"I need to purchase one more for the outside door flap that’s worn too but waiting to see how the new one holds up first since these flaps aren’t cheap."
"I bought this to add to my one flap doggie door."
"You don't know how relieved I was to find this replacement flap that fit our doggie door perfectly."
"We had to cut a hole in our metal panel at the bottom of the screen enclosure and supplied template was a big help."
"Fit my petsafe dog door like a glove."
"There is a bar on the other side of the door that needs to be held together while you are screwing it into the door bracket."
"I have found PetSafe doors and flaps to be very durable over the years."
"It trims easily with scissors so there's no real problem with the door."

"I have a lovely and very curious cat who can't stand closed doors, so she scratches and cries until she can get in, just to get out again. I also propped the door flap ajar with a tissue paper to shoe her the possibility of passing through."
"The door between the shop and offices is hollow, which was no problem due to the fact that the sides of this "cat flap" telescope and cover the open area left by the hole cut in the door. We followed the directions as far as how high off the floor to install the cat flap...measured from the floor to the top of the cat's shoulders and added 2 inches, which in our case meant the top of the cat flap frame is 14" off the floor. I like the magnet at the bottom of the door which holds the door secure, but it did add a little more training time because it takes a bit of a push on the cat's part to open. I thought about taking the magnet out but am glad I was just a little more patient with training and left it alone since the magnet adds to the door's ability to close tightly enough to keep the dust out, as do the little "bristles" all the way around the edge of the window part of the cat flap. One thing we do, though, is, when the cat flap is locked at night, we rigged a "shade" on the office side of the door that gets pulled when the flap gets locked so Buster can't see through to the other side. Shade down, door locked; Shade up, door open. The door is brown, the cat flap is white, and if I installed it at home, I might consider painting it with a Krylon plastic spray paint to blend in better."
"After installing the door I've discovered that clear plastic is good - it allows the cat to look out before she exits, and she can scope out the weather and look for other cats! Yep, this is a good cat door."
"I bought this so my cats could come and go to my bedroom without having to leave my door open all of the time."
"I installed it on a hollow, paneled bedroom door so that I can close the door and lock it at night, but my cat still has access in and out to get to litter box. Ideal Pet Products 6.25-by-6.25-Inch Lockable Cat Flap with Telescoping FrameMy cat wouldn't use it at first, so I rigged it open with some twine."
"I also gently pried off the magnet that holds the flap closed to make it easier for the cats to go in and out."

"I noted right away that the template was significantly larger than the actual opening of the arch. I followed the template... and wound up with a hole that was so much larger than the insert, that the 3M sticky tape doesn't even fully contact the door (but hangs over into the opening). Rather than use their template, I suggest flipping one of the pieces upside down and tracing the groove yourself onto a piece of paper before potentially ruining a very nice solid wood door."
"I bought this to make my own car door through a wall to access space under my stairs."
"Love this, I hate my wife's cat but it made my wife pretty happy that the cat can come into out bedroom at will now and claw the dogs while they sleep."
"This is just what we needed to give our cat access to his litter box in the basement."
"They put this door into the door."
"Kind of pricey for a plastic insert, but worth it in my opinion."
"My bed/bath is on the main path to everything, and since the litter box is in my bathroom it wasn't convenient to close my door when guests were in the house."
"I used a bit of white caulk to seal the gaps after I was finished, and I used the Black & Decker 4.5 amp Jigsaw which was small and inexpensive and did well for me with a hollow door."

"I love the carpet squares on them so my dogs don't slide around when going up or down the stairs."
"It is just the right height for my couch."
"We have a 6lb yorkie who is almost 2 yrs old and after we added a 3" memory foam topper to our pillow top king bed he was having difficulty getting into our bed."
"I have a rescued young 4yr old pit bull and a rescued older 13yr old pit bull. I recommend steps for anyone with an elderly dog."
"I would recommend these for any one who has an animal that needs steps."
"But she has always ignored the ramp that my stepdad made for her, and any other attempts to stop her from jumping, so this is progress!"
"Purchased so aging Yorkie can get up and down from couch without hurting himself. Took a little practice for dog to use properly., still a little skitish using at times."
"I ended up taping a rug gripper over the whole top and that solved the problem, but if the carpet was on the whole top that would be a lot better."

Best Outdoor Cat Pens

ABO Gear Happy Habitat for Indoor Cats
The Happy Habitat gives a breath of fresh air for your indoor cats. Keeps your indoor kitties safe and sound outdoors.
Reviews
"I definitely prefer the ABO to the Feline Fun House. The one and only time I tried to break down the Feline Fun House, I spent 30 minutes trying to follow the "easy" break down directions, and ended up bending the support wires, and the Feline Funhouse never opened up fully again (since I accidentally bent the supports, in trying to break it down, to transport it.). There is no way the Feline Fun House would ever fit into the bag it came in when you try to break it down. The Feline Fun House has parts that are made of blue fabric that your cat can not see through. The ABO is definitely larger then the Feline Fun House, in that it is taller. My cat has discovered that if you run into the sides of the tent, it moves (as does the Feline Fun House)."
"I've been wanting to purchase something for my indoor cats to safely enjoy the outdoors for years. I was surprised and thought at least one cat would be frightened, eager to return inside, or desperately trying to figure a way out. Please consider purchasing this or a similar item for your indoor cats to enrich their lives. I can't speak to durability with cat escape attempts, since my elderly cats have been very content to just sit and enjoy themselves. My 15-year old tuxedo cat Cooper recently passed away, and I am SO incredibly thankful for this product as he was able to more richly enjoy his final years, stretching himself out in the direct sunlight as cats should."
"You just grab the strings at the top and pull about 10 inches and the thing just pops open."
"Update August 23, 2017: I'm lazy and started leaving it set up all the time instead of taking it down when they aren't using it. Being exposed to full sun all day has caused it to fade, and the fabric sleeve on one of the supports is about an inch from tearing completely. It was an excellent price and helped me determine if my cats enjoyed being outdoors."
