sending you a message when the job is completed or if there is an issue such as if your Roomba is stuck or is having any functional problems. I've pulled change, bobby pins, silica gel packs and even a metal bracket from a bed frame out of the bin. It has run over phone charging cords without destroying them, although we do make it a habit to keep them off the floor these days. Again, I haven't actually tracked its path to determine that every square inch of floor is covered, it just has me suspicious. In researching, I found that the 900 series models have a camera and more sophisticated tracking that leads them to take more logical paths and bump into things less. While I would've greatly appreciated the opportunity to review one of those models, I'm not looking a gift robot in the brushes. The first mode is just a straight beam you can use to block off doorways without closing the door. The results really speak for themselves and alleviate any concerns I have about it covering the entire breadth of my upstairs. It's comforting knowing that we don't have a colony of dust bunnies amassing beneath our beds, biding their time until they reach critical mass - launching an offensive to usurp my family and claim the house as their own. It's very light and easy to move around if you want to put it to work outside its normal domain. I don't have anything blocking it from our stairs and when it gets to the edge of the landing, it hits the brakes and turns around without fail. Having it automatically vacuum daily is perfect for those with pets as it ensures that hair and dander isn't building up within your carpet."

"The Dirt Devil was a decent product but quit working after 2 years. Decided to buy the top of the line this time, and if this one didn't work out, I am done with robotic pool cleaners. Still cleaning like a champ. My only concern is longevity, but with a 3 year warranty I feel at least somewhat confident that this will go the distance."
"We have a busy schedule and don't have the luxury of time to manually go around pool with traditional vacuum to get dirt out every day. Pool construction is just about done but we've used the cleaner probably around 20 times already as landscaping around the inground pool (plus the constant high winds we've had lately) keep the pool dirty thus requiring the use of the robot. I find myself washing them with hose after almost every time which is the reason I stop using them for the time being. I think those are mainly for a pretty clean pool. Until the pool is done being landscaped, I'll stick with the big bag made of canvas. The unit only seems to run a process for about an hour and this cannot be adjusted to my knowledge for say 2 or 3 hours at a time. The buttons on power pack are only for how many times a week but who actually uses the robot like that? The robot constantly gets stuck straddling those hopper lines where is doesn't have a flat surface to run on."
"Its filter volume is too small compared to polaris, it is hard to access the filter, it just hangs out in the middle of the swimming pool, it does not got to two ends of the pool."
"So much for the "no nonsense warranty" Maytronics advertises on their web site and their promise of rapid repairs and modular design (direct quote from their site is below): "Rapid Repairs: we understand that you didn't invest in a robotic cleaner to manually clean your pool. Why in the world do I have to pay quite a bit for sending the whole product, including the power box to them, and be out of service for at least a week+ when the only thing that needs to be done is the replacement of one of the "DIY component in about 10 minutes?""
"The product seems to be working fairly well, though I see it occasionally passing over top of the smaller particles and not gathering them."

"I know everyone wants their kids to be little scientists, but chances are your kid isn't going to be able to follow the directions for this on their own unless they are above 10 years old and mechanically inclined, or have decent experience with model assembly. I would suggest a decent pair of kitchen shears to help snap out some of the pieces and an Exacto knife or straight razor to shave off the little pieces that tend to snap off with the pieces needed for assembly. DO NOT just snap out all the pieces and try to assemble this project. I directed him to follow the instructions and when he had a tough time, I set it up like it was in the blow-apart and had him snap it together, and he still had a tough time with some of the assembly."
"Took them a good 4 sessions to complete the easier model and all of them were outside racing their bots outside in the sun."
"When I received the shipment it was a different model (7 in 1 Kit) I called Find Cool Toys and they apologized for the error and told me I could keep the kit for free and they sent me the larger kit later that week."
"Got this as a gift for my stepson but haven't received any complaints."
"I have a grandchild that is busy all of the time."
"We trimmed all the plastic edges off, we made sure all gears were correctly fitted, it will not take on any energy from sun or lamps."
"sooo i ordered this for my son for christmas and the solar panel did not work."

"It has several drawbacks however, it is loud, I mean V8 engine loud, so if someone was planning to use this for some intel for a stealthy HRT maneuver, be sure to keep it far away. But first ask yourself, Do I really need to shell out 20,000 for this robot, well the answer is yes, if you intend on using it to it's limit, or if you found Mommies Credit Card."
"this thing is extremely expensive however it might be useful for building a nerf tank."

"Once you follow the directions to calibrate the control its ready to fly. The camera on it takes very good quality pictures. There is several modes to choose from when flying this drone. I cannot tell you the things it has hit and fell into and still works like the day we got it. We have a big fish pond in our front yard and unfortunately it went for a swim. The batteries take about an hour or so to fully charge. My hubby is pretty satisfied with this drone."
"The camera the can take pictures, record video, and it can send live video to his phone through the app for it. It take him a minute to get the hang of flying this but he got it down he can fly in our house, garage, but out side is the funniest. My husband really wanted a a drone that he didn't have to worry about registering with the FAA, and this drone he doesn't have too."
