Reviews
"First put each one in only a bit using your fingers to make sure everything is lined up and then tighten each one bit by bit using the Allen wrench, going from bolt to bolt (as many as are in the current step in the instructions) until all are tight. In putting the tables onto the assembled frame, I had to struggle a bit to make sure the 4th bolt was aligned, but it was not so bad as to need a new pilot hole."
"The table tops are both really solid and the whole setup seems to have no flex with the foot pads adjusted to compensate for my wonky floor. My only gripe is the pre-drilled holes...I ended up putting the screws in most of the way with a drill before removing them and then attaching the table tops to the frame."
"I'm 6 foot 2 and my monitors are still a few inches lower than they should be even sitting on isolating pads. The plastic "sticker" that makes the desk black has a seam right on the bottom front edge of the desk and since they are so close together my hands are scraping the bottom right at the seam peeling back the sticker more and more and removing skin from my knuckles."
"I re-drilled all the pilot holes - started with a 1/16 and then moved to 3/32 and finally used a 3/16 to get an acceptable pilot hole so I didn't have to kill myself to screw the panels on. Finally, screwing the table top in was absurd -- the frame's screw holes are completely blocked by the cross-bar - you have to struggle to bend your screwdriver around that and sorta try to screw those in on an angle - and you absolutely cannot use a power driver so my hands almost fell apart after doing all 4 screws."
"All said and done, this COULD be a fantastic product with better packaging, handling, instruction, and sliders for the keyboard drawer."

"When it arrived I was a bit skeptical as the foam appears rather firm (I was more thinking of something as soft was a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress). But boy was I in for a surprise: not only does this base keep the needle from jumping (a Yamahe MC-1000 with only 1.2 grams of balanced weight on a 20 lbs Thorens TD-318), but also completely eliminates any footsteps from reaching the needle."
"I wish they would reduce the size of the logo so that is covered by the turntable, and I also wish they made the foam black, keep it black on black and it will look much sleeker."
"Didn't cure the acoustic feedback issues I was having with my Rega turntable, but it sure looks nice."
"I really had my doubts, but this product is the real deal."
"Effective and looks great under my new Thorens TD-309 turntable."
"It didn't fit my VPI TT despite what others erroneously said."
"Isolates my Denon turntable from the shelf it sits quite well."
"Does what it do wonderfully!!"

Reviews
"The side is very sloppily assembled, not well aligned, and they tried to cover up scratches and bad welding with black magic marker. Seeing how the sides are assembled, I wouldn't be comfortable having this mounted without having a couple gusset brackets underneath it, and that's when it's empty."
"In practice, however, I ran into a few snags. I gave the rack five stars because the issues I ran into were clearly a lack of planning, but I thought I would post this warning that a 20" deep rack is probably a better investment if you're not absolutely certain of the dimensions of all the equipment going into this rack before it is purchased."
"It's very very well made with thoughtful touches like the ability to swing out from the wall. It's been in place for half a year and making changes to equipment or repairs is facilitated by opening panels and the hinge at the back allowing it to swing out from the wall. If you plan to use the latter feature you may want to make sure your cables that exit the back of the case do so on the hinge side."

Reviews
"Inexpensive tray for your Rack Mount."
"It's made from heavy gague metal and the screw holes line up properly."
"I noticed too it can bend pretty easy, so you need to be cognizant of what you are placing on this rack, not anything too heavy."
"I have a number of components (Roku, FireTV, switch, cable modem, router, etc.)."
"I don't believe it will ever break and I'm going to keep it, but would be nice to be a bit sturdier."
"I am using this network rack tray to hold a 5-port Netgear managed switch, a Ubiquiti ERL-3 and a Raspberry Pi with no issues and plenty of room to spare."
"I don't know what weight it'll hold, but mine is holding lighter products."
"This unit will do the job I bought it to do with only two screws."

Best Recording Studio Acoustical Treatments

Monoprice 602650 Microphone Isolation Shield
Ambient and reflected sound can be a problem when recording acoustic and vocal tracks, especially in a "live" studio environment. This acoustic shield features an acoustic foam front and a vented metal back plate.
Reviews
"Build quality is nice, it feels solid and you can kill elephants with this thing, if needed."
"The feet on the bottom is pretty handy for those who might need set this on a desk for recording or whatever."
"As many others have stated it is rather heavy and it would have been nice to have a thread adapter for smaller microphones, but for actual sound isolation I have no complaints whatsoever."
"The mic cord goes up through the pipe into the wall. There are clamps on the back which easily fit onto a one inch pipe and the middle leg also comes off which would allow it to be threaded onto a mic stand rather than clamped."
"Great product, I use it on a desk in a room with some basic soundproofing, I'm getting fantastic recording quality, with audio that only needs to be tweaked, as opposed to heavily filtered and edited with noise reduction."
"This isolation shield comes with an attachment in the rear to connect your mic suspension boom to - or if you prefer, you can attach your mic to the mic stand that is included."
"very heavy for the mic stand I have, will have to buy a stronger mic stand and comes with absolutely no instructions on how to set it up!"
"I was looking at more expensive options but decided to go with this Monoprice reflector and I'm glad I did. The one I bought from Amazon is the post Audio heavy duty stand for $50. I completely recommend this if you're just starting out your home studio and need something that's affordable but works GREAT."

"I preach on campuses and on the streets and was looking for a heavy duty stand that would elevate my wireless Half Mile Hailer speaker system. I purchased the Pyle-Pro based on the huge number of positive reviews, and am glad that I did."
"Since she already had 2 left/right floor standing speakers and 2 surround sound speakers on Atlantic Satellite stands so the problem was how to place the center channel speaker at the right height behind her TV and entertainment stand."
"I needed a single speaker stand for my duo - I have hydraulic stands for the full band (that work great), but I wanted to keep my duo gear and my full band gear separate so I wouldn't have to swap bags or forget to pack or bring something."
"After a few light uses, the knob which tightens the tripod legs stripped, rendering the stand useless and dangerous. I ran a test of 5 stars which went right through, but the real review (which I attached our conversation) did not. -Darren. 4/8/2015 12:00:59 PM. That's all we can do. 4/8/2015 9:21:27 AM. PYLE. "Both the speaker mounting hole and the tripod tube indicate they are 35mm diameter, so I am not sure what I'm supposed to do now?"
"I've run live sound for years and have set up and taken down this stand and many other brands over the years."
