Reviews
"I bought a size too big, so I'll do what another reviewer suggested -- cut off the excess and burn the end with a lighter."
"These 5.11's feel great, sturdy but extremely light compared to my leather belt with heavy buckle."
"I am a BMX trick rider (by recreation, but I ride a lot) and I wanted a belt that was sturdy, held well, and didn't have a buckle that pinches or cuts. What interested me in this belt was the price, the buckle system, the material and the buckle itself - it has not disappointed me! After a week or so of breaking in, the "bulkiness" - that some have complained about - that the belt material makes on the buckle is gone and it lays flat when fastened. Also, I can see the practicality of survivalist stuff moreso with this belt than any other buckle system."
"This is a tough and versatile tactical belt."
"After it is on, it hold just fine, but it can be real challenging to get it snug if one is carrying several thousand emergency calories around the mid-section."
"It took some time to get used to putting this belt on, since it takes a bit more time than my last belt."
"I have a hard time fitting other belts through it, but this 5.11 belt is nice and thin and performs great."
"With all the hype about the 5.11 belts, I was disappointed with this purchase."

Primos Double Bull Tri Stool
Whether you are a professional, recreational user, or even casual, primos will fit the mold for all types of people.
Reviews
"Bought this because I've had this same chair for about three years that I purchased in a sporting goods chain store."
"Heavy and bulky for a stalk seat.. may be just because I'm hefty, but it makes the normal camp chair noise every time you move... it no longer goes with me hunting, but I do use it around the fire ring - lags don't go to sleep, at the cost of crushing the privates.. it's cool though, I have enough kids as it is..."
"CONS: * The rubber feet were scuffed and had dirt, which means the item was returned. If someone used the chair maybe once or twice, then returned the item, I would expect less damage."
"Great chair for a blind."
"This truly is the perfect shooting stool."
"Like so many bowhunters; I bought the high dollar bow, expensive no-scent hunting cloths and the very best pop-up ground blind... then as an after-thought... I lasted 3 hours in the cheap seat... no buck. The QS3 is wider, better padded and best of all... it has outstanding back support."
"The base of the Tripod is fine for just about any type of ground so long as your not placing it in much or real soft ground - I hate to read negatives about that - for any spot your setting up in a few shims of wood will work to prevent that but every situation is different for terrain and conditions. For sure this product will provide you with feed back - its not "light as a feather" but its not anything that will keep you from going to any spot slinging over your shoulder but the weight tells you its made from a sturdy contstruction that isntl like those camp chairs that have four legs - CRAP for me - I crush em and sink in - I need to be on my toes and this chair does it for you."
"So I can sit in this chair for 5-6 hours straight and be comfortable."

