"There is a terrific little carved bamboo stir spoon a couple of plastic little bowls or cups a little folding ladle, a sauce pan cover and I got a Prime Day Special extra addition; a nifty little metal folding spork. I washed it all up, stuffed in an extra pair of socks and a couple of bandana handkerchiefs so it did not rattle (an old army habit). This little kit did exactly what it was supposed to do, it is light and strong, well made and I expect that it will provide me with hot meals out on the backside of the high dessert for years to come."
"These are adorable little pots and bowls, just be aware these are mainly for solo backpackers, the pots are VERY small, and the bowls are like condiment dishes, I doubt you could make an average sized man's supper in one."
"Throw away to scrubber the set comes with and cut a typical kitchen scrubber sponge in half and place it in the set."
"It includes a pot with a cover, a frying pan, 2 bowls for drinking water or soup, a soup spoon, bamboo handle spoon (Hint Note: The bamboo spoons is to be use when you are cooking to avoid scratching the pot or the frying pan, making them last longer), a cleaning loofah and a stainless steel spork, and even though it does not contain a knife, the spork its strong enough to cut through meat, potatoes or carrots. The included loofah (Hint Note: Loofah its a light sponge, compact that won’t scratch your pots making them last longer) makes it even easier to clean this cookware kit and it’s even easier to clean the loofah after you are done using it, just rinse it a little with a water bottle and its ready to go."
"My fiance' and I do a lot of backpacking, so it's important that we have lightweight tools to pack with so I'm not so miserable hauling it up an 8,000 ft climb in elevation."

"Though this might be overlooked by the ultra lighters out there, the Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set is a staple in the camping/backpacking world. In my opinion, you have two safe choices of metal in camping cookware: stainless steel or titanium. I tossed the two plastic nestling cups that come with it in favor of storing my stove, fuel, cleaning towel, and eating utensil inside instead."
"And I also can't believe how absolutely perfect this set is for a minimalist expeditioner, at such an unbelievably low cost. Usually, a cookset that is designed for two will be appreciably larger, but if you're a minimalist and like to keep things simple, there is plenty of space here without overdoing it. which means you can toss in a typical can of food, such as chili or spaghettios, and heat it right up without having to fill it dangerously to the brim. It also happens to be exactly the right size for two or three cups of instant hot chocolate, and enough for the water requirements of many prepackaged dehydrated meals. Backpackers who count every gram may grumble to see that it's made of stainless instead of titanium, but the weight will be quite acceptable to all but the most obsessive ultralight folks. I've seen other stainless sets made from such thin gauge metal that they actually "oil can" (warp or deform) when they get too hot. The tab is tensioned so that it lays flat when packed away, but can stand erect while cooking (for easy grabbing without burning your fingers). That, combined with the taller height of the pot, seems to keep it cooler than the (similar) wire handles on other compact cookware I've used. These marks are visible on both the inside and outside of the pot, so they allow quick, easy measurements when you need a precise amount of liquid to rehydrate a meal or cook to a recipe. NOTES: The Stanley Adventure Camp Cookset fits perfectly on my MSR Pocket Rocket stove."
"I also saw on a youtube video where a guy removed the plastic lid tab and replaced it with a metal key ring so you can cook in the fire."
"Overall I'm very happy with my purchase of this cook set. However, I use this set with a fire pit and placing it above the fire will take at least 15 mins to boil, but you can cut that down if you place it right down next to the logs or near the logs with some kindling around it (see pictures). If you intend to use this cook set with a heat source anywhere but BELOW the set, then expect the plastic handle on the lid to melt."

"OK it looks to me like plenty of reviews on here but after reading the negative ones I had to add my two cents. First of all you still have 4 different sizes to choose from so don't think you are getting a "set" of "nesting" pots. They are either golf ball size packs of noodles or he is reviewing the 1.6 pot. This pot is perfect for boiling water fast to rehydrate Mountainhouse meals for two. It's stainless steel so it can burn food easily if you don't monitor your flame. Inside that pot I keep a headlamp, multi-tool, fire starter, bandanna, first aid, compass, sewing kit, mirror, fishing kit, cordage, cable saw. The one con is the handle won't lock into the open position. The handle could possibly fold up while pouring, thus dumping your hot whatever onto whatever."
"The 775ml MSR Alpine Stowaway is the perfect camp cook pot to use with the Ohuhu® Camping Stove/ Backpacking Stove - Portable Stainless Steel Wood Burning Stove or any of the identical collapsible/portable stainless wood burning stoves just like it that can be found these days being sold under a variety different brand names & prices here on Amazon and elsewhere."
"For those (including myself) complaining about these pots spilling liquids when trying to pour out of, I made tiny indents on the lips of my pots."
"The fit between the lid and pot is tight enough that it will probably contain the mess if a salt shaker busts open in there while you're moving. The 1.1 liter size will store two unopened packs of ramen noodles, one on top of the other, with room to spare (see customer image)."

"Does an equally good job keeping things cold. They are quite expensive and I hear there are brands that do just as good a job keeping things hot/cold."
"We have bought a few of these from Academy as gifts and my wife owns one (you can tell who make the BIG bucks in our house). I started looking for a tumbler because the one I was using at work was pretty beat up but I didn’t want to send $30 for one (yes I’m cheap). I did some research and by the time I got my Amazon Yeti I was armed with this information. I tried to label the pics: fake on the left in red, real on the right in green. 4) HEIGHT – The fake one is about 1/8” taller. 5) UNDER – The 2 tumblers have the “Design in in Austin…” sentence but the numbers after “China” are different. There is a difference in weight, I think the real Yetis are a bit heavier (also got this info from a YouTube video). If you are paying anything under $30 and/or if the cup is being shipped directly for China, chances it is a fake. My advice (if you want a real Yeti) buy one directly from Yeti, REI, Academy, Dick’s, Cabela’s, ACE Hardware…. At the end I did spend $30: I bought 3 Ozark Trails (look up Yeti vs Ozark Trail in YouTube) from the local Wally-Mart: two 20oz tumblers and one 30oz tumbler."
"Bigfoot isn't real... and neither is this YETI."
"This is a fake YETI."
"I originally purchased one from REI and noticed that the two I recently ordered from Amazon did not look or feel right."
"The image pictured has a YETI lid."
"The lid has started to crack after 3 weeks."
"Counterfeit items!!!"
