The toy is attached to this line with some fishing swivel tackle - also easy to replace if damaged. My only concern is that the bell might be small enough to swallow, but since this toy is supposed to be interactive, my cat should never be using it unsupervised."
"The fishing pole and fish were dragged around the house for three days (between playing sessions) before one of the kittens bit through the fishing line. If we can find the fish, we will be repairing fishing pole (the string looks similar to fishing tackle I've seen at the store). It is very high quality, and even if we can't find the fish, we'll probably sew a loop on some other toy so they can get back to playing with in (just have to get to the sporting goods store for the tackle)."
