After that you just make a few adjustments using the setup screen like time, date, format your SD card, choose if you want to take photos/videos or both, how long to record, and how long to wait between recordings. I have it positioned on a tree in my backyard that focuses on my back door and also where we get a lot of animals wandering around. Here in PA we get bears, turkey, deer, fox, neighborhood dogs, and countless other critters. Find Best Price at Amazon"The camera has a number of set up choices, including the quality of photos/videos recorded, how long to capture video clips, what info to include on the photos, whether photo/video capture should be limited to certain times of the day, etc. The camera has a standard female screw port (like most trail cameras) on its base so you could mount it on a tripod or mounting bracket, but I chose to fix it to 4x4 wood post using the included mounting strap. Videos and pictures are in full color when taken in the day time, black and white in darkness (same as any other LED trail camera). I prefer just leaving it on picture mode since I get tons of captures on my deer feeder and thus it takes too much time for me to go thru videos vs. pictures. The AUCEE trail camera records good quality photos and videos (with sound I should add) even in the medium resolution. setting."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I don't use SD or MicroSD cards much any more like I did in college, but when my girlfriend's Android freaked out and corrupted her entire Micro SD card (I think that's what it was), I told her to let me borrow it. Using this card reader, I was able to plug her Micro SD into my computer, and, with the card still in the reader, ran a data recovery program that rebuilt all her photos that weren't corrupted. Like I said, I don't use card readers very often any more, but this is one of those things that I feel like everyone should have in case of an emergency, like needing to download photos after a digital camera's computer cable is lost, or when you need to get files off an Android."
