NewellRubbermaid is the company that now owns Paper Mate, so it is no surprise that they would move manufacturing to foreign soil. They have ruined the name of a fantastic American company by sacrificing quality and integrity for an easy buck, the same as they did with the original Rubbermaid containers. NewellRubbermaid thinks they can fool us and charge more for cheap, low quality knock-off products."

"I have used the Triplus markers for many years, and within the last one added the Stabilos into the mix for some further variation of color (other comparisons as of yet withstanding). I have some slight suspicions that the shape of the marker gives it some kind of increased structural integrity, but I won't theorize those things here. Just the facts - half of the Stabilos died horrible deaths, the others are permanently disfigured, and the Triplus markers are like the survivors of a grisly plane crash that managed not to even have a scratch on them."

I had to scribble like mad on a few of them and some of them were already thinning which was sad to see.
