"We have 2 large dogs (85 lbs and 92 lbs) and two big trucks (large SUV and GMC Sierra - tall pick-up truck) and this works just fine."
"No more fears of my dog leaping from my bed and hurting herself, and no more crying at night from her wanting to get up on the bed."
"I had the smaller one but my 22 year old cat started finding them difficult to use (after 2 years) and so I bought him the bigger one."
"They are sturdy, but do shift if my small dog (twenty pounds) jumps onto them or off. The rug-type material that comes with the steps is very helpful for footing and traction on the treads. The steps also come with small rubber dots that act as a non-slip on hardwood or other similar type floors."
"This portable stair set is surprisingly sturdy. It has taken a little guided practice for my Spaniel-Lab companion to gain confidence in ascending the stairs to the bed or the car herself, but the unit holds her weight well, and so it accomplishes its purpose."
"The stairs seem sturdy enough - my dog weighs around 65lbs, and there is no wobble when he goes up or down."
"We have 4 pets and a high, king sized bed that we all share. The Solvit PupSTEP in X-large was purchased in hopes that the dogs would use it to get on our bed by themselves. male Yorkie eventually learned how to use it after coaxing with many treats spread out on the steps - so that's one less dog we need to carry up."
"Our bed is very high, and these steps work perfectly for our older dog. The stairs are very light, which is great when carrying them, but dangerous when the dog goes from the bed to the stairs."

"I love the carpet squares on them so my dogs don't slide around when going up or down the stairs."
"It is just the right height for my couch."
"We have a 6lb yorkie who is almost 2 yrs old and after we added a 3" memory foam topper to our pillow top king bed he was having difficulty getting into our bed."
"I have a rescued young 4yr old pit bull and a rescued older 13yr old pit bull. I recommend steps for anyone with an elderly dog."
"I would recommend these for any one who has an animal that needs steps."
"Right out of the box, these stairs were pretty easy to build."
"Our young Aussie learned to go up and down these steps in minutes so he can join us where ever we are until he is able to make the jump up on his own."
"I put a treat on each step, then a final one on the bed."

"Pictured is Tonto at age 3 months, bringing his "Squirrely" up onto the bed!"
"Her hind legs have a wider stance than the stairs so she doesn't really stay on while going up. She likes to sit on bed with her paws on the stairs."
"I purchased the wider version because the steps, of course, are wider and carpeted (as shown) and makes her feel safer in using it, like regular steps. I gave it 4 stars since we've just recently received it and began using it; otherwise, with practice, I would give it 5 stars."
"I purchased the 3-step Pet Gear Easy Step when one of my cats injured her right hind leg. All three of them love the carpet on the steps (which is removable for cleaning) and scratch on it. The cocoa color matched nicely with my maple furniture but they are plastic. I definitely plan to purchase more, in varying step heights, for other locations around the house (that have carpet) as the cats health needs dictate."
"I went with the dark brown because I am not going to pay double the price just for a color that I happen to prefer."
"I would be comfortable having up to a 40 pound dog use them. They were larger than I expected after I brought them into my space, but that was just because I failed to measure."
"Strong enough to hold me and I'm 170lbs not saying I'd walk up it daily and trust it but plenty for my Yorkie."
"In just a matter of months he went from no arthritis to bad arthritis in his hips and medium arthritis in one front leg."

"However, he does not use the steps 100% of the time unfortunately. Heres a breakdown of the Pros and Cons of these steps: Pros : Light Weight. Neutral Color scheme that will work in nearly any bedroom. Adjustable height. Very easy and quick assembly. Stable - will not fall/break under a slightly heavier dog. Affordable. Cons: Dog does not use it 100% of the time (this may be more of a con for my pup than the product). Not the most stylish... Big/Bulky."
"I think the reason is these Solvit Steps have sides to each step and prevent mishaps and stepping off sideways causing a fall. The sides protect their feet and keep them on target going up and down rapidly or in the night getting on and off my bed. Super easy to unfold from the box NO putting together and best of all Made In America so you are supporting American Jobs."
"I did measure the height from the floor to the mattress and I thought that it was going to be possible for my dog to make the jump from the last step to the mattress but he could not make it and kept falling off."
"The first couple of times of going down off the bed to the first step, she was hesitant, but once I helped her and she understood, she did it with ease and is flying up and down the stairs now. The folding feature, means I can store it under the bed for when not in use, or to keep her off the bed when necessary."
"I have a 20 year old cat (yes, for real) who struggles to get around but he loves being on the bed. I resorted to using an upside down laundry basket by the bed so he could make 2 smaller jumps instead of 1 huge jump."
