"Wanted something to help focus me, I feel I'm not very stable on the bike yet, and rollers should do the trick in my opinion. So, after a 30 minute ride, sweat pouring off me, I can say this is definately a workout, takes a lot of focus to keep the bike steady and avoid falling off the rollers, I will admit I fell off once, and have used my elbows a few times to steady myself, but no where near what I'd expected. Update 7/18/12 - Used the rollers all winter, and have definately noticed an improvement in my bike riding this summer. If your a bike rider, sign up for the National Bike Challenge sponsored by Kimberly-Clark at [...]. 12/9/12 - Still using these rollers, still not having any problems with them. I've been getting questions from friends about how do you ride in the house and what happens when you ride off the side, so I've uploaded a short video of me riding off the side of the rollers."
"I have ridden on them several times on my CX bike with dirt tires and slicks and they work fine either way."
"Quality made rollers at a very affordable price."
"Riding on this is also pretty challenging to keep up, but, I got it as a stamina trainer so that was intended."
"If you want to give your money away go ahead and buy the "prettier" set but remember, there won't be anyone but you in the basement this winter to see just how pretty your rollers are. With the money I saved on these I may buy a second stationary, lock in trainer so I can stand and peddle, something you can't do easily on rollers."

"It seems like, "Whoa, this is hokey; no way this is going to work" but it really does work and you can just go all out once you adapt to the feeling of the "ride." You have to maintain your balance 100% of the time, so your mind and body are engaged the whole workout. The instructions say look ahead as you pedal, but I like to glance down at the front tire often (not nonstop though) so I can stay centered. If you start riding on the sides of the rollers, you are going to stop or fall. So far that hasn't caused a problem, but we'll see after another couple hundred miles."
"This is the first set of rollers I have ever owned so I don’t have anything to compare to but the price was good and competitive."
"Purchased as a gift for my son."
"Originally bought this to keep me in shape through the winter but I will definitely be using this every day."
"Great set of rollers."
"After a good amount of research the Nashbar Parabolic Rollers were an excellent choice and price; a friend purchased rollers for more than twice the price and they are exactly the same in design and function the only difference is his has a 3" plate on the frame to put your foot on when getting on and off but I just put my foot on the frame or right on the floor. I'm not sure what all the fuss about rollers is; it really wasn't hard for me at all; I was able to do it my first try; unclipped of course. Not up to no hands, standing, or making an omelet while on the rollers yet but I get better every time I ride them."
"I purchased to maintain my fitness during winter, increase my handling skills, and warmup before mountain bike races."

Progressive Mag Trainer
This provides just the right amount of resistance for training indoors while reading a good book or watching your favorite TV show! Two 3.25” heavy-duty, lathe-turned aluminum drums allow you to use your stock tires to train.
Reviews
"It could provide a little more resistance in lower gears."
"Took me a bit to get the thing lined up so the back wheel wouldn't rub, and the magnetics don't seem to be quite what I expected, but I think I will get good use out of the device."
"Excellent quality."
"Very nice rollers for those days when the streets and trails are covered in snow and ice."
"Really works as I rehab from hand surgery!"
"Lightweight, yet, the trike (with the brakes on) is stable, no disconnecting or extra work, just lift off, go outside and ride, come back in and set it on and ready to spin."
"It appears SportsCrafters is currently referring to this version as the 'Over Drive Trike Trainer.'. This is because I find it extremely boring to ride a trainer without some type of mental distraction. I ended up purchasing some bottom of the line blue tooth headset at Walmart. While watching a good movie, my mind is entertained long enough to allow my body to keep the heart rate up for an hour or two. Most often I set my front tires on bricks; so that the chain doesn't drag on the trainer rollers in some gears. I also find myself keeping my trike cleaner, since it spends more time indoors (I don't want to drag the road grime into the house). And I have to confess, I find myself using the trainer on some nice weather days that I shouldn't; either because there is a movie I want to watch, or have some other lame excuse for not battling traffic or the elements. On the flip side, if I drop down one lower gear, I do not have a smooth enough peddle stroke to spin faster than 90 RPM on the trainer. Other reviewers have compared the resistance to riding on a flat road with a slight tail wind, and I would agree. In summary: Trainer does allow me to spin indoors without losing the physical conditioning built up riding on the road."
"The fact that TerraTrike ,my bikes maker, endorses this for Recombant bikes. Set up in garage so I could use bike when wet and cold outside."

Reviews
"I purchased the Conquer Indoor Bike Trainer Portable Exerciser so I could set it up in my shop and ride my mountain bike indoors for exercise on rainy days and during the colder days when I can't ride outdoors. I pulled the portable trainer out and unfolded it, set the bike in and got it adjusted so that it would ride straight on the roller, tightened the mounting cups, adjusted the tension to where I felt comfortable, got on the bike and took off."
"I bought this because no matter how much I try NOT to blow tires on the back of my mountain bike, I seem to have a gift (or a burr that I can't find on the spokes). Immediately, I knew it was due to the tires I have on my mountain bike."
"Works well just wish it had an adjustment for a larger tire didn’t work with the fat tire mountain bike very well."
"Can easily adjust the level of resistance on the bottom and by shifting gears."
"Excellent piece of training equipment."
"The bike I use on it is older and I do not ride it outside anyway, so the tire thing is not a huge issue for me ATM."
"I feel like I may be over tightening it, as I find my spokes on my rear wheel are always needing to be adjusted after using the trainer."
"Not enough resistance."