Midland GXT1000VP4 36-Mile 50-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair) (Black/Silver)
50 Channels with Up to 36-Mile range communication in open areas with little or no obstruction,120V Charger.
Reviews
"One of the features that was very important to me and set Midland apart from most of the other radios was their Group call feature. When I got the radios, I noticed as I setup them up the same as my original 4 that the Group call feature was missing."
"I live out in the country and needed a way to communicate with the wife and children.. Up on arrival we charged the units for a complete 24-30 hrs."
"These work well for limited distance, about 1 to 2 miles.I haven.t tried them at a greater distance, but I'm happy with the clear reception, and especially for the price through Amazon. The print is hard to read, and the Quick Reference Chart is almost impossible to read without a magnifying glass."
"I'll use these in my RV to instruct the driver when parking and docking. Will also use them in the campground when I head down to the lake to fish."
"Do your homework.... you won't get 36+ mile range on any GMRS radio in real-world conditions."
"I tested them last summer between two villages in high mountains and they worked on about 3 km distance in the partially cloudy weather."
"They're not left in dirty toolbags or dropped on job sites. To their credit, they had me send them the radio and they replaced it. I paid shipping to them, but they paid shipping back to me. It IS broadcasting something because it gives out a very unusual feedback signal on my computer speakers but not the same feedback as every other radio we have. It seems like it's just decided to operate on a totally different frequency. FREQUENCY INFORMATION FOR THOSE THAT WANTED TO KNOW: For those that are curious about frequencies and channels, I figure I'll save you the hassle of looking it up and figuring it out. The following chart shows the Radio channel (the number on the on-screen LCD) along with the actual frequency of that channel, the common name for that channel (so you can set another standard radio to match it) and the broadcast power of the channels. Nesco FD-75A Snackmaster Pro Food Dehydrator, White - MADE IN USA
Opaque Vita-Save exterior helps block harmful light which destroys nutritional content of food being dehydrated. The hot air is forced horizontally across each individual tray, converging on the core for fast, even and nutritious drying.
Reviews
"I bought this dehydrator sort of like many people did: after reading the things you can do with it, I got all excited, thinking, "I'm going to dehydrate EVERYTHING and it's going to be amazing!!!" So far, I've used the dehydrator to make a couple of batches of each of: - Apple chips (thin apple slices soaked for a few hours in a combo of lemon juice and cranberry juice, then dried). - beef jerky (this dehydrator comes with a starter park for jerky, plus I made my own marinade the next time). - chicken jerky. - bacon bits (the ends and "bad cuts" of my own home-cured, smoked bacon, finely chopped, cooked, and then dehydrated. The temperature can be dialed in from 95ºF to 160ºF as printed on the top (remember that problem I mentioned? Well, I have tested the actual running temperature of the dehydrator against the printed values on the dial, and they're not even close. I used several methods to determine the temperature: 1) A Mastercool Digital Infrared Thermometer pointed directly into an exhaust vent (see photo) with the dial set to the maximum 160ºF. 4) A digital metal probe thermometer (Lavatools Thermowand) inserted into both the upper and lower exhaust ports. In all cases (except #3, which responded too slowly) I was able to see the lower temperature at which the heater kicked on, as well as the upper temperature at which the heater turned off (in theory, this would be right around the number printed on the dial). - At the 135ºF setting on the dehydrator, the actual temperature maxed out at around 120ºF, at which point the heater turned off and the temperature dropped slowly until the heater came back on. - At the 160ºF setting (maximum), it was the same story but with an actual temperature topping out at around 135ºF. What concerns me is this unit's suitability for jerky -- the minimum recommended temperature for any meat is 160ºF when making jerky. I'm not too terribly concerned about the beef jerky because I routinely eat beef at a much lower temperature than that (though it does make a good case for refrigerating the jerky in this case), but the chicken jerky could have gone pretty badly!"
"The 3rd reason I love this dehydrator is simple, it produces the best tasting dehydrated foods I've ever had, I'm and avid outdoorsman and have dehydrated everything from deer to turkey, family friends insist I start selling the jerky made with this product. With all that being said, if you have a dehydrator that is getting old/malfunctioning or just want to start making your own dehydrated foods, this product is for you, don't pass this one up, you will not be dissatisfied with your purchase."
"First, lets talk about performance: Only in a few ocasions I could dry something with less than 12 hours using a moderate temperature and thin slices. But a 4,5 or 4,7 stars would be more fair, since this dehydrator has a lot of good points and we live in a very humid area, in the sea coast. I think if you are willing to put some peppers in a dehydrator, you should use very low temperatures, those used to dry herbs and other fragile stuff. I can not believe some people say this dehydrator makes some undesirable noise to the point that they need to put them in a room far from their bedroom otherwise they couldn't sleep! The gray and white marble finish fits incredibly well in any room, like it's camouflaged, hard to explain. Dehydrated fruits leave virtually no residue, they stick very lightly to the trays and can be easily pulled out. Not a single banana or any other fruit like apples got stuck in the trays to the point that they couldnt be removed easily with the fingers, and entire, not in fragments. (Room temperature: 28 Celsius) With 9 trays full of fruits: 1st hour: 650 Watts (average). Explanation: the first hours take more power because the machine is heating the trays so the thermostat rarely turns off. After a few hours, the thermostat only activates ocasionally to refresh the temperature, since the trays are already heated and only need a maintenance to keep the warm air flow. When the electric resistance turns off, the measure of wattage reads 28 watts, that's the power consumption of the fan (negligible). I will update this review if anything unexpected occurs, or if I have any important thing to add, like new food experiences, et cetera. To finish this review, I'd like to apologize for my awful English, I had a hard time writting this because I am not a native speaker, so tell me if something sounds odd or particularly unusual, I can clarify your questions in the comments section."

