Find Best Price at Amazon"I installed NIS 2004 on the 19th of April and immediately experienced a drastic slow down in boot up speed and program access and I am using XP Home Edition on a 2.66ghz Intel chip with 512mb of memory.On the 27th of April NIS stopped working in that I could not access it from the icon on the taskbar and after rebooting a few times the antivirus icon disabelled itself and no matter what I tried I could not get it to enable.My computer became very sluggish as whenever I clicked on the icon the computer stopped responding and I had to reboot."

"I bought and installed Norton Internet Security 2004 version 7.0.3.8 on a PC with Windows 98 Operating System. It took hours to download, install, reboot, activate, register, update, perform pre-install scans, perform recommended scans of the whole drive, and other steps I probably forgot. Called the number, went throught a long series of menus, at the end of which was silence. After a google search, I found this Amazon review space. When you install the parental controls feature, they tell you they recommend a default setting of a child's account so that when the machine boots up, the child account will be the initial one. The software is badly designed, not supported, and will cost you a lot if you install it in terms of lost time, frustration, the cost of tech support to get rid of it, and damage to your system."

Many of my disappointments with Spysweeper relate to the company's continued and intrusive sales "nags" after purchase, while making it difficult to avoid or eliminate them. For example, when you select Update Spysweeper manually from the software's Options page, your browser is opened and you are taken to one of the company's web pages (nag screens), even if your product is up-to-date. Approximately two weeks before your annual subscription comes to an end you are continually presented with another "nag" screen you must respond to each time Spysweeper starts, and there is apparently no way to prevent this screen from appearing until you either update Spysweeper or just remove it from your computer, another unnecessary and time-consuming nuisance. Now whenever you decide to buy a Spysweeper product, or simply update your Spysweeper software to include antivirus protection, Spysweeper automatically "opts you in" for an annual and continuous subscription renewal. Spysweeper appears to be a competent product, albeit, with some technical issues."

Once I got an iPhone and wanted to use all the nifty apps that let you do automatic updating with Outlook, it became painfully obvious that I could never have any integration since nothing syncs with the SQL files. So, I eventually had to import the BCM database into regular Outlook format (losing a lot of info along the way) so that I had something standard that nearly every other program can sync to."
