"Sometimes during the night he gets too hot and will jump off the bed, then 10 minutes later he will get back on the bed. He learned how to use them in about five minutes and now uses them to get up AND down from bed which I assume will reduce his back pain by sparing him the impact of the jump down."

The one and only time I tried to break down the Feline Fun House, I spent 30 minutes trying to follow the "easy" break down directions, and ended up bending the support wires, and the Feline Funhouse never opened up fully again (since I accidentally bent the supports, in trying to break it down, to transport it.). There is no way the Feline Fun House would ever fit into the bag it came in when you try to break it down. The Feline Fun House has parts that are made of blue fabric that your cat can not see through. The ABO is definitely larger then the Feline Fun House, in that it is taller. My cat has discovered that if you run into the sides of the tent, it moves (as does the Feline Fun House)."

I was surprised and thought at least one cat would be frightened, eager to return inside, or desperately trying to figure a way out. Please consider purchasing this or a similar item for your indoor cats to enrich their lives. I can't speak to durability with cat escape attempts, since my elderly cats have been very content to just sit and enjoy themselves.
