"I really like this shampoo! This shampoo did a great job getting my dogs and cat clean. The key is to wet the dog and do a light shampooing, rinse that shampoo (you don't have to get it all out) then shampoo the dog again and really work it down to the skin. The reason for the two shampoos is that the first one breaks the oil the dog or cat naturally has while the second shampoo is able to penetrate the coat more deeply and get to the skin. If you're only shampooing your dog once, you're not getting your dog nearly as clean as you could be."

I used to bath my dogs twice a week since they love to roll around in the yard and I've noticed when I rinse after shampooing the water is no longer dark brown. This shampoo leaves his fur soft and smelling good but because he gets weekly baths I have to use a skin conditioning rinse (homemade) and a leave in spray when his fur is long during winter. This is my non-sticky skin and hair conditioner rinse recipe : 1 cup of warm water, 1 Tablespoon Raw Coconut Oil; 2 Tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel; 1-2 Drops vegetable glycerin; 1-2 Drop vitamin E oil (I use a Sunflower VitE that has several ingredients including rice bran which is soothing to the skin, but it is really thick so I use sparingly) I rinse him after it sits on his skin/fur for about five minutes."

"When I washed my dog's, I followed the directions on the bottle and left the shampoo on for 2 minutes, rinsed, massage conditioner in and left that on for 3 minutes then rinsed and dried. The first hing I noticed immediately was how easily the shampoo and conditioner rinsed off without leaving a residual feeling . After washing her I left the shampoo on for 5 minutes and massage it in, rinsed and conditioned her, which i left on for about 7 minutes. Her skin is so dry that after a bath, once her fur is dry, she is full of dandruff again. It has now been one week since I have washed her with the shampoo and conditioner, and there is not a flake of dandruff on her."
