"I have used the Triplus markers for many years, and within the last one added the Stabilos into the mix for some further variation of color (other comparisons as of yet withstanding). I have some slight suspicions that the shape of the marker gives it some kind of increased structural integrity, but I won't theorize those things here. Just the facts - half of the Stabilos died horrible deaths, the others are permanently disfigured, and the Triplus markers are like the survivors of a grisly plane crash that managed not to even have a scratch on them."
"The point measures about .3mm. You can write on the thinnest paper with minimal bleed thru. Some of the Caps, which fit snuggly on the point end, are not so snug on the butt end and may fall off with use; infrequent, and I have a quick solution for this as I am sure others do as well."

They're matte in color, the shaft is bare, with a very cheap quality screen print "Paper Mate" marking on it. In the face of the United State's current economic crisis, and the obvious need for American manufacturing, it is shameful of Paper mate's parent company to kill even more jobs and pass this low quality product off on the consumers. NewellRubbermaid is the company that now owns Paper Mate, so it is no surprise that they would move manufacturing to foreign soil. They have ruined the name of a fantastic American company by sacrificing quality and integrity for an easy buck, the same as they did with the original Rubbermaid containers. NewellRubbermaid thinks they can fool us and charge more for cheap, low quality knock-off products."

"The tips are extremely fine, and so far I have used these pens on computer paper, regular stationary paper, journals, composition books, magazines, and in adult coloring books, and they did not bleed through any of the mentioned paper. I also recommend these pens for those who use adult coloring books because the colors are extremely vivid, and you can leave the caps off without the pens drying out, so you can switch between as many colors as long and as often as you want. So, if you like the keep your caps on the ends of your pens while you work, they will come off very easily; it's best to just keep them fully off while using."

As you'll see in my photos, some of them required some scribbling to get started or were already in the process of thinning out as I used them. You get 6 neon colors, 14 glitter colors, 8 pastel colors, 4 amazing colors (I have no idea why they're called amazing - they're your standard black, blue, red, and green ink), and 10 metallic colors. I had to scribble like mad on a few of them and some of them were already thinning which was sad to see. If I had to rank them by how well they write, it would be glitter > metallic > neon > amazing (wrote well, but ranked low because there weren't many colors and one required scribbling) > pastel."