"Several reviews here state to load the first cartridge or even show it in a video using the magazine loader on the first cartridge and that is not the proper way to use this product. "This shirt was perfect in XL for me.This shirt fits perfectly."
"I decided to keep it because I desperately wanted to fill out my flannel collection, and it's ok for flannel shirts to be a bit boxy; after a few months I eventually brought it to my tailor to bring it in, and it fits better (although I didn't have him adjust the arms, so they are a bit loose compared to the rest of the shirt), but that added $20 to the total price of the shirt, which is significant in something of this price bracket."
"The colors do not fade (washed about 10 times so far), but I have only washed them in cold water. If you remove from the dryer promptly, they do not wrinkle to the point they need ironing."
"It's a good work shirt or knock around shirt that if it tears or gets messed up, you won't care too much."
"I normally wear a large, reviews said these run a bit big, and they do."
"Somewhat small usually I wear a large but a large was somewhat tight-fitting on me so I got an XL."
"I love flannels and have a lot but the Legendary Whitetail brand is by far the best fitting flannels I have ever worn."
"The material in my shirt just has more of the red lines and when taking a photo it makes the light brown appear much brighter. Only issue I’ve had is Amazon sending me used clothing with hair and cigarette smoke as new."

Best Hunting & Shooting Eyewear & Hearing Protection

Howard Leight by Honeywell Impact Pro Sound Amplification Electronic Shooting Earmuff, Black & Grey (R-01902)
Includes 3.5 mm connection cord for MP3 players and scanners; includes 2 AAA batteries; automatic shut-off feature after 4 hours increases battery life; approx.
Reviews
"Most of my shooting is done at indoor ranges; and everyone knows that gunfire (or any loud noise) is more severe in an enclosed environment. In my set of Impact Pros, the volume needs to be cranked up almost to full maximum in order to attain a "normal" level of hearing, and it seems to me that there is also an unusually high amount of background hiss. As far as "cutting out" when there is a sharp spike in the noise level, though, the electronics in the Impact Pro are wonderful. If the unthinkable happens and I really do have to press that trigger one unfortunate night, I'd prefer to come out on the other side with my hearing still intact; but the other 'plus' about the (electronic) earmuffs that is often overlooked is the sound amplification. Howard Leight does not market these as "tactical" hearing protection, so it would be unfair of me to rate them as such. So would I recommend the Howard Leight Impact Pro earmuffs to my best friend or family members? Some misguided individuals will claim that the low profile makes them better suited for long gun use than the full size Impact Pro; i.e. that the low profile design doesn't interfere with their cheek weld. What I know for a fact, though, is that bigger guns make a bigger boom, and I'd much rather be wearing these Impact Pro muffs than the Impact Sport when I'm shooting a big-bore rifle/shotgun... or worse, when I'm standing NEXT TO a person shooting one at the indoor range! As a "graduation present", I bought her a pair of these Howard Leight Impact Pro earmuffs. :-) FYI: I also bought my daughter-in-law the ESS ICE NARO 2x Eyeshield Kit as part of the graduation present."
"I know that there are a lot of reviews about this item but I wanted to share my experience having purchased both the Impact Pro and the Impact Sport (R-025024) model Howard Leight by Honeywell R-02524 Impact Sport Sound Amplification Electronic Earmuff, Black. They look bulky and if they did not have the same brand name you would think that the Impact Pro is a much more inferior product than the Impact Sport. When you put the Impact Pro on and raise the volume all the way to high, the sounds are not louder than what you would hear without them while the Impact Sport amplify the sounds and you can hear better. They are also enormous compared to the Impact Sport (see attached photos) and they do not fold nicely as the Impact Sport do. I also find both the Impact Pro and the Impact Sport very comfortable and do not feel that I want to take them off after a couple of hours of wearing them but comfort varies from person to person and you may find them more or less comfortable than I do. In my opinion, the Impact Pro are made for the indoor shooting range and the Impact Sport are made for outdoor activities and would most likely be great for hunting because they amplify the sounds around you while they seal your ears from the gun shots as long as you are not shooting high caliber pistols of rifles."
"CONS: This set has poor sound reproduction, quite dull, so buying them for music is disappointing. On balance, for me (I don't listen to music while shooting), they are very good, and I appreciate the further noise reduction, their basic function. Will normally use the smaller, 22 db reduction units outdoors unless I know someone brought their "cannon", and these indoors."

"Read some books or watch many trainer videos acclaimed and accomplished trainers or even go to the many dog training schools and learn hands on."
"Our husky (my second, his first) has learned proper boundaries with a lot of formal school and training; we only use her collar for off leash re-call or to reinforce correcting negative behavior (jumping into the planter, digging)."
"Luckily we don't have to use it much, as our dog is a fast learner when it comes to unwanted behavior."
"I have a 11 month old pitbull and I needed to train her because she was getting too big and strong so fast."
"Our dog spends a lot of time in the water and it's absolutely as promised with the water proof aspect."
"Working great for us to train our dog to not jump over a very high wall."
"I have a pit bull and after working with a trainer for 4 weeks, it was clear that I needed an electronic collar."

"This thing worked like a charm."
"Cons. - The website used for all tracking and reporting IS NOT HTTPS (secured using TLS / SSL); your logon and password are sent unencrypted for the tracking portal. - Your entire browsing session for the SpyTec Portal IS NOT HTTPS; anyone able to sniff your network traffic knows exactly what you are browsing while on the Portal. - The GPS seems to be off by up to about 30-40 feet on our unit; may lead to improper street address resolution. - The web portal seems to be geared to tracking "drivers," as if this product is only to be used for tracking vehicles. Pros. - The SpyTec web portal is well thought out in general. - The web portal can be accessed from any modern browser, not limiting you to a specific Android or iOS application, for example. - The service does allow you to define areas to be notified when the GPS leaves / returns to certain area. - It appears to be much more effective than bracelet GPS devices sold for children, especially in that it works to some extent inside buildings. - Mapping / Reporting is based on Google Maps, and that's pretty nice. Background: We purchased this unit to track our 3 year old child that suffers from an Autistic Spectrum Disorder."

GunVault SV500 - SpeedVault Handgun Safe
Offering a revolutionary design, the speed vault is equally as fast as it is discreet. Quick access Digital keypad.
Reviews
"The first was placed in a concealed spot so looks didn't matter but the second was going to be placed in a rather open area so the vault needed to blend."
"Just hold the Learn button for 3 seconds until the green light flashes and you hear a couple of beeps!!!"
"They are cheap and short and needs to be replaced if you want this vault to be really secure from burglary (check out my pics to see the screw provided its about 1/2" bite). Depending on where you are mounting it (night stand, computer desk, stud on the wall) the length of the screw you're going to use is going to vary obviously. Mine is currently mounted to the inside of my computer desk using 4 lag screws from Home Depot and one nut/bolt/washer combo (had to drill the hole on the plate myself). The only way a burglar is going to get access to that firearm is by breaking down the computer desk first, then taking the whole safe with him so he can pry it open later at his leisure. Another issue is the thumb screws provided (mounts the vault itself to the base plate), they are small as well and also a weak point."
"I attached it to my nightstand, so it is pretty well hidden between my nightstand and my bed, and it holds my SIG securely and safely."
"I have purchased 2 safes from Gunvault - the GVB 2000 and the SV 500 Manual. The 2000 Biometric as a safe place for my every day carry weapon and the SV Manual to keep another gun close to my nightstand. As a result, I believe the biometric safe is entirely unsafe - any child, including my own grandkids, out of curiosity, could place their finger on the fingerprint reader, and if they we lucky enough to touch the other release button, could have access to the safe's content. I completely regret my purchase, and want others to know that Gunvault's service is horrible, and from this reviewer's perspective - THE PRODUCTS I PURCHASED ARE UNSAFE for anyone to use to keep their firearm from someone that should not have access."
